        The Floristic Study of the Bryophytes of Andeok Valley, Jeju Island

        Bryophytes are a group of three divisions of non-vascular land plants, which are divided into mosses (Bryophyta), liverworts (Marchantiophyta) and hornworts (Anthocerotophyta). In Korea, approximately 900 species of bryophytes were recorded. However, only a small number of researchers have discovered new taxa and conducted taxonomic review and floristic study have not been sufficiently investigated in a regional scale. Therefore, bryophytes are still considered one of the unexplored fields. Andeok Valley is located in the western part of Jeju Island, Korea and considered very important region from an academic point of view. In addition, the evergreen broad-leaved forest has been designated and protected as a Natural Monument No. 377 by the Cultural Heritage Administration of the Republic of Korea. The vascular flora in this area was well studied, however, only a few studies on the bryophytes have been conducted to date. The present study was conducted to provide a bryophyte flora of Andeok Valley and contribute to the bryophyte flora of riparian forests and evergreen broad-leaved forests, Jeju Island and Korea on a regional scale. A total of 73 taxa belonging to Bryophyta (10 families 42 genera 59 species) and Marchantiophyta (8 families 11 genera 14 species) were determined, and the liverwort index was found to be 19.2%. The predominant life-form were the tall turf and mat type. The rates of bryophytes dominating at mesic to hygric sites were 57.5% and bryophytes, which were mainly observed in xeric habitats were 42.5%. These values indicate that the bryophyte habitats in the study area were relatively dry compared to some Gotjawal areas. The results seem to be caused that this area includes a dry stream which is one of the characteristics of Jeju Island. Upon an investigation of the substrates, bryophytes on rocks were most diverse. These results appear to stem from the fact that the rock crevice and vertical rock face formed by vertical joints, offering various types of micro-habitats for bryophytes. In addition, it was noteworthy that species adapted to the aquatic environment such as Brachythecium rivulare Schimp. and Chiloscyphus polyanthos (L.) Corda inhabit.

        교사의 학생평가 역량 연구

        최근의 학생평가 동향인 과정 중심 평가, 고교학점제, 교사별 학생평가, 대입전형에서의 수시 비율의 확대 등에 의해 교실 단위의 학생평가에 대한 중요성이 높아지고 있고, 이와 함께 교사의 학생평가 역량 중요성이 더욱 부각되고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 교사의 학생평가 역량을 측정할 수 있는 18개 문항으로 구성된 자기보고식 척도를 개발하였다. 척도에는 최신 학생평가 동향인 과정 중심 평가와 성취평가제의 특성을 측정할 수 있는 문항들을 포함하여, 최신 학생평가와 관련된 역량을 실태를 파악할 수 있도록 개발하였다. 학생평가 역량 조사는 온라인 설문으로 진행되었고, 총 1,307명의 교사가 응답에 참여하였다. 이 중 300명의 교사의 응답을 척도 타당화를 위해 사용하였고, 나머지 1,007명의 교사 응답을 바탕으로 실태조사를 하였다. 척도 타당화를 위해 탐색적 및 확인적 요인 분석을 실시하였고, 척도는 평가시행(α=0.919), 평가계획 및 도구개발(α=0.913), 윤리성 및 법적절차 준수(α=0.938), 결과환류(α=0.876), 4개의 요인으로 구성되어 있었다. 개발된 척도를 활용하여 학교 급에 따라, 교사의 교육 경력에 따라, 성별에 따라 교사의 학생평가 역량 실태조사를 하였다. 초등 교사가 모든 요인에서 다른 학교 급 교사에 비해 학생평가 역량을 높이 인식하고 있었고, 중학교, 고등학교 순으로 역량을 인식하고 있었다. 남녀 교사의 학생평가 역량은 모든 요인에서 초중고 모두 차이가 크지 않았으며, 교육 경력별로는 경력이 오래될수록 자신의 역량이 높다고 인식하고 있었다. 또한 최근 학생평가 정책에 대한 교사의 학생평가 역량을 살펴보면 과정 중심 평가와 관련된 항목들이 성취평가와 관련된 항목보다 높은 평균을 보였다. The importance of student assessment in the classroom has been increasing due to recent trends and polices on student assessment, and so has the importance of teachers’ competencies in student assessment. In this study, a self-report scale was developed to measure teachers’ competencies in student assessment. The scale is composed of 18 items including the latest student assessment polices: process-oriented assessment and standard-based achievement assessment system. The survey using the scale was conducted online and a total of 1,307 teachers participated. Among the responses, the responses of 300 teachers’ were used to validate the scale using exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis, and those of 1007 teachers’ were used for descriptive statistics to investigate the current state of teachers’ competencies in student assessment. Based on the factor analysis, the scale consists of four factors: administering student assessment (α = 0.919), developing assessment (α = 0.913), ethics and legal process (α = 0.938), and feedback and usage for assessment results (α = 0.876). With the developed scale, teachers’ competencies in student assessment were analyzed according to the school levels, the years of educational experience, and gender. The results showed that elementary school teachers’ competencies were highest in all factors followed by middle school teachers’ and then high school teachers’. Also, there were no meaningful gender differences between the school levels in all four factors. According to the years of educational experience, the longer the teachers have served, the higher they think their competencies are. Regarding the recent student assessment policies, the mean of the items related to the process-oriented evaluation was higher than those related to the standard-achievement evaluation.

