암 치료 시 발생하는 증상 및 부작용은 즉각적인 모니터가 필요한 영역으로, 최근 디지털헬스 시장의 성장과 다양한 의료 영역에서 모바일 중재 효과를 바탕으로 환자 중심의 ‘암환자 증상 모니터 어플리케이션’을 구현하였다. 그러나 암과 같은 대부분의 만성 질환은 정보의 취약 계층인 중년 및 노인에게 발생하여 모바일의 적극적인 활용과 적용에 대한 제한이 있어 왔다. 더불어 단순한 건강 지식을 넘어 증상 관련 정보를 이해할 수 있는 ‘건강 정보 이해능력(health literacy)’과 모바일에 대한 개념과 용어, 기술 수행 및 이를 처리하는 능력, 즉 디지털 리터리시(digital literacy)에 대한 통찰이 함께 필요하지만 현재까지 국내외 연구는 미흡한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 실제 임상에서 암환자에게 증상 및 부작용 모니터를 효율적으로 도입하기 위해 ‘모바일 어플리케이션’에 대한 수행도를 확인하였고, 모바일 리터리스(mobile literacy)를 함께 탐색하였다.

21세기를 살아가는 사람들에게 ‘스트레스’는 매우 친숙한 단어일 것이다. 스트레스는 현대인과 뗄 수 없는 문제라고 하지만, 사실 우리는 인류 역사 전반에 걸쳐 스트레스와 함께 싸우고 공존하며, 또 발전해 왔다. 인간은 모두 크고 작은 스트레스를 지니고 있고 그 이유도 각각 다르다. 일생 동안 나 자신과 정신적 압박감 사이의 끝없는 주도권 줄다리기는 계속될 것이며 평생 해결할 수 없는 숙제일 것이다. 인간과 스트레스의 공생은 인류의 불가피한 숙명이라고 볼 수 있다. 스트레스 반응 단계 (2021,06,06). 아산병원 공식블로그 [웹사이트]. https://blog.naver.com/asanmh450/222117521796 통상적으로 스트레스란 부정적인 것으로만 인식되지만 긍정적인 스트레스도 있다는 것을 간과해서는 안된다. 이를 eustress 라고 하는데 기분 좋은 설렘과 기쁨으로 인한 흥분 등이 대표적이며 이때 우리 신체는 각성상태가 되어 오히려 집중력이 향상되고 업무의 효율이 높아진다. 우리 삶의 성취욕을 높여주고 질병의 저항력이 올라가기도 한다. 본 연구자는 부정적이거나 긍정적인, 각각의 개인에게 다양한 의미로 수용되는 스트레스라는 단어의 표현방법에 대해 고민하는 과정에서 스트레스에 의해 인간이 쥐어짜지는 형태를 떠올렸다. 추상적이고 관념적인 개념인 ‘스트레스’를 가시화하기 위해 ‘쥐어짜다(Squeeze)’라는 키워드로 도출한 것이다. 또한, 이와 같은 개념은 원근감과 색의 착시를 바탕으로 시각적 긴장감과 흥분을 자아내는 예술의 한 형태인 ‘옵아트(Optical-Art)’와 일맥상통한다고 보고, 이를 적용하여 스트레스를 스퀴즈 형태로 표현할 것이다. 이렇게 만들어진 각각의 개체들을 모티프화 하여 레귤러, 올오버 등 패턴디자인의 다양한 형식에 적용하고자 한다. 이를 패션과 인테리어의 두 가지 범주에 속하는 다양한 제품군에 최적화하기 위해 가상이미지화 하고, 궁극적으로는 패턴디자인을 실제 프로덕트에 적용하는 데에 목표가 있다. In this work, we derive the keyword Squeeze to visualize the abstract and ideological concept of stress in various meanings for each individual. It will also express the squeeze form through Optical-Art , a form of art that evokes illusion through visual fatigue. Each of these objects will be motifed and applied to various forms of pattern design, such as regular and all-over. It is aimed at mapping and optimizing this to various product lines in two categories, fashion and interior, and ultimately applying pattern design to real-world products by deriving accurate figures.

A castrated male, 4-year old, Dachshund weighing 5.3 kg with an acute history of anorexia, vomiting, severe depression, and hypothermia for 1 day was referred. Severe leukopenia, mild increased hepatic enzymes, and mild imbalanced electrolyte were found on laboratory tests. There are no remarkable findings on abdominal radiographs. Ultrasonography showed multifocal heterogeneous and hypoechoic round regions in the liver. Ultrasound guided fine needle aspiration and drainage were performed and hepatic abscess was diagnosed. The patient was recovered normally without any complications through aggressive medical treatments from the result of culture and sensitivity test.

Portosystemic shunt (PSS) was diagnosed in 43 dogs by mesenteric portogram from January, 2002 to June 2007 in Haemaru referral animal hospital. PSS was found in various breeds including Maltese, Miniature Schnauzer and Yorkshire Terrier and there was no predisposition in gender. In laboratory parameters, mean cell volume was lower than normal value in single shunt and alanine aminotransferase was higher than normal range in multiple shunts with clinical significance. Cystic calculi were found in over 50% dogs with PSS and even in 70.8% dogs with single shunt. In 81% dogs with PSS, extrahepatic single shunt such as portocarval type and portoazygous type was identified. Extrahepatic multiple shunt and intrahepatic single shunt were observed in 4 dogs, respectively. Gradual attenuation using ameroid constrictor was applied to 35 dogs with extrahepatic single shunt and the prognosis of these dogs were good except two dogs, which showed poor prognosis because of acquired multiple PSS and renal disease unrelated with PSS, respectively.

Gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST) is one of the mesenchymal tumors originated from gastrointestinal submucosa. A 10 year-old, male, mixed breed dog with persistent diarrhea, anorexia and lethargy was referred to Haemaru Animal Referral Hospital. Large mass originated from the transverse colon was observed and large amount of ascites and free gas were found on abdominal radiography and ultrasonography. The ascites was septic exudate mixed with bacteria that consisted with intestinal perforation. There was no metastatic lesion. This mass was tentatively diagnosed as adenocarcinoma, leiomyosarcoma (LMS) and lymphosarcoma and surgical resection and histilogical examination were planned. However, according to owner's request, the patient was euthanized and then the necropsy was performed. About 10 cm sized mass originated from the cecum, ascending colon and transverse colon was adhered to surrounding mesentery and the perforation and large amount of ascites were observed. GIST was suspected on histopathologic examination and confirmed according to CD 117 expression in immunohistochemistry. GIST, derived from interstitial cells of Cajal, can be distinguished from LMS and leiomyoma (LM) on the basis of expression of CD117 (KIT) immunohistochemically. GIST has a different biological behavior and clinical course compared with LMS and LM, therefore definite diagnosis for GIST using immunohistochemistry is clinically important to predict the precise prognosis of the patient.

프랙탈을 활용한 바이오필릭 텍스타일 디자인 연구

현대인에게 실내 환경은 ‘내가 머무는 장소’에서 나아가 에너지를 재충전하고 여가시간을 보내는 ‘내 자아를 위한 공간’이다. 현대인들의 과다한 스트레스에 주목하여 자연으로부터 얻는 에너지를 통해 정서적 안정을 추구하는 방법의 일환으로서 바이오필리아 이론을 활용한 바이오필릭 텍스타일 디자인을 제시하고자 한다. 텍스타일 디자인 분야는 패션과 인테리어 등 일상적인 영역에 속해있는 분야로서 사용자에게 가까운 곳에서 영향을 미친다. 일상에 속한 사물들은 우리의 무의식적 영역에서 빈번하게 영향을 주며 정신과 육체에 영향을 미치는 적합한 이미지에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 본고에서는 바이오필리아 이론의 주창자인 에드워드 윌슨의 저서 ‘바이오필리아’에서 키워드를 찾고 그것의 상징적 이미지로서 프랙탈 패턴을 제시하였다. 또한 미술치료 분야에서 프랙탈을 바라보는 관점을 통해 그것이 바이오필릭 텍스타일 디자인의 패턴으로서 기능할 수 있는 가능성을 확인하였으며 그 예시를 제시하였다. This paper presented a biophilic design using the biophilia theory in that way, and Among them, the purpose was to study the application of textile design. Textile design is a field that belongs to everyday areas such as fashion and interior, and affects users closely. Objects belonging to everyday life are unconsciously recognized and therefore need to be studied on suitable images that affect the mind and body. I found keywords in Edward Wilson s book BioPhilia, and presented fractal patterns as a symbolic image of it. It also identified the possibility of functioning as a biophilic textile design through the view of fractals in art therapy and presented examples.

A neutered male, 8-year-old, Pekingese, weighing 4.3 kg with a history of anorexia, sneezing, nasal discharge, and epistaxis for one month was referred. Soft tissue swelling around the nasal bone and small defects of the hard palate with a tiny round dark red mass were found on physical examination. The laboratory tests represented mild leukocytosis. On skull radiographs, soft tissue swelling and osteolytic change of the incisor bone, nasal bone, and maxilla were found. On computed tomography scan images, there was soft tissue attenuating opacity with calcified spots in the bilateral nasal cavities and frontal sinuses. Loss of nasal turbinate pattern and nasal septum was found. And destruction of the insicor bone, nasal bone, maxilla, hard palate, perpendicular palatine bone, and cribriform plate were identified. Nasal malignant melanoma was confirmed by nasal biopsy.

Miniature Schnauzer에서 발생한 장간막 염전 1증례

Mesenteric torsion was diagnosed in a 2-year-old, spayed female Miniature Schnauzer. The patient was presented with acute depression, vomiting, lethargy and hematochezia. On physical examination, severe dehydration, tachycardia, tachypnea, weak femoral pulse, delayed capillary refill time and pale mucous membrane were found and the dog was in shock. Radiography and ultrasonography revealed intestines distended with gas, ascites and the "C" shaped distended intestine. Medical treatments including fluid therapy, analgesics, antibiotics and lidocaine for reducing reperfusion injury were applied. And then, the mesenteric torsion was definitively diagnosed through exploratory laparotomy and intestinal resection and anastomosis were performed. The dog made an uneventful recovery and was free of clinical sign one week after surgery. Mesenteric torsion is an unusual and life-threatening disease in dogs. It has usually been described in the middle and large breed dogs, especially German Shepherds. However, the mesenteric torsion should be included in the differential diagnostic lists for acute abdomen even in small breed dog. The mortality rate of mesenteric torsion can be reduced through prompt diagnosis, proper preventive therapy for shock and reperfusion injury and emergency surgery.
