        Background: Articaine, a new amide-type local anesthetic, was recently commercially available in Korea. The purpose of this study was to compare the anesthetic efficacy between articaine HCl and lidocaine HCl for the surgical extraction of bilateral mandibular impacted third molars. Patients and Methods: Forty young and healthy patients with bilateral impacted third molars were selected with permission. Randomly, one side of impacted third molar was operated under local anesthesia using 4% articaine and the other side under 2% lidocaine after 1 or 2 week recovery time. Intraoperative pain was evaluated via 0-10 cm visual analog scale (VAS) by both the patient and operator immediately after the operation. After 1 day and 7 days, the complications of local anesthesia were checked. Results: The pain VAS scores in articaine group, evaluated by both the patient and operator, were lower than those in lidocaine group, but they were not statistically significant (P = 0.44 and 0.54, respectively). The incidence of complications of local anesthesia between articaine and lidocaine was similar. Conclusion: In this study, articaine showed at least equal efficacy compared to lidocaine. The further dose-controlled study with more pharmacokinetic parameters will be needed.

        국회 외부관계 기능의 다큐멘테이션 전략에 관한 연구

        기록관리의 가장 중요한 목표는 기록을 생산한 기관의 행정상의 책임과 기관의 역사를 다큐멘테이션 하는 데 있다. 이를 위해서 각 기관은 그 기관에서 다큐멘테이션 되어야 할 현상 및 증거의 종류와 가치를 결정하기 위한 계획의 입안, 즉 다큐멘테이션 전략을 수립할 필요가 있다. 이 글은 국회를 둘러싼 외부적 요소들과의 관계(외부관계)의 다큐멘테이션에 초점을 두고 그 필요성과 전략을 제시하려는 글이다. 문헌연구를 통해 의회의 외부관계 기능 및 그 기능과 관련된 주요 출처들을 도출하였고 그 출처에서 어떤 기록이 생산되는지 미국의 사례를 조사하고 한국 국회의 현황을 분석하였다. 이러한 분석을 기초로 하여 국회 외부관계 도큐멘테이션 전략으로서 다큐멘테이션 프로그램의 법규화, 수집정책, 다큐멘테이션을 위한 안내 및 홍보의 강화, 외부기관과의 협력 및 지원체계의 수립이라는 네 가지 요소를 제안하였다. The most important goal of records management is to document the administrative responsibility of the institution producing records and its history. For this purpose, each institution needs to make a plan determining kind and value of phenomena and evidences to be documented, that is, a plan for documentation. This study was aimed to present its necessity and stretagy, focussing on the documentation of correlations with external factors surrounding National Assembly (external relations). Through literature survey, external relation functions of congress and important sources associated with their functions were analyzed. and what records were produced from those sources was investigated in the case of U.S. Congress. Comparing with the present state of National Assembly on this basis, four significant subjects to activate the external relations documentation plan in the point of institutional policy of National Assembly were proposed : legislation of documentation program of external relations, acquisition policy, advocacy enforcement for National Assembly Documentation, and establishment of cooperation and support systems with external factors.

        국민임대아파트단지의 거주실태 및 커뮤니티의식 비교 연구

        The purpose of the study is to provide basic data to be useful for living environment of National Rental Housing, through comparative analysis of residential conditions, community consciousness of residents, characteristics of 3 complexes, whose residents have lived more than 3 years, different in area and size. Deungchon 11 Complex in Seoul, Eui-wang Naeson Complex, and Incheon Samsan 4 Complex are chosen for the investigation and the survey and 242 copies of the questionnaire are analyzed for the final result. Analyzing the contents of the survey results are as follows those deriving conclusions and suggestions. 1) Housing and construction standards are required to reconsider for enhancing of community consciousness and housing satisfaction of residents of National Rental Housing. 2) Spending on residential move, and minimize the unnecessary expense of low-income housing need to do to promote stability. 3) Facilities and equipments for residents are needed considering barrier-free design which introduces universal design. 4) Welfare facilities such as culture space and after-school classroom for teenagers are needed. 5) By using the broadcast media actively pro-mote, various layers are encouraged moving into National Rental Housing, through the concept of housing opportunities for change. 6) In short-term, community space are need remodeling and various activity programs are developed to induce activation of community facilities. In long-term, users considering a community facility plan, actively promoting activities, methods and operating system support for the government in the continuing policy and management is needed, when the National Rental Housing are planned to build. Therefore, the organic aspects such as the development and operation of the community program as well as the physical aspects such as the community space and facilities for the active community of the National Rental Housing are constantly considered in the follow-up studies.

        The classification of records is basically different from that of librarian materials because records have a nature of spontaneous and correlated product made during the process of work, as well as a value of proof and information. Hence the main task of archival management institute is to classify those records through the process of transfer and receipt for the purpose of reservation and utilization of their value. Therefore, the records should be classified by the manner, which reflects the function and organization of producing institute, and in turn, the principles of producing site and original record order should be maintained for this purpose. The characteristics of librarian materials and records and the tasks of management institutes form the basis of very different principles. The records can present the characteristics of producing institute and maintain the value made by the correlated nature as they are classified, managed and preserved by the above principles, In addition, it is known how and why they were produced and utilized, as well as they can be preserved in original form and effectively arranged, recorded and managed.

