        국방정보시스템에서의 랜섬웨어 위협 대응방안 : 정보보안 위험관리 관점에서

        지난해에 이어 랜섬웨어로 인한 피해가 계속 증가되고 있으나 군내 사이버작전 수행지침에 별도의 랜섬웨어 유형 분류없이 사이버 작전 상황을 관리하고 있는 실정이다. 그러나 랜섬웨어는 다른 악성코드와 달리 조치내용과 파급력을 고려할 때, 한 순간 모든 국방업무를 마비시킬 수 있는 위협요소로 군은 랜섬웨어를 재평가하고 이에 따른 대비책을 강구해야 한다. 이에 따라 본 논문에서는 정보보안 위험관리 기반의 국방정보화 관련 자산, 취약점, 위협 등을 분석하고, 랜섬웨어 위협으로부터 국 방업무의 연속성을 확보하기 위한 대안을 제시하고자 한다. Damage caused by ransomware has continued to increase since last year, but cyber operations are managed without any separate classification of ransomware types in the military's guidelines for carrying out cyber operations. However, unlike other malware, ransomware is a threat that could paralyze all defense operations in one moment, and the military should reevaluate ransomware and take countermeasures. Accordingly, this paper aims to analyze the assets, vulnerabilities, and threats related to defense information service based on information security risk management, and propose alternatives to ensure continuity of defense work from ransomware threats.

        Streptomyces tubercidicus에서 Adenine과 Histidine에 의한 Tubercidin 생합성 조절

        The regulatory mechanism of tubercidin biosynthesis in Streptomyces tubercidicus was studied. In a wild type strain, addition of adenine and histidine into the medium decreased the tubercidin production by 60-65% and 40%, respectively. The effects of adenine and histidine were alleviated by the addition of inosine monophosphate and 5-aminoimidazole-4-carboxamide ribotide. The production of tubercidin in S. tubercidicus K115 strain ($ade^{-}$ ) was nearly shut off by histidine. In contrast with K115 strain, adenine inhibited the tubercidin biosynthesis in S. tubercidicus K412 strain ($his^{-}$. In S. tubercidicus F667 strain ($ade^{-}$ , $his^{-}$ ), tubercidin production was increased by adenine and histidine. From the effects of adenine and histidine on tubercidin biosynthesis in S. tubercidicus wild type and mutant strains, it became known that feedback control by adenine and histidine of biosynthetic pathwat for purine ribonucleotide and histidine are involved in the regulation of tubercidin biosynthesis.

        Synthesis and Anti-HIV Activity of Novel 4'-Ethyl-5'-norcarbocyclic Adenosine Phosphonic Acid Analogues

        Novel 4'-ethyl-5'-norcarbocyclic adenosine phosphonic acid analogues were synthesized from propionaldehyde 5through a de novo acyclic synthetic route using reiterative Grignard additions and ring-closing metathesis (RCM) as key reactions. The synthesized nucleoside phosphonic acids analogues 17, 18, 19, and 21 were subjected to antiviral screening against human immunodeficiency virus.

        정보보안 위험관리를 활용한 사이버 위협 군사 대응 전략

        제4차 산업혁명 기술은 현재 우리 군이 처한 병력 감축과 국방예산 감소라는 장애물을 넘어 초연결 초지능화된 네트워크 중심 작전 환경을 구축하는 해결책으로 대두되고 있다. 그러나 최신 정보기술에 대한 복잡성 증대와 기 운용중인 정보시스템과의 영향성 검증을 포함한 전체적인 위험관리가 미흡하여 시스템 무결성과 가용성에 심각한 위협을 초래하거나 시스템 간 상호운용성에 부정적 영향을 끼침으로서 임무 수행을 저해할 수 있다. 본 논문에서 우리는 정보기술의 발전에 따라 발생할 수 있는 사이버 위협으로부터 군 정보화 자산을 보호하기 위해 미국의 정보보안 위험관리에 대한 내용의 고찰을 통해 우리 군이 사이버 위협에 대비하기 위한 사이버 위협 대응 전략을 제시하고자 한다. The 4th Industrial Revolution technology has emerged as a solution to build a hyper-connected, super-intelligent network-oriented operational environment, overcoming the obstacles of reducing troops and defense budgets facing the current military. However, the overall risk management, including the increase in complexity of the latest information technology and the verification of the impact with the existing information system, is insufficient, leading to serious threats to system integrity and availability, or negatively affecting interoperability between systems. It can be inhibited. In this paper, we suggest cyber threat response strategies for our military to prepare for cyber threats by examining information security risk management in the United States in order to protect military information assets from cyber threats that may arise due to the advancement of information technology.

