유아교육 정보화를 위한 시, 도별 지원 현황에 관한 연구

21세기 지식 정보화 시대를 맞아 교육인적자원부에서는 '교육정보화 촉진 시행계획'에 의거 초·중등 교육에서 교육과정의 정보화, 학교 정보 인프라 구축, 정보통신기술 활용 교육 강화, 교육정보 개발·보급 등의 사업을 적극적으로 추진해왔으나 유아교육은 국가의 교육정보화 사업에서 제외되어 유아교육에서의 정보화 실태는 초·중등 교육에 비해 상당히 뒤쳐져 있다. 본 연구에서는 각 시·도 교육청 자체 예산으로 이루어지고 있는 유아교육 정보화 사업 현황 및 유치원 교사 정보화 연수 현황 그리고 정보화 시범유치원 운영 현황을 비교 분석하여 봄으로써 전국 유아교육 정보화 활성화를 도모하고자 수행되었다. This study examines the current system of support for information-intensive education in early childhood education as provided by local offices of education, and suggests crucial initial steps toward developing responsible information-intensive education. After reviewing the literature on early childhood information-intensive education requirements, local office of education personnel and early childhood personnel were interviewed in order to address the following questions: 1) What financial support is provided by the local offices of education for information-intensive education? 2) What are the training requirements for teachers under the present system? 3) How many representative information-intensive kindergartens are there? Interview findings are: 1) The support of the ministry of education & human resources for the information-intensive education has not yet been planned. Only local offices of education support the information-intensive education financially. 2) Information-intensive education teacher training requirements are insufficient. For example, three local offices have no information-intensive education teacher training plans in place. 3) There are very few representative information-intensive education kindergartens. Those few which do exist developed the kind of teaching methods required for sound early childhood information-intensive education through CD-roms and the internet.
유아교육기관 평가 체제의 비교 분석 : NAEYC, OFSTED, NCAC 를 중심으로

우리 나라와는 달리 외국에서는 유아교육기관의 질적 발전을 도모하기 위한 다양한 노력이 전개되어왔다. 미국은 민간 전문 단체인 NAEYC(National Association for the Education of Young Children)를 중심으로 1986년부터 인준 평가 체제를 발전시켜왔고, 영국은 국가 기관인 OFSTED(Office for Standards in Education)가 주관하는 학교 평가를 1993년부터 실시하고 있으며 호주는 1994년부터 정부의 재정 지원을 받는 NCAC(National Childcare Accreditation Council)가 기관 평가를 실시하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 한국의 유아교육기관 평가 체제의 마련을 위해 NAEYC, OFSTED, NCAC의 평가 체제를 비교 분석하였다. This study compares and analyzes the early childhood education evaluation systems of NAEYC, OFSTED and NCAC in terms of their evaluation goals, evaluation programs, validators, evaluation process, evaluation criteria and the use of evaluation results. Based on the results of analyzing the evaluation system of NAEYC, OFSTED and NCAC, this study suggests the directions for an evaluation system for early childhood education in Korea: 1) for implementing an evaluation system, independent organizations such as OFSTED and NCAC would be more efficient than the supervisory office. 2) the main purpose of the evaluation system should focus on supporting the staffs who make themselves responsible for the quality of the program. 3) validators should be highly qualified and need to complete take periodic refresher courses. 4) the self-study should be the central element of the evaluation process. Undertaking a self-study implies a voluntary commitment to self-evaluation and self-improvement. 5) evaluation results should be open in detail to the public via the internet. In this way, the validators will be automatically be more accountable. 6) parent paticipation in the process of the evaluation should be promoted. Parents are the best source of information about how well evaluation criteria are met.

The education and care systems for young children have developed steadily for last ten decades in behalf of publicity. Though the legalistic and administrative support systems have almost accomplished, the financial support systems are still insufficient for publicity. For the publicity establishment of early childhood education and child care systems, private kindergartens and child care centers need both government financial support and deliberate concerns and efforts about the quality management of these institutes in the view of social responsibility. In consequence of this study, the following suggestions are proposed for the publicity establishment of early childhood education and child care care systems First, leading private kindergartens to body corporate Second, clear accounting management of private kindergartens For the establishment of social responsibility of early childhood education and child care systems, First, the self-efforts for the quality management Second, by the level of quality management, graded financial support. Third, the soon enforcement of the kindergarten accreditation

PRACTICAL DAMPER VELOCITY ESTIMATION FOR SEMI-ACTIVE SUSPENSION CONTROL

Semi-active suspensions have much better performance than the passive suspensions along with the advantages such as low power consumption and cost. In order to control the semi-active suspension system, such as MR damper, sensory feedback is required. The skyhook control which is the most widely used algorithm admits the velocity of damper and vertical sprung mass. For this, additional attachment, such as a displacement sensor (e.g., an LVDT) or an accelerometer at the sprung mass is required. The present study proposes a method for estimating the damper speed from a pre-existing IMU sensor and a lower damper accelerometer considering the damper orientation in practice. It was validated that the performance of the skyhook-controlled suspension matches with the proposed algorithm.
