수용성 Dimethyl Dimethoxy Biphenylate 유도체의 간염 치료 효과

A water-soluble DDB derivative (Bis{2-(methylamino)ethyl}-4.4-dimethoxy-5.5', 6.6'-dimethylene-dioxy-biphenyl-2,2'-dicarboxylate, DDB-S) was synthesized and its therapeutic effects on the liver damage induced by carbon tetrachloride in rats were evaluated. Oral administration of DDB-S reduced the aspartate aminotransferase(AST) and alanine aminotransferase(ALT) activities and increased total protein and albumin contents in the serum of the carbon tetrachloride intoxicated rat. Therapeutic effects of DDB-S by intravenous injection was also investigated using carbon tetrachloride intoxicated rats. Histological studies showed that IV injection of DDB-S had improved the typical necrosis around centrilobular area in liver tissue due to the carbon tetrachloride intoxication and also prevented the elevation of liver weight/body weight ratio. IV administration of DDB-S to CCl₄-treated rats significantly decreased AST & ALT activities and also prevented the decrease of aniline hydroxylation activity of the liver. These results indicate that i.v. administration of DDB-S is very effective in recovering the liver function in CCl₄-treated rats.

In this paper, we analyze the performance of Follower Noise Jamming(FNJ) considering three practical tracking parameters such as tracking bandwidth, tracking time and tracking success probability. The performance of FNJ is compared with that of Partial-Band Noise Jamming(PBNJ) in terms of Symbol Error Rate(SER) at the communication receiver under the assumed typical operation model. It is observed that the performance of FNJ is non-linearly dependent on the tracking bandwidth, the tracking time and the tracking success probability. As we can easily expect, it is also observed that the performance of FNJ is better than that of the PBNJ. Finally, it is shown that, for a fixed tracking bandwidth, the combinations of the required tracking time and the tracking success probability which satisfy a certain required SER.

Li<sub>4</sub>Ti<sub>5</sub>O<sub>12</sub> has received great attention as an anode material in Li-ion batteries due to its “zero strain” characteristics in lithium insertion/ removal process and thereby the excellent cycleability. The potential for Li-insertion is about 1.5 V vs. Li, which is above the reduction potential of most electrolytes or solvent, which makes Li<sub>4</sub>Ti<sub>5</sub>O<sub>12</sub> a promising anode material of Li-ion batteries for safety concerns. Unfortunately, Li<sub>4</sub>Ti<sub>5</sub>O<sub>12</sub> exhibits a poor electronic conductivity, which limits its rate-capability. Our results showed that the Li<sub>4</sub>Ti<sub>5</sub>O<sub>12</sub>-xHalx (Hal: F, Cl and Br, 0.125≤x≤0.250) compounds showed better electronic conductivity and corresponding experimental results showed better reversibility and higher cyclic stability compared with pristine Li<sub>4</sub>Ti<sub>5</sub>O<sub>12</sub>. In addition, the theoretical results suggest that there are two kinds of Li<sub>4</sub>Ti<sub>5</sub>O<sub>12</sub> unit cell, n-type and p-type. The two types of unit cells have different structures and electronic properties, which provides clear clue of the reason why halogen-doping Li<sub>4</sub>Ti<sub>5</sub>O<sub>12</sub> shows improved electronic properties.