        Extraction of Phenolic Compounds from grape Seed Using Supercritical $CO_2$ and Ethanol as a Co-solvent

        A supercritical fluid extraction was performed for the extraction of phenolics from grape seeds which up to now have been discarded. The optimum condition for extraction process was predicted through response surface methodology using central composit experimental design. The extraction amount of grape seed phenolics was increased by increasing extraction temperature, pressure, and concentration of co-solvent (ethanol). The optimum extraction conditions were 84.83$^{\circ}$C, 51.50MPa and 1.27% ethanol. The yield of phenolics using SFE was higher with 3 folds than ethanol and 4 folds than hexane but less than 80% methanol. In the respects of food poisoning, the approved solvents were restricted to ethanol and hexane. So, SFE for extraction of phenolics could be powerful alternative method for solvent extraction.

        횡단경사면에서 지능형 보행보조로봇의 직진성 향상 방안 연구

        본 논문은 지능형 보행보조로봇이 횡단경사면주행에 있어 직진성 향상 알고리즘을 제안한다. 보행보조로봇은 횡단경사면주행시 로봇의 무게와 경사도에 의해 발생되어지는 회전모멘트의 영향을 받아 경로 이탈을 하게 된다. 이를 보정하기 위해 사용자가 입력하는 목표 회전각속도와 로봇의 회전각속도와의 비교를 통해 각 구동축에 가중치를 인가하는 알고리즘을 적용하였다. 제안한 보정 제어기를 실\제 보행보조로봇에 적용한 결과 횡단경사면 이동시 Yaw 축 이탈거리는 무보정 실험의 경우 발산하지만 Yaw 보정 알고리즘을 적용하였을 경우에는 이탈거리가 최대 20cm 이내로 안정적인 주행을 하는 것을 확인할 수 있었으며, 이탈거리 변화율 또한 300cm 이후 안정화되어 더 이상의 변화가 발생하지 않는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. In this paper, we propose the algorithm that improves the linearity of the walking assistant robot on lateral slopes. The walking assistant robot goes out of the course due to the rotational moment which is caused by the weight of the robot and the slope. To compensate this, we give the weight to each driving axle after comparing the real rotational angular velocity with the target rotational angular velocity which is entered by an user. The results of applying the algorithm to the real walking assistant robot show that the yaw axis deviation of the robot without the algorithm diverges, but the yaw axis deviation of the robot with the algorithm lies within 20cm, which can be recognized as stable. In addition, the changing rate of the course deviation is stabilized and shows no more course deviation, after moving 300cm.

        대기압 플라즈마 제트의 기체 유량에 대한 방전 특성

        The influence of gas flow on the plasma generation in the atmospheric plasma jet is described with the theory of hydrodynamics. The plasma discharge is affected by the gas-flow streams with Reynolds number (Re) as well as the gas pressure with Bernoulli's theorem according to the gas flow rate inserted into the glass tube. The length of plasma column is varied with the flow types such as the laminar flow of Re<2,000 and the turbulent flow of Re>4,000 as it has been known in a general fluid experiments. In the laminar flow, the plasma column length is increased as the increase of flow rate. Since the pressure in the glass tube becomes low as the increase of flow velocity by the Bernoulli's theorem, the breakdown voltage of plasma discharge is reduced by the Paschen's law. Therefore, the plasma length is increased as the increasing flow rate with the fixed operation voltage. In the transition of laminar and turbulent flows, the plasma length is decreased. When the flow becomes turbulent as the flow rate is increasing, the plasma length becomes short and the discharge is shut down ultimately. In the discharge of laminar flow, the diameter of plasma beam exposed on the substrate surface is kept less than the glass diameter, since the gas flow is kept to the distinct distance from the nozzle of glass tube. 대기압 플라즈마 제트 장치의 유량 변화에 대한 플라즈마 방전 특성을 실험적으로 조사하고 이를 유체역학적으로 해석하였다. 유리관에 주입되는 아르곤 기체의 유량 변화에 대한 레이놀즈 수(Re)로 결정되는 기체 흐름의 형태 변화와 베르누이 정리에 의한 압력 변화가 플라즈마 발생에 영향을 준다. 유리관 내부에 발생하는 플라즈마의 길이 변화의 실험을 통하여, 아르곤 기체에 대한 레이놀즈 수가 Re<2,000이면 층류이고, Re>4,000이면 난류가 형성된다. 이는 일반 유체에서 알려진 결과와 일치한다. 층류에서 유량의 증가로 플라즈마의 길이가 증가한다. 층류와 난류의 전환 영역에서 플라즈마의 길이는 줄어든다. 난류 영역에서는 방전 기체의 흐름이 불규칙함으로서 방전 경로가 흐트러져 플라즈마 칼럼의 길이가 매우 짧아지고 급기야 플라즈마가 소멸된다. 층류에서 주입 유량의 증가로 유리관 내의 유속이 증가하면, 베르누이 정리에 의하여 유리관 내부의 압력이 낮아진다. 관내의 압력이 낮아지면, 파센 법칙에 의하여 관내의 전기장의 세기가 증가하여 방전 전압이 낮아진다. 따라서 주입 유량이 증가하면, 동일한 구동 전압에서 유리관에 발생하는 플라즈마의 길이는 길어진다. 층류의 방전은 유리관 밖에서도 층류의 흐름이 일정 길이로 유지되므로 시료 표면에 조사되는 플라즈마 빔의 직경은 유리관의 직경 이하로 유지된다.

