This experiment was carried out for the determination of the optimal breeding density of rainbow trout(Oncorhynchus mykiss) and environmental conditions in semi-closed recirculation system. Since under the conditions of various research programmes, comparable trout origins rank differently, it must be supposed that genotype-environment interaction can occur under different stress situation (e. g. different density/PVC rearing unit). Thus, control of test environment of utmost importance both for performance testing and for breeding decisions. The recirculation system consists of 35 single PVC-cylinder with a water volume of 80 litre, respectively. In this experiment water renewal was lOm^3/day and density 75∼400 fries or fingerlings in each cylinder. The concentration of ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and pH were measured weekly during the experiment . The final fish: water ratio was 1: 18.6(or 150kg live body weight per 2.8m^3 water), Water temperature(9±1˚C), the values of pH(7.3∼7.8), the concentration of ammonia(0.1∼1.Oppm), nitrate(15∼20ppm), total nitrogen(8.7∼9.8ppm), and phosphate(0.3∼2.Oppm) were within the safe range. The feed efficiency was better than any other domestic animal and was 1.46. The mortality was 5.6%, and the optimal stocking density was considered to be 200fish/cylinder It can be concluded that the breeding experiments implemented at the aquacultural test station, except for the beginning phase of each test, have not been affected by environmental factors.

A new vertical power MOSFET with over-current protection capability is proposed. The MOSFET consists of main power MOSFET cell, sensing MOSFET cell and lateral npn bipolar transistor. The proposed MOSFET may be fabricated by a conventional DMOS process without any additional fabrication step. Overcurrent state is sensed by the newly designed lateral bipolar transistor. Mixed-mode simulations proved that the overcurrent protection is achieved by the proposed MOSFET successfully with a small protection area less than 0.2 % of the total die area.
틸라피아의 해수순치에 관한 생리학적 연구 I. 내분비학적 변화

This study was taken to examine external changes, behavioral changes, and endocrine changes such as estradiol-17$\beta$, progesterone, T4 and T3 of female Oreochromis niloticus living in 0$\textperthousand$, 10$\textperthousand$, 20$\textperthousand$, and 30$\textperthousand$ salt concentrations, respectively. The results obtained in these experiments were summarized as follows. In seawater obtained in these experiments were summarized as follows. In seawater challenge test, any fish didn't die in each group such as 10$\textperthousand$, 20$\textperthousand$ and 30$\textperthousand$. When fish were adapted from 0$\textperthousand$ to 10$\textperthousand$, 20$\textperthousand$ and 30$\textperthousand$, external body color of fish changed from dark-striped to light-grey color. At the same time, thyroxine and triiodothyronine concentrations significantly(P<0.05) increased, and then were at the highest level in 30 salinity. When fish were adapted from 0$\textperthousand$ to 10$\textperthousand$, feed intake of fish started from the fourth day. From 0$\textperthousand$ to 10$\textperthousand$, 20$\textperthousand$ and 30$\textperthousand$, estradiol-17$\beta$ levels were increased gradually. When fish was adapted from 0$\textperthousand$ to 10$\textperthousand$, 20$\textperthousand$ and 30$\textperthousand$, the levels of each progesterone didn't show significant change, and especially showed the lowest peak in 20$\textperthousand$. The greatest thyroxine activity(T4) was observed in 30$\textperthousand$. The levels of and triiodothyronine(T3) significantly changed in all salinities, and its level was at the highest peak in 30$\textperthousand$ salinity. Correlation coefficients between serum progesterone and triiodothyronine in 10$\textperthousand$ and 30$\textperthousand$ were +0.677 and +0.843, respectively. Correlation coefficient of serum thyroxine(T4) and triiodothyronine(T3) individuals in 10$\textperthousand$ was +0.768, and +0.843, respectively.
Genetic Differences and Geographic Variation in Cuttle Fish (Sepia esculenta Hoyle)

The gDNA isolated from Korean cuttle fish (Sepia esculenta Hoyle) from Sockcho (SOCKCHO), Seocheon (SEOCHEON), Incheon (INCHEON) and Vietnamese cuttle fish (VIETNAM), were amplified by PCR. Here, the seven selected primers (BION-A07, BION-A09, BION-A11, BION-A20, BION-B04, BION-B06, and BION-B14) were used to generate the unique shared loci to each population and shared loci by the four cuttle fish populations. In this study, the primer BION-A11 detected 112 shared loci by the four populations, major and/or minor fragments of sizes 300 bp, 400 bp, 700 bp and 1,000 bp, respectively, which were identical in all samples. The dendrogram obtained by the seven primers indicates five genetic clusters: cluster 1 (SOCKCHO 01-SOCKCHO 07), cluster 2 (SEOCHEON 08-SEOCHEON 10), cluster 3 (SEOCHEON 11-SEOCHEON 14), cluster 4 (INCHEON 15-INCHEON 21), and cluster 5 (VIETNAM 22-VIETNAM 28). The shortest genetic distance that displayed significant molecular differences was between individuals 25 and 26 from the Vietnamese cuttle fish (0.025), while the longest genetic distance among the twenty-eight cuttle fishes that displayed significant molecular differences was between individuals SOCKCHO no. 02 and SEOCHEON no. 12 (0.640). Individual of Seocheon and Incheon cuttle populations was somewhat closely related to that of Vietnamese cuttle fish population. Even though it could not be affirmed by a single case, such a result seems to be closely connected that the Korean peninsula is subject to climate changes by global warming. In conclusion, our PCR analyses revealed a significant genetic distance among the four cuttle fish populations.
