        하드웨어 구현에 적합한 효율적인 LDPC 코덱의 설계

        Low-density parity-check (LDPC) codes are recently emerged due to its excellent performance. However, the parity check (H) matrices of the previous works are not adequate for hardware implementation of encoders or decoders. This paper proposes a hybrid parity check matrix which is efficient in hardware implementation of both decoders and encoders. The hybrid H-matrices are constructed so that both the semi-random technique and the partly parallel structure can be applied to design encoders and decoders. Using the proposed methods, the implementation of encoders can become practical while keeping the hardware complexity of the partly parallel decoder structures. An encoder and a decoder are designed using Verilog-HDL and compared with the previous results. Low Density Parity Check (LDPC) code는 최근 그 우수한 성능으로 인하여 4세대 무선 이동 통신용 채널 코딩으로 주목받고 있고 유럽의 고화질 위성방송 규격으로 채택되었다. 그러나 기존의 연구들이 제안한 parity check matrix (H-matrix)는 실제로 하드웨어로 구현함에 있어서 인코더 혹은 디코더에 제약을 가지고 있다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하고자 본 논문에서는 인코더와 디코더 양쪽 모두 효율적으로 하드웨어로 구현이 가능한 hybrid H-matrix 구조를 제안한다. Hybrid H-matrix는 semi-random 방식과 partly parallel 방식을 결합하여 하드웨어로 구현시 partly parallel 방식이 가지는 디코더의 복잡도가 감소되는 장점을 유지하면서 인코더 또한 semi-random 방식을 사용하여 복잡도가 감소된다. 제안한 구조를 사용하여 LDPC 인코더와 디코더를 설계하고 합성하여 기존의 결과와 비교하였다.

        A Viterbi Decoder with Efficient Memory Management

        This paper proposes a new architecture for a Viterbi decoder with an efficient memory management scheme. The trace-back operation is eliminated in the architecture and the memory storing intermediate decision information can be removed. The elimination of the trace-back operation also reduces the number of operation cycles needed to determine decision bits. The memory size of the proposed scheme is reduced to 1/(5×constraint length) of that of the register exchange scheme, and the throughput is increased up to twice that of the trace-back scheme. A Viterbi decoder complying with the IS-95 reverse link specification is designed to verify the proposed architecture. The decoder has a code rate of 1/3, a constraint length of 9, and a trace-forward depth of 45.

        Design of Encoder and Decoder for LDPC Codes Using Hybrid H-Matrix

        Evaluation of holmium laser for transurethral deroofing of severe and multiloculated prostatic abscesses

        Purpose: Our objective was to evaluate the use of a holmium laser for transurethral deroofing of a prostatic abscess in patients with severe and multiloculated prostatic abscesses. Materials and Methods: From January 2011 to April 2014, eight patients who were diagnosed with prostatic abscesses and who underwent transurethral holmium laser deroofing at Pusan National University Hospital were retrospectively reviewed. Results: Multiloculated or multifocal abscess cavities were found on the preoperative computed tomography (CT) scan in all eight patients. All patients who underwent transurethral holmium laser deroofing of a prostatic abscess had successful outcomes, without the need for secondary surgery. Of the eight patients, seven underwent holmium laser enucleation of the prostate (HoLEP) for the removal of residual adenoma. Markedly reduced multiloculated abscess cavities were found in the follow-up CT in all patients. No prostatic abscess recurrence was found. Transient stress urinary incontinence was observed in three patients. The stress urinary incontinence subsided within 3 weeks in two patients and improved with conservative management within 2 months in the remaining patient. Conclusions: Transurethral holmium laser deroofing of prostatic abscesses ensures successful drainage of the entire abscess cavity. Because we resolved the predisposing conditions of prostatic abscess, such as bladder outlet obstruction and prostatic calcification, by simultaneously conducting HoLEP, there was no recurrence of the prostatic abscesses after surgery. We recommend our method in patients requiring transurethral drainage.

        산업별 원가관리회계시스템 실태에 관한 연구 -제조업과 건설업간의 차이를 중심으로-

        본 연구는 제조업과 건설업에 대한 원가관리회계시스템의 실태를 파악하여 급변하는 경영환경 하에서 이들 업종 기업의 경영전략 마련을 위한 원가관리회계시스템의 적합성여부를 파악하는데 도움을 주고자 그 기초적 연구로서 두 업종간의 원가관리회계시스템에 대한 차이를 분석하였다. 이를 위하여 먼저 기존의 문헌분석을 통하여 원가관리회계시스템에 대한 조사 분석을 위한 기초적 지식을 습득하고 이를 기초로 우리나라 증권거래소에 상장된 제조기업과 건설기업을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 본 연구에서 분석한 원가관리회계시스템은 원가기획, 원가회계담당자의 제품기획 및 개념화 단계에 참여정도, 표준원가계산시스템, 그 밖의 원가계산제도, 품질원가, 환경관련원가 등이다. 실태분석 결과 제조업과 건설업간에는 사용하는 원가관리회계시스템이 통계적으로 유의적인 차이를 보이는 부분이 매우 많은 것으로 나타났다. This study primarily centered on investigating the differences in accounting system for manufacturing and construction industries. This study reviewed the current status of cost accounting system for manufacturing and construction industries that are facing a rapidly changing management environment. The objective of the study was to determine the suitability of cost accounting system for continuity and growth of the company. Accordingly, the study analyzed the differences in cost accounting system of two industries. To attain the objective, a review of literature was made first and by using the references, a theoretical foundation was established for an examination and analysis of cost accounting system. Using this as the basis, the researcher circulated questionnaires from some of the listed/publicly traded manufacturing and construction companies in Korea. The items that were researched in the cost accounting system were cost planning, product planning by the cost accountant, his participation in the conceptualization stage, standard cost accounting system, cost of product quality, and environment related costing. The study result showed that there are numerous statistically significant differences between manufacturing industry and construction industry in terms of cost accounting system.
