        장편국문소설에 나타난 몽유양식의 양상과 의미 : < 현봉쌍의록 > < 현몽쌍룡기 > < 몽옥쌍봉연록 > < 쌍천기봉 > < 취미삼선록 > 을 중심으로

        This paper aims at bringing out the meaning of dream modes being in the long Korean Novel, especially existing from the middle 17th century to 19th century. For this work, I classified the dream modes existing in the long Korean Novel into three types. The first type contains the conception that the ethical and moral code, what is to say the value of the actual world, is the most important. So we can say that the first type of dream modes are accepted for the purpose of emphasizing the idea of the actual world and the being things. The dream modes like the first type appears in <HyunbongSanguiRok> and <HyunmongSsangryungKi>. The second type contains the conception that the actual world is just subjected to the other world, generally it is Heaven. Therefore, we can say that all the things happen in this actual world were prepared by the Heaven King. This way of thinking related to the fatalism. The dream modes are arranged to notify the character's heroic and sacred ability or original identity, social positions in heaven. The dream modes in <MongokSsangbongyunRok> and <SsangcheonKibong> correspond with the second type. The third type accepts the dream modes for shaking off the yokes and actual conflicts existing in this world. The characters in novel dream the opposite circumstances, and console themselves in difficulties. This type seldomly find out in the long Korean Novel, without <ChuimiSamseonRok> The dream modes existing in the long Korean Novel differ from the dream mode of Chongi(傳奇) Novel. The latter received the dream modes for the sake of odd atmosphere which make the reader unfamiliar. But the former received the dream modes as a way of fictional situation which make the reader interesting. And so, we can say that the dream modes in long Korean novel was accepted just for accustomed fictional way. But the attitude of the readers toward the world and their class in dynasty society make differences the types and meanings. The first type is agreed on the high class, the second and third type is good at the lower class. That's the reason why the dream modes in long Korean Novel is classified three types.

        <여와전>과 <봉신연의> 대비의 소설사적 의미

        The aim of this thesis is comparative study between <Yeowachon> and <FengShenYanYi>. It is expected that the comparative study is to clear the homogeneity and heterogeneity of theme and materials in these works. <Yeowachon> is very important work to understand the history of novels specially before the early 18th century. And <FengShenYanYi> is a representative historical novel with the character of mythical heroes. These works have lots of same sides the title, characters, plots and the method of descriptions. And more, these works have the similar theme which establishes order in the world of chaos. These facts mean that these works are published at the similar generation of novel history. Even though there are lots of similar sides between them, we can't conclude that <Yeswachon> are created in similitude of <FengShenYanYi>. We can't sure the influences of <FengShenYanYi>. And more important, there are many different sides between them. For examples, <Yeswachon> not only has characteristics of historical novels but the characteristic of dream novels. And the ground of ideology, the aesthetic sense and characters are different from those of <FengShenYanYi>. Like these, similar and different sides between them are originated from the developments of novel history of each countries. The novel histories of each country developed very similar, and also they have different literary hereditaments. So obviously, they have no relations but have lots of similar sides.

        조선시대 온천의 인식 기저와 문학적 형상

        이 논문은 조선시대 온천의 문학적 형상에 대한 인식적 기저를 살피고, 온천의 문학적 형상이 지닌 다양한 의미의 층위를 살폈다. 온천욕의 경험을 토대로 한 기(記)나 가요(歌謠), 한시(漢詩) 온천 관련 구비설화를 대상으로 하였다. 온천의 인식적 기저는 박물학적 인식 태도와 신비주의적 태도가 있다. 박물학적 인식 태도는 온천 현상을 합리적으로 이해하려는 것이며, 신비주의적 태도는 온천 현상의 불가해함과 그 효능을 신비스런 현상으로 받아들인 것을 의미한다. 이와 같은 온천 현상의 인식적 기저는 작가와 창작의 목적에 따라 다양한 층위를 이룬다. 지배층의 칭송을 목적으로 하여 아유의 대상으로 여긴 경우, 온천이 유발하는 고통으로 인해 일상적 삶의 질곡과 멍에로 여긴 경우, 온천의 신령함을 현실적 장애의 낭만적 해결책으로 형상화한 경우로 구분된다. 온천의 이런 다층성은 온천에 대한 인식과 형상화가 각 개인의 삶의 조건과 환경에 견인되어 있음을 의미한다. 계층적 위상에 따라 온천을 인식하고 바라보는 시선이 달라지는 것이다. 이런 점에서 온천의 문학적 형상은 역사적 현실을 고스란히 반영하고 있다 하겠다. This thesis aims to research the base of cognition for the spa and its literary figures during the Chosun dynasty, and to study these meanings. There are many works concerning the Spa, examples records on spa, poems on spa, and its stories. The characteristics of recognition toward the spa are two. First, it is impossible to understand the physical phenomenon of spa, but we have to try to understand it. Second, it is impossible to understand, so we have to admit it as a mysterious phenomenon brought by deities. On the base of these recognition, literary figures of spa diversified according to the class of writers and the purpose of writings. Sometimes, the spa is a good expedient for flattering and praise for the King and his family. The upper class writers regarded the spa as a good omen for the King's rule and behaviors. But the people thought the spa as a yoke causing pains. On the King and upper class visit the spa area, the people endure the pains for their enjoyments. So the people had no rooms for admitting the mysterious phenomenon as a good omen. But the people enjoyed stories on the spa, considered the spa as a method of solution for their difficulties. Of course, these expectations were not real, they just had optimistic without reasons. The real world is too difficult to endure, so they dreamed for future without difficulties. The spa was the method of dreaming. The diverse recognition toward the spa were brought form the writer's environments and conditions and the historical experiences. According to their class made the aspect toward the spa different. The figure of spa reflected the historical circumstance during Chosun dynasty.