        맥파전도속도(PWV)를 이용한 체질별 죽상동맥경화 위험인자에 대한 상관관계 연구

        Object : The purpose of this study was to investigate the correlation of atherosclerosis risk factors and pulse wave velocity (PWV) of carotid-femoral artery with Sasang constitution. This study also aimed to investigate the relationship between PWV and risk factors of atherosclerosis, including serum cholesterol and homosisteine, hs-CRP. Methods : We enrolled 160 patients without experience strokes who visited our hospital for a medical examination from January 1, 2008 to April 30, 2010 except patients whose body constitutions were undetermined according to QSCCII. We investigated the correlation between serum cholesterol values, blood pressure, body mass index(BMI), homosistein, hs-CRP and PWV. Pearson's correlation and partial correlation analysis were applied to examine the relationship between PWV and risk factors of atherosclerosis. Result : Among the 160 subjects, 54 were Taeumin, 54 were Soyangin, and 52 were Soeumin. The prevalences of high BMI (P-value <0.01), high hs-CRP(P-value <0.05), and high PWV(P-value <0.05) of Taeumin were higher than those of the other constitutions. PWV of carotid-femoral artery was significantly different among the three constitutional groups(Taeumin: $8.12{\pm}1.64m/sec$, Soyangin: $7.48{\pm}1.16m/sec$, Soeumin: $7.49{\pm}1.12m/sec$)(P-value <0.05). This research has show a statistical significance between the average amount of carotid-femoral artery PWV that is higher in Taeumin. Age factor of Taeumin was the effective determinant of the increase of mean PWV of carotid-femoral arteries. Conclusions : There were significant differences in the prevalence of atherosclerosis according to Sasang constitution. This study showed that atherosclerosis was more prevalent in Taeumin. Therefore, according to our results, risk of atherosclerosis was higher in Taeumin than among other constitutions.

        제국의 잔재로서 부유하는 남성들: 이시구로의 부유하는 세상의 화가 , 그날의 잔재들 의 서사와 서술자 연구

        This paper aims to analyze the narratives and narrators of An Artist of the Floating World and The Remains of the Day by Kazuo Ishiguro, comparing their narrating strategies on the basis of the concept of the unreliable narrator’s self-narrative from the perspective of Gestalt psychology theories. Researchers in Gestalt psychology strive to understand our mentality as a whole and an organic system rather than a segmented one. The main issue explored in both this paper and Gestalt psychology is the autonomy and independence of individual in being true to oneself. However, the narrators in the two novels equally fail to construct their own Gestalt due to the dominance of an imperialistic ideology symbolized or substituted as paternal authority within the narrative. Both Ono and Stevens, the narrators of each novel, integrate their work ethics, social relations, and world-views with those of their “top-dogs.” They relinquish their agency in their career paths and even in romance, as seen in Stevens’ case, in the name of national duties. This paper will illuminate the process of the narrators’ blind submission to their paternal figures, which involve both biological and class-based fathers, ultimately representing an ideology disguised as dignity.

