In this study, to make an excellent heat pipe, the manufacturing technology of a sintered wick was investigated. Making a sintered wick is known to be very difficult but it has many advantages. For example, the porosity and pore size can be controlled and the capillary force is great. The mixture of copper and pore former powder was used as a wick material and ceramic-coated stainless steel was used as a mandrel which is necessary for vapor flow. To analyze the feature of the manufactured wick, not only porosity and pore size were measured but also the sintered structure was observed. A heat pipe with sintered wick was manufactured and the performance test of the heat pipe was performed in order to review cooling performance. The performance test results for the 4mm diameter heat pipe with the sintered wick shows the stability since the temperature difference between a evaporator and a condenser of the heat pipe is less than 4.4$^{\circ}C$, and thermal resistance is less than 0.7$^{\circ}C$/W, In the meantime the composite wick that is composed with sintered and woven wire was also examined. The heat transfer limit of the heat pipe with composite wick was enhanced about 51%~60% compare to the one with sintered wick.

스트레스와 성격요인이 수면에 미치는 영향

목 적:스트레스와 성격적 요인이 수면에 여러가지 다양한 영향을 미친다는 것은 최근까지 많이 연구되어 왔다. 그러나 스트레스와 성격요인 그리고 수면 이 세가지 요소간의 연관성과 서로간의 영향에 대한 연구는 없었던 것이 사실이다. 본 연구는 스트레스와 성격요인이 수면에 어떠한 영향을 주는지, 또한 이들 사이에 어떠한 연관성을 가지는지를 연구하고자 하였다. 방 법:건강한 남녀대학생 174명을 대상으로 스트레스와 수면상태, 성격 특성 등을 평가하기 위하여 스트레스 평가 척도(K-DSI)와 평소 수면평가지(modified PSQI), 성격요인검사(16 PF)를 작성하도록 하였다. 이 밖에 주관적인 우울, 불안의 정도도 조사하였다. 이들의 서로간의 연관성을 밝히기 위한 통계방법으로 기술분석, 피어슨 상관분석, 위계적 다중회귀분석, 경로분석 등을 이용하였으며 SPSS ver. 10.0과 AMOS 4.0을 사용하였다. 결 과:스트레스는 비회복적 수면으로 인한 증상들(기상 시 증상, 주간 증상 등)에 유의한 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 성격요인 중에서는 죄책감 요인(O 요인), 자아강도 요인(C 요인)과 불안감 요인(Q4 요인)이 비회복적 수면으로 인한 증상들과 높은 상관관계를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 우울과 불안 총점과 스트레스, 성격 사이에는 매우 높은 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 경로분석 상에서는 스트레스와 성격요인이 감정반응을 매개로 하여 수면에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 결 론:본 연구를 통하여 스트레스가 다른 수면의 요소들보다 비회복 수면으로 인한 이차증상들에 크게 영향을 미친다는 것을 알 수 있었으며, 이는 수면의 회복 기능 효과를 감소시키기 때문인 것으로 여겨진다. 또한 자아강도가 약하고 죄책감이 많으며 높은 불안감을 가진 성격이 스트레스에 취약하며, 다양한 성격특성과 그에 따른 대처방식의 차이, 여러가지 스트레스 사건, 그리고 이에 대한 감정반응들이 복합적으로 수면에 영향을 미치는 것으로 생각된다. Objectives: The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of stress and personality on sleep patterns, and further, to identify potential correlations between stress and personality characteristics. Methods: A total of 174 healthy college students were subjects for this study. Participants filled out the Daily Stress Inventory before sleep and the Modified Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index after sleep on three consecutive days. They also filled out the 16 Personality Factor Questionnaire (16-PF), BDI (Beck Depression Inventory) and STAI (State-Trait Anxiety Inventory). Results: Minor stresses highly correlated with subjective sleep quality and symptoms of non-restorative sleep. However, total sleep time, sleep latency, awakening frequency, and frequency of dreams were not explained by stress scores. The O (guilty feeling), C (low ego strength) and Q4 (high anxiety) factors of the 16-PF also highly correlated with symptoms of non-restorative sleep and significantly affected sleep patterns. BDI and STAI scores also correlated with the above personality factors and minor stresses. Conclusion: This study showed that minor stresses impaired the restorative effects of sleep. Personality characteristics such as low ego strength, high levels of anxiety, and feelings of guilt were vulnerable to minor stresses. Minor stress, various personality characteristics, different coping patterns, and emotional response are highly correlated with each other and affect sleep patterns.