        군용 스마트폰 어플리케이션의 활용 분야와 보안 제한 사항

        The widespread diffusion of smartphones has turned out to be the main source of growth in various private sectors, and the smartphone has become an indispensable equipment in our daily life. In case of South Korea, the majority of smartphones have been used in the field of non-military, and its military applications have not been actively studied thus far. This shows a clear contrast with the fact that active researches on the adaptation of smartphones into military domain are being conducted in many advanced countries. To this end, in this paper, we first investigated the basic concepts of the smartphone, its domestic dissemination rate, related technologies, and the status of the military smartphone applications in other countries. Then, we suggested a framework for the domestic military smartphone applications in order to describe how the smartphone applications can be used in the domestic military domain. We also developed a mobile learning application prototype for preliminary rifle instruction (PRI) to demonstrate the possible use of the smartphone applications in military domain. In addition, we discussed various security issues related to smartphone application. The results of this paper will provide helpful guidelines to future researchers when they develop a variety of smartphone applications in military domain.

        Production and Biological Activity of Laidlomycin, Anti-MRSA/VRE Antibiotic from Streptomyces sp. CS684

        Culture broth of a streptomycete isolate, Streptomyces sp. CS684 showed antibacterial activity on methicilin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and vancomycin resistant enterococci (VRE). Among purified substances from the organism, CSU-1, which is active against MRSA and VRE, is a C37H62O12Na (M+,721.3875), and identified as laidlomycin. The anti-MRSA and anti-VRE activity of CSU-1 was stronger than oxacillin and vancomycin. Phylogenetic analysis showed that strain CS684 is very similar to Streptomyces ardus NRRL 2817T, whereas the ability of Streptomyces sp. CS684 to produce laidlomycin was shown to be unique.

      • Streptomyces tubercidicus ATCC 25502의 원형질체 생성 및 환원

        Protoplasts isolation and their reversion to a filamentous state were studied in Streptomyces tubercidicus ATCC 25502. High yield of protoplasts were obtained from mycelia grown in S medium containing 2% glycine. Protoplast isolation from mycelia was most efficient when mycelia were taken from the transition stage between the middle and late exponential growth phase. The optimum sucrose concentration for stability of protoplasts was 0.3∼0.5M. Reversion of protoplasts to a filamentous state was not occur on R_1, R_2, R_3 regeneration media by direct plating method, but 0.1% regeneration frequency was obtained by top agar overlay plating method on R_3 media.

        Purification and Properties of a Membrane-bound Alcohol Dehydrogenase from Acetobacter sp. HA

        초산 생성 균주인 Acetobacter sp. HA로부터 membrane-bound alcohol dehydrogenase(ADH)를 분리 정제하였다. 세포막 분획과 세포막에서 효소의 용출 그리고 크로마토그라피 방법 등을 적용하여 수율 35%, 153배 정제된 효소를 획득하였다. 정제된 효소의 분자량은 330,000 dalton이었으며, 각각 분자량 79,000과 49,000 그리고 45,000 dalton을 가진 세 종류의 subunit로 이루어져 있었다. 그리고 흡수 스펙트럼의 분석 결과 본 효소에는 cytochrome c가 존재함을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 효소는 메탄올을 제외한 1차 지방족 알코올을 기질로 이용할 수 있었으며, formaldehyde, acetaldehyde 그리고 glutaraldehyde의 경우에도 다소간 기질로 이용될 수 있었다. 본 효소의 에탄올에 대한 $K_m$값은 1.38mM이었으며, 최적 pH와 온도는 각각 5.0~6.0과 32${\circ}C$이었다. 본 효소의 활성은 $V_2O_5$와 $ZnCl_2,\; NiCl_2$같은 금속 이온에 의하여 저해되었다. Membrane-bound alcohol dehydrogenase(ADH) was purified to homogeneous state fron an acetic acid producing bacteria, Acetobacter sp. HA. The enzyme was purified about 153-fold with an overall yield of 35% from the crude cell extract by solubilization and extraction of the enzyme with Triton X-100 and subsequent fractions by column chromatography. Upon sodium dodecyl sulphate-PAGE, the enzyme showed the presence of three subunits with a molecular mass of 79,000 daltons, 49,000, and 45,000 daltons, respectively. Absorption oxidized aliphatic alcohols with a straight carbon chain except for methanol. Formaldehyde, acetaldehyde and glutaraldehyde were also oxidizable substrates. The apparent $K_m$ for ethanol was 1.38mM. The optimun pH and temperature were 5.0~6.0 and 32${\circ}C$, respectively. $V_2O_5$ and heavy metals such as $ZnCl_2\;and\; NiCl_2$ were inhibitory to the enzyme activity.