        갱년기 동물모델에서 Lactobacillus acidophilus YT1의 갱년기 증상 완화 효과

        갱년기(폐경)는 나이가 들면서 난소의 노화에 의해 생식 호르몬의 생산이 감소하는 자연스러운 신체적 변화 과정이나 수반되는 증상으로 인해 삶의 질 저하가 나타날 수 있다. 갱년기 증상 완화를 위해 호르몬 대체 요법이 주로 사용되지만, 장기간 사용 시 부작용이 따르므로 새로운 치료법이 필요하다. 프로바이오틱스는 장 건강, 비만 및 면역에 대한 유익한 효과로 잘 알려져 있으며, 최근에는 갱년기에도 유용한 효과가 있는 것으로 보고되고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 난소절제 동물모델을 이용하여 Lactobacillus acidophilus YT1이 갱년기 증상에 미치는 효능을 확인하였다. 12주령의 암컷 SD 랫트를 Sham+DW, OVX+DW, OVX+estradiol (20 μg/kg), OVX+L. acidophilus YT1(3.7×105 CFU/mL/ head/day), OVX+Lactobacillus reuteri(3.7×106 CFU/ mL/head/day)로 그룹화하고 갱년기 모델 유도 후 L. acidophilus YT1을 12주간 매일 1회 경구투여 하였다. 난소 절제 12주 후 Sham군에서는 통증 민감도, 우울증 관련 행동 및 체지방량 증가와 골밀도 감소가 관찰되었으나, L. acidophilus YT1 투여군에서는 이러한 증상이 유의하게 회복되었다. 또한, L. acidophilus YT1은 장 상피세포의 장벽 강화를 통해서 장내 투과성을 강화시킬 수 있었다. 결론적으로 L. acidophilus YT1은 갱년기 여성의 통증 민감도, 우울증, 체지방 및 골 손실의 증가와 같은 폐경기 증상을 완화해줄 수 있으며, L. acidophilus YT1을 활용한 갱년기 여성의 건강을 위한 건강 기능성 식품의 개발이 기대된다. Menopause is a natural process, where ovaries produce less reproductive hormones, which degrades the quality of life. Hormone replacement therapy was used primarily to reduce menopausal symptoms but new therapies are needed because they have a risk in long-term use. Probiotics are well known for their beneficial effects on bowel health, obesity, and immunity, and they have been reported to have useful effects on menopause in recent years. This study examined the effects of Lactobacillus acidophilus YT1 on menopausal symptoms in ovariectomized (OVX) rats. Twelve weeks-old female SD rats were divided into five groups: (1) sham+DW, (2) OVX+DW, (3) OVX+estradiol (20 μg/kg), (4) OVX+L. acidophilus YT1 (3.7×105 CFU/mL/head/day), and (5) OVX+Lactobacillus reuteri (3.7×106 CFU/mL/head/day) that were treated once daily for 12 weeks after OVX. Pain sensitivity, depression-related behavior, and fat mass were significantly increased at 12 weeks after OVX and the bone mineral density was decreased. These menopause symptoms were significantly recovered by a daily oral treatment of L. acidophilus YT1 for 12 weeks. Overall, the treatment of L. acidophilus YT1 could alleviate menopausal symptoms, such as increased pain sensitivity, depression, body fat, and bone loss in menopausal women, which suggests it could be developed as a functional food and probiotics for elderly women health.

