The Pyungchang earthquake(Jan. 2007, Ml4.9) have recorded PGA of about 0.15g at the Daegwanryung observation station nearby from the epicenter. In this paper the energy response spectrum analyses for the Pyungchang earthquake were carried out and compared with well known American earthquake Taft(1952).

It is generally known in seismic design that the beam yield type frames have more advantages than column yield type of which damage is likely to concentrate to any story. However we may design a building as a beam yield type, it becomes actually a column yield type collapse mode for slab floor diaphragm effect. Considering these points, the column yield type frames are selected and designed as the specimens. The object of this study is to grasp quantitatively the restoring force characteristic values and to estimate the seismic performances of column yield type steel rahmen.

There are many problems in present truss-deck slab system for example welding defect, segregation, water leakage, rust and tarnish etc. These problems may be caused by spot welding thin galvanized steel plate and lattice bar. The TOX Joining Systems is to join metal sheets of different material and thickness with and without coating or painting without adding heat or a joining part. Newly developed TOX-deck slab system using non-welding joint is free from above mentioned problems. The objects of this study are suggestion of design strength of TOX joint by experimental and statistical analyses and development of window based program to design the TOX-deck slab system.
ALC 패널 커튼월용 부품 Primary Anchor의 해석적 연구

본 연구는 Primary Anchor의 비선형 유한요소해석을 통해 구조적 성능을 파악하는데 목적이 있다. Primary Anchor Unit은 ALC 패널 커튼월과 RC 슬래브 또는 주골조 사이에 연결장치로 사용할 수 있다. 항복강도, 초기강성과 최대하중과 같은 구조적 특성을 구하고 자세히 비교분석하였다. This study aims at grasping the structural performances of primary anchor assemblage through a nonlinear finite element analysis. Primary anchor unit may be used as one of the connection devices between ALC panel curtain-wall and RC slab or main frame of a building. From the analytical results structural characteristics such as yield strength, initial stiffness and maximum strength are obtained and fully discussed.
