The purpose of this study is to clarify the relationship between ground slope and lower limb segments coordination during walking. The selected subjects of this study were twelve adult female and the used .system was vicon 370 system from Oxford Metric Co. SPSS pc+ package was used for data analysis. Statistical techniques to analyze the data were a oneway-ANOVA, and the Tukey HSD method. With the basis of the findings of this study used by above mentioned methods, conclusions are as follows: 1. Hip flexion/extension, hip adduction/abduction, knee flexion/extension and ankle dorsiflexion/plantar flexion was shown significant differences according to the ground slope initial contact. 2. Hip flexion/extension, knee flexion/extension and ankle dorsiflexion/plantar flexion was shown significant differences according to the ground slope in opposite toe-off. 3. Lower Limb segments angle was shown no significant differences according to the ground slope in opposite heel-contact. 4. Knee flexion/extention was shown significant differences according to the ground slope in toe-off.

The purpose of this study was to confirm the effects of incorporation of lithium, magensium, potassium sulfate on the length of crystals, and the correlation between the crystal length and the shear bond strength. Basic solution was a mixture of polycarboxylic acid and diluted sulfuric acid, three sulfates were added into them with the concentrations between 0.1% and 0.5% by weight ratio. The length of crystals were measured on the scanning electron microscope, and the shear bond strength were measured on the universal testing machine. Regression test between crystal length and sheat bond strength were done. Shear bond strength were influenced by the concentration factor than the factor of sulfates kinds. In magnesium sulfate experimental groups, the shear bond strength were decreased and then increased again by the rise of concentration, and the longer crystals showed the higher shear bond strength. Lithium sulfate exhibited the efficacy of lengthening the crystals, magnesium sulfate can be used as a material reducing the length of crystal, however potassium sulfate showed no-effect on the length of crystal. It could be concluded that the length of crystal can be controlled by the concentration of sulfates, and that the shear bond strength were influenced with the length of crystal. So the related to the definitions of crystals which exhibit the high shear bond strength and the controlled composition of crystal growth solutions are needed.

The purpose of this study is to find out the role of inclination on the characteristics of coordination of walking movement. For the aim, a total of twelve female adults were selected and required to free-walk on a treadmill at normal speed(1.25m/sec). Four different angles were applied to the treadmill's incline, i.e. 0%, 5%, 10% and -5%. Those female adults performed walking more than five time for each of the treadmill slope. The test was done using Vicon370 made by Oxford Metric Co. At least 3 sets of the test results, after excluding apparently abnormal figures, were standardized and analysed. In the analysis, the three-dimensional quantitative method was adopted. For the coordination factor analysis, correlation coefficient was checked to figure out coordination effect. From the above results, the following conclusion was drawn. 1. The effect of different inclination on coordination pattern was clearly revealed in flexion and extension of the sagittal plane, which showed large movements. 2. During walking, the degree of inclination affected the changing patterns of coordination in lower extremities.

생체친화성이라 함은 재료를 특정한 용도로 인체에 사용하거나 적용하였을 때 인체가 적당한 방응을 보이는 것을 의미한다. 최근에 보철재료의 생체친화성을 정량적인 수치로 표현하고자 하는 노력이 있으나, 아직은 대조군과 실험군을 함께 평가한 수 대조군으로부터 기댓값을 얻었을 때 실험군의 상대적인 ‘등급(degree)'판정을 내리는 방식을 이용한다. 이와 같은 방식을 이용함으로서 서로 다른 연구실이나 대학으로부터 얻어지는 자료를 공동 활용하고 나아가 용이한 실험방법의 개발이 이루어지도록 유도되고 있다.