        교사별 학생평가 도입을 위한 학교단위 학생평가 실태 및 교사별 학생평가 인식 조사 연구

        최근 과정 중심 평가와 수행평가를 확대하는 흐름이 강조되면서, 교사가 자신이 가르친 내용을 자신이 가르친 학생에게 평가하는 교사별 학생평가에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 교사별 학생평가 도입을 위해서는 우선 현재 교사별 학생평가의 학교 현장 적용 가능성과 적합성에 대한 점검이 필요하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 초중고 1,295명 교사를 대상으로 현재 학생평가의 실태 및 교사별 학생평가에 대한 교사의 인식을 조사하여 현안을 진단하였다. 학생평가 실태조사에 따르면 초등학교는 평가 시기, 출제 방식, 평가 대상, 성적 산출 방식에서, 중학교와 고등학교는 수행평가의 평가 시기, 출제 방식에서 교사별 학생평가의 특성을 보이고 있다. 교사별 학생평가 인식조사에 따르면 다수의 교사가 교사별 학생평가 방향에 동의하고 그 장점 및 의의에 대해 인식하고 있으나, 교사별 학생평가의 객관성 및 공정성, 학교의 행정적 구조, 입시에 대한 부담감, 그에 따른 민원 제기 등의 문제로 인해 교사별 학생평가에 대한 부담감을 느끼고 있다. 교사별 학생평가 도입을 위해서는 이와 같이 진단된 현안을 해결해야 한다. 학년협의회 및 대규모 평가의 문항을 활용한 교사별 학생평가의 객관성 및 공정성 확보, 학교급별 점진적 도입을 통한 안정적 시행, 교사별 학생평가에 대한 교사, 학생, 학부모의 공감대 형성, 교사별 학생평가 시행을 위한 교사 지원, 교육행정제도 보안 개선 등이 이루어져야 하는 것이다. Recent student assessment policies emphasize process-oriented student assessment. This emphasis raises attention to classroom assessment which a teacher evaluates learning outcomes of students to whom the teacher teaches, called as ‘teacher-specific assessment’. In order to introduce ‘teacher-specific assessment’ in schools, we need to evaluate the applicability of ‘teacher-specific assessment’ at school. For this research, we conducted a survey on the concept of ‘teacher-specific assessment’ to investigate the actual situation of the assessment. We surveyed around 1,295 teachers from elementary schools, middle schools, and high schools. According to the results of the investigation of actual situation, test schedule, items or tasks developments, subjects, and grading for elementary schools are close to those of ‘teacher-specific assessment.’ And test schedule and items or tasks developments of middle and high schools are close to those of ‘teacher-specific assessment.’ According to the result of teacher’s perception for ‘teacher-specific assessment’, most of the teachers are positive for introducing ‘teacher-specific assessment.’ Also teachers agree to the intension of ‘teacher-specific assessment’ and recognize the advantage of it. However, they also concern objectiveness and fairness of ‘teacher-specific assessment, administrative structure of school, the burden of university entrance examination, and complaints of parents and students related to student assesment. In order to introduce ‘teacher-specific assessment.’ in schools, these concerns about ‘student assessment by a teacher.’ need to be addressed, such as teacher councils and large assessment items can be used to improve objectiveness and fairness of ‘teacher-specific assessment.’

        이용자 관점에서의 공공도서관 디지털자료실 실내디자인에 대한 선호도 연구

        This study examines the preference for interior design space planning of public library multimedia center users. The spatial arrangement plan of the multimedia center, furniture arrangement by reading seat, bookshelf usage pattern, and preference for interior image were investigated. Preference survey according to user group was classified into target age and digital literacy. This survey went through SPSS statistical analysis. The spatial planning plan without the feeling of alienation of users is presented, and it can be used as basic data for the construction of a multimedia center spatial model that can accommodate various user groups. Targets for case analysis were 13 public libraries in Seoul and Gyeonggi province, from where 310 multimedia center users was analyzed and classified for KDQ. Preference of multimedia center differed according to user's age and the digital literacy regarding space allocation plan. Digital users who were older or with lower level of digital literacy tended to visit information desk, where professional librarian is allocated, in order to use digital data or receive service. Consequently, information desk or service area for users who have trouble with using multimedia center should be planned separately. In addition, differentiated interior design image elements are planned and visual ventilation is given to each space.

