Ampelopsis Radix is in use in oriental medicine. Oriental medical doctors use Ampelopsis Radix for clearing away heat and eliminating toxin(淸熱解毒), etc. We investigated toxicity, poisoning symptoms or side effects, poisoning treatment and prevention against poisoning of Ampelopsis Radix. The results were summarized as follows: 1. Side effects after taking Ampelopsis Radix mainly are skin rubefaction, itching, dizziness, nausea, and feeling heavy, etc. 2. In order to prevent against poisoning of Ampelopsis Radix, the patients should keep usage, dosage and notes.
센터필라 적용을 위한 이종 접합강의 충격 특성 해석에 관한 연구

본 연구에서는 레이저 TWB로 용접된 이종재료의 동적 특성에 대한 해석이 수행되었다. 해석프로그램은 Hyper works 10.0으로 Solver는 LS-DYNA v.971, 모델링 요소는 2D-Shell, 요소 수는 35,641개, 노드 수는 36,561개이다. 충격속도는 10 ㎞/h이다. 상ㆍ하부의 용접선 높이에 따르는 영향을 연구하기 위하여, 하부의 길이를 300 ㎜와 400 ㎜로 하였다. 얻어진 결론은 다음과 같다. 길이 300 ㎜인 하부 재료 SPFC980의 변형은 가장 작고, 충돌 흡수 에너지는 가장 크다. 하부 냉연강 기준으로 TWB의 위치가 짧을수록 성능이 우수하게 나타났다. 즉, 상대적으로 상부 고강도강인 SABC1470 재료가 차지하는 비율에 따라 성능이 좌우되었다. 하부 재료 SPFH590은 큰 변형이 나타났고, 충돌성능은 SPFC980보다 현저히 떨어졌다. 따라서 충돌 성능 해석 결과에서 하부 재료 SPFC980인 길이 300 ㎜가 가장 우수한 것으로 나타났다. This study was carried out to analyze the dynamic characteristics of laser tailor-welded blanks (TWBs) made of dissimilar materials. The analysis was performed using Hyper Works 10.0 with Solver LS-DYNA v.971. 2D-Shell was used as the modeling element, and the number of elements and nodes was 35,641 and 36,561, respectively. The impact speed was 10 ㎞/h. To analyze the impact characteristics according to the height of the weld line for the upper and lower parts of the center pillar, the length of the lower part was set as 300 and 400 ㎜. When the lower part was made of SPFC980 steel with a length of 300 ㎜, the deformation was the smallest and the absorbed energy of the impact force was the largest. On based the lower part of center pillar, the position of TWB shows the shorter and the better value. In other words, the performance depended on the proportion of the upper part made of high-strength SABC1470 steel. A lower part made of SPFH590 steel showed large deformation. In contrast, a lower part made of SPFC980 steel showed significantly lesser deformation. Therefore, the impact performance of a lower part made of SPFC980 steel with a length of 300 ㎜ showed the best analysis result.

Eastern medical doctors use Cynanchi Paniculati Radix for eliminating wind and dampness(祛風濕), etc. We investigated toxicity, poisoning symptoms, side effect, poisoning treatment and prevention against poisoning of Cynanchi Paniculati Radix. The results were summarized as follows: 1. The main ingredients of poisoning are paeonol, etc. The ingredients of poisoning from Cynanchi Paniculati Radix mainly cause the numbness of mouth, etc. 2. The representative methods of poisoning treatment are stopping taking medicine and symptomatic treatment, etc. 3. In order to prevent against poisoning and side effect of Cynanchi Paniculati Radix, the patients should keep usage, dosage and notes.
분무 열 분해법을 이용한 Zn<sub>2</sub>SiO<sub>4</sub> : Mn 나노 형광체의 광학적 특성에 관한 연구