        제 1족근-중족관절 과운동성과 중등도 이상의 변형을 동반한 무지외반증에 대한 변형 Lapidus 술식의 결과

        Purpose: The objective of this study was to confirm the results of the modified Lapidus procedure on moderate to severe hallux valgus patients with first tarso-metatarsal joint hypermobility. Materials and Methods: A retrospective study was conducted on 42 cases of 35 patients who underwent the modified Lapidus procedure between March 2006 and December 2014. A comparative analysis was performed on the preoperative and postoperative subjective satisfaction of patients and radiologic index. Moreover, the correlation between the follow-up time and patient's operative satisfaction, as well as between the proficiency of the operator and patient's operative satisfaction was analyzed. Complications were also evaluated. Results: Out of the total of 35 patients, 3 were male and 32 were female. The mean age was 61.3 years (range, 34~79 years), and the mean follow-up time was 22.1 months (range, 6~90 months). The overall satisfaction level was 67.6% and the mean hallux valgus angle improved from preoperative $40.5^{\circ}$ to postoperative $12.2^{\circ}$ (p<0.001). The mean 1, 2 intermetatarsal angle improved from preoperative mean of $16.9^{\circ}$ to postoperative mean of $7.6^{\circ}$ (p<0.001), and the sesamoid position improved significantly, from preoperative 2.7 to postoperative 0.9 (p<0.001). Furthermore, there was no correlation between the follow-up time and the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS) hallux scale; also no correlation between the year the operation took place and the AOFAS hallux scale. In terms of complications, we observed screw irritation in 6 cases, hallux varus in 2 cases, and recurrence of hallux valgus and nonunion in one case. Conclusion: Contrary to our concerns, the level of complications was not high; however, the satisfaction level of patients was also not very high. Therefore, careful selecting of patients and sufficient consultation time is needed before surgery. In addition, since the causes of postoperative dissatisfaction still remain unclear, further studies are necessary.

        리좀 기반 온라인 창작 학습 모형

        목적 본고는 리좀적 창작의 과정을 수행하는 리좀 기반 온라인 창작 학습 모형을 마련하려는 시도다. 방법 먼저 현재의 창작 학습의 방식이 온라인 환경에서도 제대로 기능할 수 있는지의 문제를 검토하였다. 다음으로 리좀적 창작의 과정을 온라인 창작 학습의 기저 원리로 도입하는 문제를 검토하였다. 마지막으로 리좀적 창작을 수행하는 리좀 기반 온라인 창작 학습 모형이 어떻게 설계될 수 있는지 논구하였다. 결과 현재의 창작 학습의 방식은 온라인 창작 학습에 적절하지 않다는 점을 확인하였다. 리좀적 창작 과정의 도입은 온라인 창작 학습이 온라인의 이점을 활용하면서도 새로움의 창조라는 창작 활동의 본질을 구현할 수 있게 한다. 리좀 기반 온라인 창작 학습은 학습자들이 온라인상의 자료를 능동적으로 탐색·공유·누적하고, 이를 바탕으로 개인의 창작으로 나아가는 형태로 전개된다. 결론 리좀적 창작의 과정을 수행하는 리좀 기반 온라인 창작 학습 모형을 ‘연결하기’, ‘공유하기’, ‘모험하기’, ‘다시 모험하기’ 단계를 수행하게 하는 형태로 제안하였다. Objectives This study is an attempt to prepare a learning model for online creation by applying the process of rhizomal creation. Methods First, the problem of whether the current creative learning method can function properly in the online environment was examined. Next, the problem of introducing the process of rhizomal creation as a basic principle of online creative learning was examined. Finally, this paper discusses how a rhizome-based online creative learning model that performs rhizomal creation can be designed. Results It was confirmed that the current method of creative learning is not suitable for online creative learning. The introduction of the rhizomal creative process enables online creative learning to realize the essence of creative activity to create creations, while utilizing the advantages of online. The rhizome-based online creative learning proceeds in the form of learners actively exploring, sharing, and accumulating online contents, and based on this, they advance to individual creation. Conclusions A rhizome-based online creative learning model that performs the process of rhizomal creation was proposed in the form of performing the steps of ‘connecting’, ‘sharing’, ‘adventuring’, and ‘adventuring again’.