        데이터3법 개정 이후 개인건강정보의 제3자 사용에 대한 간호대학, 의과대학 학생들의 인식조사

        Massive amount of health data is being generated through various types of wearable devices. Recently, the ‘Revised Data Protection Acts’ related to utilizing personal health information by third parties were enacted to facilitate sharing and reusing personal health information while securing data privacy. This study explored the attitudes of undergraduate and graduate nursing and medical students toward using and sharing their health data and their understanding of the related laws. A 19-question survey was given to nursing and medical students at a university in Seoul from August to October 2021. A total of 377 students participated in the survey. Most participants (80.6%) had past or current experience collecting Patient-Generated Health Data (PGHD). More than half of the participants (62.6%) thought health care provider should use their PGHD. Three-quarters (75.1%) of the participants were willing to share their de-identified health data with a third party. They were more willing to share their data for research (97.5%) but less for marketing (27.6%). The most significant reason not to share PGHD was the lack of trust in legal recourse for abuse or misuse of their personal health information. Most participants thought they owned their PGHD (92.6%) and were responsible for their data management (85.7%). On the recently enacted ‘Revised Data Protection Acts’ related to utilizing personal health information by third-party, only 6.4% of the participants were fully aware of the law. Most participants did not know the changes in the Revised Data Acts, which calls for continued education and publicity about the details of these laws. Understanding the expectations and demands of the public for sharing and using personal health information is crucial to supplement the policy on privacy as necessary. 2020년 1월, 데이터 이용에 대한 규제를 완화하기 위한 방안으로 ‘데이터3법’이 국회에서 통과되었다. 이러한 변화 가운데, 개인건강정보의 공유 및 활용과 개정된 데이터3법에 대한 인식을 파악하고자 하였다. 본 연구는 서울의 한 대학교 간호대학, 의과대학 학부생 및 대학원생 377명을 대상으로 한 조사연구이며, 설문조사는 2021년 8월에서 10월까지 진행되었다. 참여자의 75%는 가명 처리된 개인건강정보를 제3자에게 공유 및 활용하도록 할 의향이 있다고 응답하였으며, 이들은 건강정보가 연구 목적으로 이용될 때 공유할 의향이 높았으나(98% 이상), 마케팅(28% 이하) 목적으로 이용될 때는 공유 의향이 낮았다. 개인건강정보 공유를 허용하지 않는 참여자는 ‘건강정보가 악용되었을 경우 국가적인 처벌 시스템에 대한 불신’을 가장 큰 이유로 꼽았다. 또한, 대다수의 참여자는 개인건강정보에 대한 소유권과 관리 권한이 정보 주체에게 있다고 응답하였다. 데이터3법이 시행된 지 1년이 지났으나, 참여자의 6.4%만이 관련 법에 대해 잘 알고 있었다. 개인건강정보 공유와 활용에 관한 국민의 요구와 기대가 큰 만큼 그에 상응하는 개인정보보호 규정을 마련할 필요가 있으며, 바람직한 데이터 활용을 위해서는 데이터3법에 대한 지속적인 홍보가 필요하다.

