강우 레이더와 지상 우량계의 통합관측효과

본 연구에서는 우량계와 강우 레이더를 함께 이용하는 경우의 통합관측 효과를 검토하였다. 통합관측효과는 서로 직교하는 관측방법의 결합에 따른 관측오차의 감소를 고려함으로써 평가된다. 구체적인 적용 예로서 금강유역에 대하여 강우 레이더가 추가로 설치되는 경우 우량 관측망 밀도를 어느 정도까지 조정할 수 있는지에 대한 평가를 수행하였다. 이를 위해 North and Nakamoto(1989), Yoo et al. 복수와 해방의 변증법적 화해 : 이청준의「언어사회학 서설」연작을 중심으로 Focus on "An Introduction to Sociology of Language" of Lee Cheong - Joon`s Novel

The main theme in Lee Choeng-Joon's novels focus on revenge for the reality that makes himself sacrifice. The strong self-consciousness about his writings is shown clearly in 「An Introduction to Sociology of Language」(언어사회학 서설) written in 1970's. When I study this works, I can find how the literature of 'The pure Korean Generation' was successful in giving the shape without being greatly disillusioned. The theme of 「An Introduction to Sociology of Language」 is the self-examination about the possibility in writing novels with language, which lost the connection with reality and is not done sociological langrage. In 「Wandering Words」(떠도는 말들), 「Talking in the Nightmare」(몽압발성) and 「Let's write Autobiography」(자서전들 쓰십시다), the despair about materialized language is described in the process of impossibility about the writing itself. Even though the writer is frustrated in writing the novel, the destiny of writer is to generalize the new order named freedom from the suppression of writing. In 「Domination and Freedom」(지배와 해방), the writer explains that the revenge of private can be transferred to the contribution of society. In 「The Reborn Words」(다시 태어나는 말), the writer shows that the real word is in a word, 'forgiveness'. The word 'forgiveness' showing in looking back upon the past in the memory has something in common with the freedom which transcend the pattern and real meaning and value found in the life as course that vents his spite. In conclusion, the writer Lee Cheong-Joon can create the literature that express the inside consciousness without being disillusioned by trying to find real value in the life.

매개적 인물의 형상화와 관조적 리얼리즘의 구현 : 염상섭의 『삼대』론

Character is one of the most important components in a novel. Novel is different from drama in that it bring out the totality of objects while drama the totality of movement. Despite the importance of characters in novel, the actual description of characters, compared with drama, is usually subsidiary and peripheral. We can find in Yeom Sang-seop's Three Generations one of the representing examples that illustrate this characteristic of novel. Cho Deok-ki, the main character in Three Generations, is well known for his irresolute character. There is a reason why he is described as an irresolute person. It is due to his in-between position between Cho Ui-gwan who represents the old conservative generation and Kim Byeong-hwa, the new radical generation. If it tis true that a novel is intended to bring out the whole aspect of reality and the process of its transformation, it will be legitimate to say that irresolute Cho Deok-ki, who symbolizes the diverging point between the old and new generations, is a typical character in the genre of novel. In conclusion, the peculiarity of novel lies in the fact that the typical characteristics are to be presented not just in a character but also in the environment. Considering the title of the work, Three Generations, we might say that Cho Sang-hun, who is not introduced at the beginning and turns out to be a degenerated and incompetent person, plays little role in the novel. In the light ot this fact, it is problematic the fact that Part 2 of the novel, where Cho Sang-hun becomes the focus of events, is disintegrated in structure. It is a structural breakdown due to the loss of the central axis. The absence of Cho Doek-ki's character affects the whole structure of the novel. We can also relate the protagonist Cho Doek-ki's character to the author Yeom Sang-seop's middle-class conservatism. The middle-class conservatism that refuses the change or reform of reality and supports maintaining the status quo contributes to stabilizing the whole structure of the work. When we read closely Three Generations in terms of the interaction among characters, we find os much conflic and trickery but no real villain. This is confirmed in the fact that Cho Doek-ki never shows any kind of affection or hatred for any other character in the novel. In the midst of conflict and fight for inheritance, all Cho Deok-ki does is to observe composedly from a distance, understanding the truth of our life. This is what stabilizes the structure of the novel and makes Three Generations to be a masterpiece of the realism.

