In this research, the ground coverage, the Albedo distribution, moisture content distribution, NDVI distribution of Busan Metropolitan City and the entire Gyeongnam region were calculated with the validation review using satellite images in order to establish Urban Environment & Ecology GIS DB. With Busan Metropolitan City and the entire Gyeongnam being the subjects, the satellite images of 2002 and 2012 were used to create the ground coverage, Albedo, NDVI distribution. The changes in the city development of the past 10 years and the ecological changes were compared and analyzed and by integrating DEM, the geographical information, it was meshed into a unit of 500m x 500m in order to establish one integrated Urban Environment & Ecology GIS DB.

Objectives: To investigate the relationship of internet addiction and depression, and evaluate other possible related factors. Methods: Data was based on the questionnaires from 300 college students in Seoul. Gender, age, major, family income, academic performance, people they live with, location, and main use of internet were included. We used Young's Internet Addiction Test and Beck Depression Inventory(BDI) to measure the depression and addiction degree. Results: In logistic regression analysis, it was found that gender, depression degree and main use of internet were significant variables. There were 136 males, 144 females in this study, and the risk of being addicted to internet were 10.9 times(CI:2.67~44.68) higher in male than female. People with moderate depression (Beck's Depression Inventory(BDI) Score>20) also had higher risk(11.4 times, CI:2.03~63.95) to be addicted in internet than normal group. Lastly, in case of internet use, people who use internet for games and chatting were 6.38(CI:1.38~29.63) and 4.84 times(CI:1.30~18.06) risky compare to the group with web surfing. Conclusion: The result of this study suggests that there is noticeable relationship of internet addiction and depression. However we do oat have evidence of exact relation between them, therefore more studies should be done.

This paper describes a design of the external-exciting electronic ballast for 100W high pressure sodium lamp. The ballast is consists of the full-bridge inverter and an external-exciting control circuit. L and C values of an equivalent L-C series resonant circuit are calculated analytically. The electrical output characteristics of the ballast, such as voltage, current etc., are simulated by Pspice. The experimental results from high pressure sodium lamp system with the ballast we developed are shown to be consistent with the simulated results.
ENVI-met를 이용한 중국 베이징 아파트 하절기 미기후 특성 분석

The purpose of this study was to analyze outdoor thermal comfort of apartments planning characteristic of pedestrian height in Beijing, China. Selecting 322 apartment complexes with more than 1000 households and more than 10 buildings including 10 buildings), mainly in Chaoyang District and Tongzhou District to select 32 basic layout types and then 12 typical layout types were select in 32 basic layout types. Finally, the simulation was conducted for the 12 typical layout types using the micro-climate model ENVI-met to evaluate the wind environment, the thermal environment and the comfort. The results of this study as follows: In the parallel arrangement, it has the best outdoor thermal comfort of Slab-East-Parallel(S/E/P). Next is Slab-South-Parallel(S/S/P), Tower-South-Parallel(T/S/P) in turn. In the stagger arrangement, Mixture-South-North and South Stagger-1(M/S/NSS-1) has the best outdoor thermal comfort and Slab-South-North and South Stagger(S/S/NSS), Tower-South-North and South Stagger(T/S/NSS), Mixture-South-North and South Stagger-3(M/S/NSS-3), Mixture-South-North and South Stagger-4(M/S/NSS-4), Mixture-South-North and South Stagger-2(M/S/NSS-2) in turn. In the cluster arrangement, Mixture-Mixture- Cluster-2(M/M/C-2) has the best outdoor thermal comfort and Mixture-Mixture-Cluster-3(M/M/C-3), Mixture-Mixture-Cluster-1(M/M/C-1) in turn. Due to the low wind speed and high air temperature, it is necessary to consider the layout types that can form the wind road at first, such as Mixture-South-North and South Stagger-1(M/S/NSS-1), Slab-South-North and South Stagger(S/S/NSS) and so on.
