Split-step DMFT 알고리즘을 이용한 한국과 중국/일본간 전자파 간섭특성 분석

국내 남해안 일대에서 1994년부터 주파수공용통신(TRS) 서비스에 간섭이 처음 발생한 이후, 최근 셀룰러 이동통신 주파수대역에서도 유사한 간섭 현상이 발생하고 있다. 측정 결과 그 간섭원이 일본의 디지털 셀룰러 이동서비스의 기지국인 것으로 밝혀졌으며, 이는 일본의 디지털이동전화 기지국의 송신주파수와 국내의 TRS 및 셀룰러 이동통신 기지국의 수신주파수가 중첩되기 때문이다. 한국과 일본간의 거리가 240∼300 km임을 고려할 때 간섭의 주 원인을 덕팅현상으로 결론지을 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 split-step DMFT 알고리즘을 이용하여 덕팅채널을 통한 전자파 전파를 모델링하고, 동해안과 서해 지역의 실제 측정된 굴절율 profile에 대한 시뮬레이션 결과를 분석하였다.

Social network sites(SNSs) have been drastically increasing in use in recent years and can be cited as a communication tool with diversified forms in comparison with existing media. People are conducting various activities including relaxing entertainments, information sharing, escapism, social interaction, habitual pass time and others through the use of the SNSs. However, people have various motivation when using SNSs, with information sharing drawning a lot of organizational attention. Therefore, this study aims to ascertain motivational factors of SNSs that influence information sharing and conduct empirical analysis based on use and gratification theories and social identity theory. Factors influencing motivation of use of SNSs were divided into self-expression, involvement, interaction and media structure, and analysis was conducted to determine effects on continuance SNSs motivation. Our analysis results show that involvement had the greatest effect on continuance motivation and that remaining factors were also significant. In addition, continuance motivation turned out to have a significant effect on information sharing.

Since touristic product is an intangible experience good, it is important to visualize and record the touristic experience through media such as pictures, videos and souvenir. With the growth of information communication technology, online platform has played a role of media. Tourists tend to post their touristic experience for the purpose of self-presentation on the spot, however, as time goes by, they tends to reminisce about the past touristic experience that they posted on their social media. In other words, social media is not the only channel of self-presentation or communicating other people, but also an archive of keeping records electronically and bringing back their memories. Thus, we investigated the impact of social media on tourist's autobiographical memory (recollection and vividness) and intention to revisit destination.

The line heating is a thermoplastic working technique which is used in bending work of steel plate and in correcting the distortion of welded structure. This method is considerably effective when the water-cooling is followed. In this study, an investigation was accomplished to find the effects on the change of material properties when the line heating was applied on the high tensile steel plate of 50kg/mm^2$ grade. Some steel plates were heated to various temperatures and then cooled with water or in the air. In this study, the author measured the angular distortion continuously during line heating to find out the relation between the bending efficiency and heating or water-cooling temperature. Furthermore, its material properties were examined by the V-notch Charpy impact test, the microscope observation and the Vickers hardness test. As results, the followings were clarified. (1) The amount of angular distortion increases as the heating temperature or the water-cooling temperature rises. (2) When the steel plate is heated between 700.deg. C and 900.deg. C, and then is water-cooled over 700.deg. C, some brittle structure is observed. But if the temperature of water-cooling is below 700.deg. C, no brittle one is found. (3) When the steel plate is heated over 800.deg. C and is cooled in the air, there is no unfavrable effect.

The utilization of Near Field Communication (NFC) is one type of Internet of Things (IoT) in the exhibition industry. Exhibition attendees changed into smart tourists who acquire and utilize exhibition information using NFC. In the context of tourism, the active utilizing of new information technology such as NFC is crucial to the development of information technologies and their vitality. However, exhibition attendees tend to have resistance toward using a new information technology such as NFC, which attracts attendees to unplanned booths. Thus, the objective of this study is to understand use resistance of NFC and unplanned behavior with the perspective of Motivation-Threat-Ability (MTA), resistance theory and unplanned behavior theory. Therefore this study built a research model and examined how NFC switching cost, threaten, and self-efficacy affect unplanned behavior through use resistance. Also, we examined the relationships between self-efficacy and unplanned behavior. This study collected sample data from 373 first-time NFC users in the Cosmetic & Beauty Expo, Korea 2013. The results represented switching cost of NFC and threaten positively affected unplanned behavior through NFC use resistance. In addition, self-efficacy affected unplanned behavior directly and indirectly. This study has its significance in understanding the NFC use resistance and unplanned behavior away from existing viewpoint of NFC acceptance.
전파환경에 따른 밀리미터파 대역 경로손실 측정 및 분석

본 논문에서는 27GHz에서 전파환경별 경로손실을 측정하고, 각 수신지점에서 5분간 측정된 경로손실 데이터의 중앙값, 최대값, 최소값을 선형회귀 모델로 모델링하고 분석하였다. 측정 결과를 살펴볼 때, 밀리미터파 대역 가시경로의 경우에도 도심이나 부심 환경에서는 추가의 경로손실을 고려해야 할 것으로 생각된다. In this paper, path losses in millimeter-wave band for different propagation environments are measured, and the results are analyzed by modeling the median, maximum, and minimum values of the measurement data for each site, which are recorded for 5 minutes, with a linear regression model. The measurement data shows that in urban and suburban environments, extra path loss must be taken into account for line-of-sight path, even in millimeter wave band.
Role of Pyruvate Dehydrogenase Kinase 4 in Regulation of Blood Glucose Levels

In the well-fed state a relatively high activity of the pyruvate dehydrogenase complex (PDC) reduces blood glucose levels by directing the carbon of pyruvate into the citric acid cycle. In the fasted state a relatively low activity of the PDC helps maintain blood glucose levels by conserving pyruvate and other three carbon compounds for gluconeogenesis. The relative activities of the pyruvate dehydrogenase kinases (PDKs) and the opposing pyruvate dehydrogenase phosphatases determine the activity of PDC in the fed and fasted states. Up regulation of PDK4 is largely responsible for inactivation of PDC in the fasted state. PDK4 knockout mice have lower fasting blood glucose levels than wild type mice, proving that up regulation of PDK4 is important for normal glucose homeostasis. In type 2 diabetes, up regulation of PDK4 also inactivates PDC, which promotes gluconeogenesis and thereby contributes to the hyperglycemia characteristic of this disease. When fed a high fat diet, wild type mice develop fasting hyperglycemia but PDK4 knockout mice remain euglycemic, proving that up regulation of PDK4 contributes to hyperglycemia in diabetes. These finding suggest PDK4 inhibitors might prove useful in the treatment of type 2 diabetes.