PDP를 비롯한 형광체를 이용하는 디스플레이 분야에서 현재 마이크로미터($\mu}$-meter) 이상의 크기를 갖는 기존의 벌크(bulk) 형광체를 능가하는 성능과 새로운 물성을 나타내는 나노형광체(nanophosphor) 개발 및 응용에 대한 연구가 절대적으로 필요한 시점이다. 따라서 본 실험에서는 나노 사이즈의 평균 입자 크기를 갖는 구형의 $Zn_2SiO_4:Mn$ 형광체 입자를 초음파 분무열 분해(ultrasonic spray pyrolysis) 방법을 이용하여 합성하였다. 구형의 형광체 입자의 크기는 분무 장치의 droplet separator를 도입하여 조절하였다. 2 mol%의 망간을 도핑하여 합성한 $Zn_2SiO_4:Mn$ 입자는 시간이 지남에 따라 감소되고, 최근에 고상에서 합성하여 상용화된 물질에 비교할 수 있을 만한 빛 방출의 세기를 가졌다. 형광체 입자의 크기는 무기질 염의 농도가 0에서 5 M로 증가함에 따라 $1\;{\mu}m$에서 $0.2\;{\mu}m$로 감소하였다. 0.5 M 이상의 농도의 전구체 용액에서 얻어진 형광체 입자의 빛 방출은 상용화되어 있는 물질과의 비교를 통해 알아보았다. Spherical shape $Zn_2SiO_4:Mn$ phosphor particles with the mean particle size from submicron to micron sizes were prepared by ultrasonic spray pyrolysis method. A droplet separator was introduced to control the size distribution of the phosphor particles with spherical shape. The $Zn_2SiO_4:Mn$ phosphor particles with 2 mol% doping concentration of manganese have decay time and have photoluminescence intensities comparable with those of the latest commercial product prepared by the solid state reaction method. The size of the phosphor particles was decreased from 1 to 0.2 micrometers as the inorganic salt solution concentration was changed from 0 to 5 M. The phosphor particles prepared from the solutions above 0.5 M have photoluminescence intensities comparable with that of the latest commercial product.

This study is aimed to have a database of system development for the prediction, monitoring, analyzing, and evaluation of tensile strength and damage characteristics through AE technique for CFRP. Therefore the correlations between impact characteristics(such as impact velocity, impact energy, delamination area etc) and AE signals for CFRP laminates were investigated. And also it were accomplished the evaluation of tensile strength and the investigation on correlation with AE signals for impact damaged specimen of CFRP laminates.

Industry related project for a year to develope commercial model of 10 ㎾ dish-Stirling solar thermal power system by modifying possessed one was taken as the objectives. During this project, commercial solar tracking system, control and monitoring system, high durability reflector, and long term operation were performed. The commercial solar tracking system was tested for 4 months to investigate the degree of precision and adapted from October to the control system for an actual operation. Sun tracking accuracy of 3 mrad using modified control system adapted to the Dish-Stirling system was satisfied during the experimental period. The monitoring system displays temperature of receiver's rear plate, cooling water, oil, and etc., engine pressure, electric generation amounts, and generator RPM and weather data of Direct Normal Irradiation, Horizontal Global Insolation, wind speed & direction, and temperature. During 4 months from September to December, operating results had been stored as a excel file automatically. Experimental results of December 16th was selected and shown as a representative data. When DNI increased higher than 800 W/㎡, the solar-to-electric efficiency reached to about 20%. When DNI became 850 W/㎡, the 7 ㎾ power was generated. The solar to electricity efficiency can be reached to 19% under the DNI of 700 W/㎡ and increased to 20% when the constant DNI is over 900 W/㎡ As a results, the power generation trend as a function of DNI can be expressed a liner curve.

Granati Pericarpium is in use in Korean medicine. The Korean medical doctors use Granati Pericarpium for stopping diarrhea(止瀉) and destroying parasites and relieving itching(殺蟲止痒), etc. We investigated toxicity, poisoning symptoms, poisoning treatment and prevention against poisoning of Granati Pericarpium. The results were summarized as follows: 1. The main ingredients of poisoning are alkaloids, etc. The ingredients of poisoning from Granati Pericarpium mainly cause stimulating symptoms on digestive system, cardiovascular system, nervous system and part of eyes, etc. 2. The representative methods of poisoning treatment in western medicine are washing out the stomach, promotion of vomiting, washing out the stomach, supplies of grape sugar and symptomatic treatment, etc. 3. The representative methods of poisoning treatment in Korean medicine take advantage of herbs, such as Glycyrrhizae Radix(甘草), etc. And Korean medical doctors should meet symptoms as patients call for attention. 4. In order to prevent against poisoning of Granati Pericarpium, the patients should keep usage, dosage and notes.