대학생의 자기표현 글쓰기를 위한 자전소설 쓰기 교육 연구

자기표현 글쓰기는 학습자가 정체성을 형성할 수 있는 기회를 제공하고, 과거에 대한 성찰, 현재에 대한 진단, 미래에 대한 탐색을 가능하게 하며, 글쓰기에서 자신만의 개성을 찾을 수 있도록 한다는 교육적 가치를 지닌다. 다양한 자기표현의 글 중에서도 자전소설은 허구성을 통해서 글쓴이가 부담 없이 자신의 이야기를 털어놓을 수 있도록 하고, 인간의 기억이 지닌 불완전성을 반영하며, 삶의 경험이 많지 않고 글쓰기 능력이 미숙한 학생 필자들이 선택하기에 적합한 텍스트이다. 본고에서는 기성 작가들의 자전소설을 분석하여 자전소설 쓰기의 내용과 방법을 제시하였다. 자전소설 쓰기의 내용에서는 학습자가 자신의 삶을 회상하고 성찰할 수 있는 매개의 선택이 중요하다고 보고, 회상과 성찰의 매개로 글쓴이의 삶에 중요한 영향을 미친 사건, 장소, 타인, 관심사를 제시하였다. 자전소설 쓰기의 방법은 학습자가 자전소설을 쓰고 다른 학습자와 소통하는 과정을 중심으로, 서술자아와 경험자아의 관계를 설정하는 ‘자기 자신과의 대화’, 자신의 소설이 실제로 읽힐 것을 대비하여 사실과 허구 사이를 길항하고 시점과 형식을 선택하는 예상 독자와의 대화’, 동료 학습자와 함께 서로가 쓴 자전소설을 읽으면서 경험의 공동체를 형성하는 ‘실제 독자와의 대화’로 구체화하였다.

현대시 교육을 위한 직유의 심미적 표현 효과 연구

Understanding literary expressions such as metaphor, simile, metonomy, synecdoche and symbol is related to understanding principles of recognizing and thinking about the world. This paper especially pays attention to simile that had been undervalued as a low-level metaphor. Moon Tae Jun’s works are classic examples that demonstrate beauty and creativity of simile. First, in his works, simile describes an equal world by not identifying the tenor with the vehicle and reversing the hierarchy of them. Second, based on its orientation from the tenor to the vehicle, simile gives variability and dynamics to the work. Third, simile creates vital expressions by using predicate that mediates the tenor and the vehicle. In order for the development of students’ cognition and reason in literary education, aesthetic effects of various literary expressions should be identified. The development of literary competence would be directly related to the development of general linguistic competence. 문학교육에서 은유, 직유, 환유, 제유, 상징을 비롯한 다양한 문학적 표현과 그 심미적 효과를 다루어야 하는 이유는 문학적 표현을 이해하는 일이 세계를 인식하고 사유하는 원리를 이해하는 일과 직결되기 때문이다. 본고에서는 다양한 문학적 표현 중에서도 수준 낮은 비유로 평가절하되어 왔던 직유의 표현 효과에 주목하였다. 직유는 원관념과 보조관념의 유사성을 제시하면서도, 두 대상을 매개어를 통해 결합시킨다는 점에서 온전히 일치시키지는 않는다. 이와 같은 직유의 특징은 작품에 은유로는 표현되지 않는 독특한 심미적 효과를 부여한다. 특히 문태준의 작품에서 직유는 시적 대상을 수단화하지 않는 수평적 세계관, 원관념에서 보조관념으로의 지향을 바탕으로 한 가변성과 역동성을 표현하고, 술어 작용의 긴장력을 토대로 생산적인 표현을 만들어내는 고유한 독창성과 심미성을 지닌다. 문학적 표현은 교육의 장에서 장식적 기교나 기술이 아니라 세계를 이해하고 표현하는 원리로 다루어져야 한다. 이를 위해서는 문학적 표현 효과에 대한 구체적인 규명과, 수준별로 위계화된 교육 내용의 마련이 선행되어야 한다. 문학 언어를 이해하고 해석하는 능력의 발달은 곧 일상적인 언어 및 사유 능력의 발달을 가능하게 할 것이다.