        교사의 학생평가 역량에 영향을 주는 변인 탐색 연구

        The purpose of this study is to investigate the variables that affect teacher's competency for student assessment and to find out the strategies to improve the competency. The survey was conducted online on 454 teachers from elementary schools, 191 from middle schools, and 227 from high schools to evaluate the teachers’ competency for student assessment, The scale of teacher's competency for student assessment is composed of the following: “planning assessments and developing tools”, “assessment adminstration”, “feedback”, “ethics and compliance with legal procedures”. In order to investigate the variables affecting the teacher's competency of student assesment, the general linear model analysis was employed using teachers’ sub-competencies of student assessment as dependent variables; teachers’ school levels, gender, years of teaching, whether or not to take a subject related to student assessment and the types of training/workshops participated in as independent variables. The results of analyzing the general linear mode have shown that school level, gender, years of teaching, some training/workshop related to students assessment participation were statistically significant, whereas taking courses related to student assessment at the university and training/workshops for student assessment did not affect the teacher's competency for student assessment. Nonetheless, it was found that the average competency of the teachers who took courses related to student assessment was higher than that of those who did not take such courses. The comparison of the teachers’ competence according to their participation in training/workshops has indicated that taking the courses related to curriculum, teaching and learning, and subject competency partly affected the teachers’ sub-competency of student assessment while no such difference was observed in taking the student assessment training/workshops. Based on the results, in order to improve the competency, we need to understand the teacher competency for student assessment by school levels that teachers attend. Also the standards of the teachers competency for student should be developed with consideration for school levels. Since the student assessment courses at the university offer the basic skill and knowledge for pre-service teachers, universities should develop and provide high quality programs for student assessment. Training/workshops related to student assessment should be reconstruct to enhance the teacher's competency for student assessment Lastly, it is necessary to develop specific and detailed training/workshops focused on sub competencies rather than overall competencies for student assessment. 본 연구의 목적은 교사의 학생평가 역량에 영향을 주는 변인을 탐색하고, 역량을 증진할 방안을 도출하는 것이다. 초등학교 454명, 중학교, 191명, 고등학교 227명의 교사를 대상으로 교사의 학생평가 역량인 “평가계획 및 도구 개발” 역량, “평가시행” 역량, “결과환류” 역량, “윤리성 및 법적 절차 준수” 역량을 온라인으로 조사하였다. 교사의 학생평가 역량에 영향을 주는 변인을 탐색하기 위해 교사의 학생평가 하위 역량을 종속변인으로 학교급, 성별, 교직경력, 학생평가 관련 과목 수강 여부, 교육 관련 연수/워크숍을 독립변인으로 하는 일반선형모형 분석을 하였다. 독립변인 중에서는 교사의 소속 학교급, 성별, 교직경력, 일부 연수/워크숍 유형이 교사의 학생평가 역량에 통계적으로 유의하게 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 대학에서의 학생평가 관련 과목 수강 여부와 학생평가 관련 연수/워크숍을 참여 여부는 교사의 학생평가 역량에 영향을 주지 않는 것으로 나타났지만 학생평가 관련 과목을 수강한 교사의 역량이 수강하지 않은 교사의 역량 평균보다 높게 나타났다. 참여한 연수/워크숍에 따른 교사의 역량 정도를 비교한 결과 교육과정, 교수학습, 교과역량에 연수/워크숍 참여가 일부 학생평가 하위 역량에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났고 학생평가 연수/워크숍 참여는 교사의 학생평가 역량에 영향을 주지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 분석 결과를 통해 교사의 학생평가 역량을 증진하는 방안은 다음과 같다. 학교급 상황을 고려하여 교사의 학생평가 역량을 이해할 필요가 있고, 학교급에 적합한 학생평가 역량 기준을 설정해야 한다. 대학의 학생평가 관련 수업은 교직경력이 없는 예비교사에게 학생평가 역량의 기초가 될 수 있어서 양질의 학생평가 과목을 개발하고 제공해야 한다. 학생평가 관련 연수/워크숍은 교사의 학생평가 역량을 높일 수 있는 구체적인 프로그램이 개발되어야 한다. 마지막으로 학생평가 역량을 총합적으로 증진시키는 것보다, 하위 역량에 중점을 둔 구체적이고 세분화된 연수/워크숍 개발이 필요하다.
