Dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans(DFSP) is an uncommon cutaneous tumor, which is characterised by slow invasive growth, marked tendency of local recurrence after excision and infrequent metastasis. Initially, most DFSPs are noticed as plaque like areas of cutaneous thickening and frequently have a reddish at the margins. As the tumor increases in size it is typically described as a raised, firm, multinodular mass that is fixed to the overlying skin, but movable over the deeper tissues. The authors report a case of recurrent DFSP, developed on the right anterior chest of a 32-year-old man. There was no evidence of metastasis.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the significance of media education and to compare media education policy of Korea with leading countries like British, Canada and the U.S.A. The thesis of media education has been emphasized with the development of media technologies for growing the abilities to understand and use the media exactly in everyday life of child and youth. In many countries including Korea, media education programs about newspaper, broadcasting, advertising, films etc. have been attempted in school, society and at home. Especially media education in British, Canada and the U.S.A. is very successful from various points of view and gives us many advices. Above all things media education within school is the most important. Therefore this study suggested alternative ideas for media education policy in Korea as follows emphasizing of understanding a concept media literacy for child and youth, organizing of its curriculum and learning methods, cultivating their special teachers, developing various materials and training facilities about media, and building up the evaluation system gradually in school environment.

This study is intended to examine the patterns and development of citizen's involvement and make some recommendations to promote citizen's participation for the rational environmental policy process in Korea. This paper classifies citiiens involvement in the environmental policy process as the resident's self-governing type. the resident's demand(or resistance) type, the public relation type, the policy advisory type, the public-private co-production type, and the multi-stakeholders partnership type. The evaluation of the citizen's participation based on these categories is as follows. The pattern of citizen participation in environmental policy process should be changed from current demand and public relation types to multi-stakeholder partnership types to meet the new socio-economic circumstances. Even though citizen participation improves democracy and transparency of administration, it sometimes causes serious side-effects to lead to ineffective administration. In the case of citizen's participation with no specific environmental knowledge, the paticipation may result in a lot of unncessary costs. In order to make useful outcomes from citizen's participation, we recommend some policies · to promote environmental partnership moods, to provide proper information to the pubic, to diverse citizen partnership methods and to expand citizen partnership in the policy implementation stage.

Growing concerns on global environmental problems and emerging new world trade orders make policy makers from both private and public sectors consider alternative pollution control instruments. This paper discusses about what is called "voluntary approaches" as an alternative to industrial pollution control that can help to achieve the new paradigm of environmental policy; ESSD. Voluntary approaches are never a theoretically well-developed policy instrument; they are the outcomes of practical experiments, By giving more leverage over pollution control to industries and supporting the effective adoption of environmental management into individual firms, they intend to achieve the dual goals of environmental conservation and management performance at the same time. Korea, confronting with hard-times not only economically but environmentally, needs more flexible environmental policy tools that can acquire cleaner environment with less costs; and promote smooth technological progress. It is believed that voluntary approaches can be used as good complementary policy instruments to Korea's current rigid regulation system.

This paper investigates the Democratic Party election strategy for 2010 midterm elections. The Democratic Party suffered major defeats in many national and state level elections, with many seats switching to Republican Party control. Based on the assumption that defeat in elections might mean defeat in election campaign strategies, this paper identifies four characteristics of the Democratic Party election strategy in the 2010 midterm elections. First, the Democratic Party adopted the ``anti-Bush strategy.`` Second, the Democratic Party attempted to equate the Republican Party with the Tea Party movement and claimed Republican goals are inseparable from the Tea Party`s. Third, the Democratic Party employed the tactic that portrayed what the Republican Party talks about is so far out of the American mainstream that they represent a clear danger to the political health of the country. Lastly, turning out African Americans became the Democrats` central pre-occupation for the midterm elections, and for African Americans the Democratic Party attempted to nationalize the election around Obama and his agenda. The paper concludes that these campaign strategies failed to read voters` mind, thus had contributed to the Democratic Party`s loss of the elections.

This study investigates real-time path planning for UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) to avoid obstacles in an outdoor environment in a three-dimensional space. First, we implement an algorithm to convert from Octomap to a grid map to implement a global grid map. Secondly, the ESDF (Euclidean Signed-Distance Field) algorithm is integrated into the path planning obtained through the JPS (Jump Point Search) algorithm, and the B-Spline algorithm is applied to modify the path to consider the dynamic constraint of UAVs. Finally, path planning algorithms are verified in real-time through simulation and flight testing. The simulation is based on the Gazebo environment using the open-source autopilot PX4 with the ROS. A depth camera performance is compared for an outdoor flight test to select a depth camera mounted on the drone. Moreover, the practical obstacle-avoidance performance of the proposed real-time route planning in an outdoor space is confirmed through a flight test.