시적인 영화를 통한 영상 매체 시대의 시 교육

In an era when visual media exerts more power in the public than print media, poetry education needs to seek various changes while continuing traditional education. Especially, I pay attention to the cinema that is considered ‘poetic.’ The poetic cinema can be defined as a cinema that has the mood, emotion and expression of poetry. In order to identify the characteristics of the poetic cinema, the characteristics of the ‘poetic’ must be defined. A representative characteristic of the poetry distinguished from the narrative genre is that it pays attention to the moment. The focus on the moment makes the text of poetry short. And as the length is short, poetry consists of efficient expressions that convey many meanings in less words. Therefore, poetry is characterized by speaking through silence, using metaphors to imply deep contemplation, and creating rhythms to express the delicate atmosphere. Accordingly, the characteristics of poetic cinema include making the audience think for themselves through silence, deriving new meanings through figurative expressions of montage technique, and forming rhythms through repetition and variation. When we define a poetic cinema as a cinema that utilizes silence, metaphors and rhythms, poetic moments can be experienced when a cinema uses silence rather than words, uses metaphors rather than directness, and creates rhythmic movements. In this paper, I analyze <First Cow>, <AFTER YANG> and <Paterson> to embody the poetic moments when the audience thinks on their own through silence, recognizes new meanings through montage, and feels rhythm through repetition and variation. Presenting poems can be an appropriate help for learners when they interpret the expressions of the poetic cinema, because poems are the texts that learners appreciate more often in the educational field and they show the most sophisticated and beautiful examples using silence, metaphors and rhythms. The ultimate goal of poetry education is to make learners think not only about the texts but also about the life and the world in their creative way. If learners can appreciate various visual media in a poetic way, they can learn unique perspectives of the life and the world in various ways. The exploration of poetic cinema can be an attempt to expand the realm of poetry education and a search for various possibilities of cinema education. 인쇄매체보다 영상매체가 대중적으로 강력한 힘을 발휘하는 시대, 시 교육은전통적인 교육을 계속하면서도 다양한 변신을 모색할 필요가 있다. 본고에서는다양한 특성과 개성을 지닌 영화들 중에서도 시적이라는 평가를 받는 영화들에주목하였다. 시적인 영화는 시의 정취와 정서, 표현 방법을 공유하는 영화, 시적인 것이 영화로 구현된 작품으로 정의할 수 있다. 시적인 영화의 특성을 규명하기 위해서는 시적인 것을 구성하는 핵심적인 특성에 대한 검토가 선행되어야 할것이다. 서사와 구분되는 시의 대표적인 속성으로는 순간에 주목한다는 점을 들 수있다. 순간에 대한 집중은 시를 필연적으로 짧은 텍스트로 만들고, 길이가 짧은만큼 시는 적은 말로 많은 의미를 전달하는 효율적인 표현으로 구성된다. 그래서 시는 침묵을 통해서 말하고 비유를 활용해서 긴 사색이 필요한 통찰을 제시하며 리듬을 조성해서 섬세한 분위기를 전달한다는 특징을 갖는다. 이에 대응하는 시적인 영화의 특성으로는 침묵과 여백을 통해서 관객이 스스로 사유하도록 하고, 몽타주의 비유적 표현을 통해서 새로운 의미를 도출하며, 반복과 변주를 통해서 리듬을 형성한다는 점을 제시할 수 있다. 시적인 영화를 침묵, 비유, 리듬을 활용하는 영화라고 정의할 때, 영화를 통해 만나는 시적인 순간이란 영화가 말보다는 침묵을, 직설보다는 비유를 활용할 때, 작품 내에 리드미컬한 움직임을 만들어낼 때라고 할 수 있다. 본고에서는 <퍼스트 카우>, <애프터 양>, <패터슨> 이렇게 세 편의 영화를 분석하여 침묵을 통해서 관객이 스스로 사유하고, 몽타주를 통해서 새로운 의미를 도출하며, 반복과변주를 통해서 리듬을 느끼는 순간을 구체화하고자 하였다. 이와 같은 영화의표현 기법과 그 의미를 해석하도록 할 때 시 텍스트를 제시하는 것은 학습에 적절한 도움이 될 수 있다. 시는 학습자들이 교육 현장에서 더욱 자주 접하는 제재이고, 침묵, 비유, 리듬을 활용한 가장 정교하고도 아름다운 사례들을 보여주기 때문이다. 시 교육의 궁극적인 목표는 시적 탐구의 결과를 바탕으로 텍스트를, 나아가삶과 세계를 독창적으로 사유하도록 하는 데에 있을 것이다. 오늘날 학습자들이적극적으로 향유하는 매체인 영화를 비롯한 다양한 영상 매체를 시적인 방식으로 감상하게 할 수 있다면, 삶과 세계를 참신하게 사유하는 관점과 태도를 다양한 방식으로 배우게 할 수 있다. 시적인 영화에 대한 탐구는 시 교육의 외연 확장의 시도이자 영화 교육의 다양한 가능성의 모색이 될 수 있을 것이다.