레인가든의 침투성능 및 유출저감효과 평가

본 연구에서는 함안군 군북면 소포리 일원에 있는 00부대 이전사업지구에 설치된 레인가든의 특성을 실험을 통해 확인하고, 레인가든의 침투 및 유출을 모의할 수 있는 1차원 모형을 제안하였다. 구축된 모형을 이용하여 설치 후 및 과거 10년간의 강우자료를 이용하여 모의 평가를 수행하였다. 아울러 연최대치 호우사상에 대한 적용 평가를 통해 레인가든이 상쇄시킬 수 있는 불투수면적의 규모를 추정해 보았다. 본 연구의 결과를 정리하면 다음과 같다. (1) 변수위 실험 방법을 적용하여 추정한 레인가든의 투수계수는 0.0188 m/hr인 것으로 나타났다. 아울러 과거 10년간의 강우자료에 대한 모의 실험에서 지붕 전체 면적을 사용하는 경우, 침투량의 비율이 약 90.38%로 나타났다. (2) 지난 10년간의연최대치 호우사상에 대해 동일한 방법으로 침투모의를 수행한 결과, 본 연구에서 검토한 레인가든은 그 표면적의 30배 정도에 해당하는 불투수면적을 상쇄할 수 있는 침투성능을 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났다. This study conducted a field experiment to estimate the characteristics of the rain garden installed at the site nearHaman, also proposed a one-dimensional model to simulate the infiltration and runoff from the rain garden. Thismodel was used to evaluate the rain garden using the rainfall data after the installation and during the last 10 years. Also, this model was applied to the annual maximum rainfall events to quantify the size of the impervious area thatthe rain garden can offset the adverse effect. The results are summarized below. (1) Hydraulic conductivity of the raingarden was estimated to be about 0.0188 m/hr by the variable-stage experiment. Also, the simulation experimentusing the last 10 years rainfall data over the entire roof area showed that the infiltration amount is about 90.38% outof the total rainfall. (2) Infiltration simulation of the annual maximum rainfall events during last 10 years showed thatthe rain garden can offset the impervious area with its size about 30 times of the rain garden surface.

A Mixture-Density-Network Based Approach for Finding Rating Curves: Facing Multi-Modality and Unbalanced Data Distribution

In this paper, the use of MDNs (Mixture Density Networks) is proposed for deciding rating curves. This method is beneficial especially when a single curve is developed when the relation between stage and discharge exhibits hysteresis. The computational analyses performed for the Han River and Mokkye stations showed that the MDN-based method yields more meaningful results than the conventional least squares approach. Of particular significance was the possible identification of the bi-modal characteristics of rating curves under the proposed method.

유역단위의 토사발생 모의를 위한 식생뿌리깊이의 정량화

This study quantified the tree root depth, an important factor in the simulation of basin-scale sediment yield. The data used in this study were those measured in the area of landslide due to heavy rainfall around July and August, 2006. These field survey data was quantified the relationship between slope and tree root depth using a probability density function (pdf). The tree root depth in this study considers both the gravitational direction and perpendicular direction to the plane. Finally, a methodology to generate tree root depth data using the pdf decided. As results, the two parameter gamma distribution was selected and found to well represent the tree root depth data. However, one should consider the number of data available or other geomorphological conditions to decide if the quantification of tree root depth is with respect to the gravitational direction or perpendicular direction to the plane. The results in this study may be used effectively for the estimation of tree root depth in the basin-scale sediment yield. 본 연구에서는 유역단위 토사발생 모의의 주요 인자인 식생뿌리의 깊이에 대한 정량화를 시도하였다. 본 연구에 사용된 자료는2006년 7, 8월 집중호우로 발생한 강원도 산사태 피해지역의 사면파괴지역에서 측정한 것이다. 조사된 자료를 이용하여 사면경사와뿌리깊이와의 관계를 확률밀도함수를 이용하여 정량화하였다. 본 연구에서는 뿌리깊이를 중력방향과 사면수직방향에 대해 각각 고려하였다. 마지막으로, 결정된 확률밀도함수를 이용하여 뿌리깊이를 모의하기 위한 방법을 제시하였다. 그 결과 뿌리깊이에 대한 적절한확률밀도함수로 2변수 감마분포가 선정되었으며, 선정된 분포는 원자료의 특성을 잘 나타내고 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 그러나 뿌리깊이를 중력방향 또는 사면수직방향으로 정량화 하느냐는 특히 관측자료의 개수 및 기타 지형적 상황을 고려하여 적절히 선택할 수 있을것으로 판단된다. 이러한 결과는 추후 유사지역의 유역단위 토사발생 모의에 있어 필요한 뿌리깊이의 추정에 적절히 이용될 수 있을것이다.

This thesis attempts to examine the meaning of <Solgeo> series that is prescribed to the romantic-artist novel written by Kim, Dong-ri. These works are placed at the prototype of the early period and a turn point to the middle period of Kim's. He failed to try to solve the problem of art through the introduction of religion in these works. And he gave up the romanticism realizing the impossibility of poeticizing of life(die Poetisierung des Lebens). But his quest for the resolution of this problem directs his literature to advance forwards. It means that he testified his own literary theory as the quest for ultimate form of life through the romantic novel. In <Solgeo> series as the romantic artist novel, the point to be paid attention is the contradiction of the arts with the life. And it's a dilemmatic problem as a romantic irony to him how to overcome the situation that art doesn't exist any more. For the salvation of life in the arts, he mixed up arts with religion and composed the ending form of work with compromising the two realm. In short, he got out of concreteness and materiality of everyday life through the religion so that he could acquired the pure art. But this progress lead to the weakness of narration in his works because of indulgence in reflection and poetic atmosphere of the romanticism of disillusionment. In <Ingyeoseol> and <Wanmiseol>, he imported the introspective activities that make possible of consideration of the relations between art and everyday life. But in these works so far as his viewpoint to the reality and human life is introspective, activities are the failed activities. As a result, Kim, Dong-ri introduced in next works the real activities that make the novel related with the reality.
