개인적 사물(objet)을 통한 자아정체성에 관한 연구 : 본인 작품을 중심으로
인간은 태어나면서부터 사회의 구성원으로 소속되고, 끊임없이 타인과의 관계 속에서 성장해 나가는 사회적 존재이며 타인과의 관계를 통해서 자신의 자아를 형성해 나간다. 특히 풍요로운 물질과 다양한 자극이 넘쳐나는 현대 사회에서 외면과 형식에 대한 관심과 시선은 당연한 것으로 여겨진다. 그 결과 외면과 형식에 치우친 우리들의 삶은 상실감을 겪기도 한다. 본인의 작업은 이러한 현대인이 겪는 상실감을 극복하기 위해 내면을 탐구하고 진정한 자아를 탐색하여 표현하는 과정이라고 할 수 있다. 1장에서 작품형성의 이론적 배경인 칼 구스타프 융의 분석심리학과 페르소나의 개념에 대해 연구하였으며, 내면을 탐구하고 자아가 타인과의 관계 속에 존재하는 개인에 대한 개념을 은유를 활용한 상징적 표현연구를 통해 회화제작과정을 검토하면서 은유와 상징적인 이미지들이 갖는 본인의 회화작업의 내용들이 어떠한 의미가 있는지 연구해 보았다. 본 연구자의 작품에서 큰 축을 이루는 오토마티즘은 모든 관습적 기법이나 고정관념 , 이성에 의한 통제 없이 인간의 잠재의식 세계를 표출하기 위한 인간내면의 표현기법이다. 즉 가장 본질적 기능인 무의식의 표출이라고 할 수 있다. 2장에서는 연구자 본인의 작업에서 무의식을 의식화 하는 회화적 표현 방법으로 사용한, 오토마티즘의 형성배경과 특성을 연구하고 초현실주의와 추상표현주의 미술에 사용되는 오토마티즘 기법이 연구자의 작품에 어떻게 나타났는지 학문적 근거를 토대로 작품을 분석했다. 결론에서는 본론의 내용을 요약하고 작업의 의의와 한계점, 그리고 더 심도 있게 다루어야 할 앞으로의 연구과제와 작업 방향에 대해 고찰했다. 본인의 작업 속에 나타난 은유와 상징에 의해 조형화된 이미지들은 의식과 무의식이 상호적으로 연계되며 나타난 형태로서, 사회적 인격이 자아에 부여하고 있는 개념과 자기실현의 의미를 찾고 나아가 이러한 예술이 갖는 의의와 가치를 탐구해보았다 또한 연구자는 내면 깊숙한 곳에 위치한 여러 감정들을 심리학적 철학적 이론을 통해 보편적인 차원의 것으로 확장하고 내면을 탐구하고 자아표현방법을 분석하고 체계적으로 정리했다는 점에서 이 연구는 의의를 지닌다. 자아의 표현으로서 중요한 행위의 결과물인 회화는 인간들의 삶을 다양하게 보여 주며, 새로운 시각을 제시해 주는 매개체로서 예술의 역할을 한다. 또한 회화작품을 통해서 자아에 대한 나의 가치관을 세울 수 있었으며, 앞으로 삶을 살아갈 때 부딪힐 새로운 환경에 적응하게 도와줄 정신적 표현의 기회를 가지게 되었다. Human beings belong as members of society from birth, are a social being that constantly grows in relationships with others, and forms their own self through relationships with others. My work can be said to be a process of exploring my inner self as the subject of life and expressing my true self in relation to others. In Chapter 1, I studied Karl Gustav Jung's analytic psychology and the concept of persona, which is the theoretical background of the work formation, and the concept of an individual in which the ego exists in the relationship with others is studied through a study of symbolic expression using metaphors. While reviewing the production process, I studied what the metaphors and symbolic images have in my painting work. Automatism, which constitutes a major axis in the work of this researcher, is a technique of expression within humans to express the human subconscious world without any conventional techniques, stereotypes, or control by reason. In other words, it can be said to be the expression of the unconscious, which is the most essential function. In Chapter 2, we study the background and characteristics of automatism, which was used as a pictorial expression method to make the unconscious conscious in the researcher's own work. The work was analyzed based on academic grounds. In the conclusion, the contents of the main subject were summarized, and the significance and limitations of the work, and the future research tasks and directions of work to be dealt with in more depth were considered. The images formated by metaphors and symbols in my work are a form that appears as consciousness and unconsciousness are mutually linked, and the meaning of the concept and self-realization that the social personality gives to the self is searched. Furthermore, I explored the significance and value of this art. In addition, this study is significant in that the researcher expanded various emotions located deep inside into a universal dimension through psychological and philosophical theories, explored the inside, analyzed and systematically organized self-expression methods. Painting, which is the result of an important act as an expression of self, shows the lives of humans in various ways, and plays the role of art as a medium that presents new perspectives. In addition, through paintings, I was able to establish my sense of self-worth, and I had the opportunity to express mentally to help me adapt to the new environment I would encounter in my future life.