Right-Angle-Bent CPW for the Application of the Driver-Amplifier-Integrated 40 Gbps TW-EML Module

In this letter we present a right-angle-bent coplanar waveguide (CPW) which we developed for the application of the driver amplifier-integrated (DAI) 40 Gbps traveling wave electroabsorption modulated laser module. The developed CPW realized parallel progression of the radio frequency (RF) and light using a dielectric overlay structure and wedge bonding on the bending section. The measured S11 and S21 of the developed CPW were kept below –10 dB up to 35 GHz and –3 dB up to 43 GHz, respectively. These measured results of the CPW were in good agreement with the simulation results and demonstrated the applicability of the CPW to the 40 Gbps communication module.

국가수준 학업성취도 평가의 시 교육 평가틀 연구 - 2015~2019년 중학교 학업성취도 평가를 중심으로 -

This study analyzed the National Assessment Educational Achievement(NAEA) for middle school students that was conducted between 2015 and 2019 to discuss problems and improvement of the assessment framework of poetic education. I selected three achievement standards that are frequently presented as assessment items for poetic education. By analyzing items based on these standards, I suggest the following points. First, items are needed to identify the role and location of the speaker and deal with changes in the work according to the speaker’s positions. Second, items that gauge learners’ understanding of literary knowledge more precisely are needed. I also propose that literary knowledge needs to be described more systematically in the curriculum. Third, learners should be given the opportunity to interpret works in different ways by solving the items. Additionally, I analyzed two achievement standards that were not presented as items for poetic education and items based on them. Through this analysis, I suggest that achievement standards should be addressed more clearly and not be duplicated. Various genres of literature should be presented in a balanced way. I also argue that we need to think about whether we can evaluate the ability to create works and we should evaluate it in NAEA. Achievement standards of NAEA should be established considering the differences in achievement standards of curriculum.

Tuned Optical Reflection Characteristics of Chemically-Treated Ti Substrates

Titanium foils for use in photoelectrochemical devices are treated with a HNO_3-HF solution. After this treatment, the optical reflection characteristics of the Ti substrates are markedly increased in terms of not only reflectivity but also optimized wavelength. Furthermore, the “multiple beam interference” theory and optical analysis of surface morphologies clearly verify the origin of the optimized optical reflection properties.
