A more efficient method for obtaining the fatigue life enhancement of a structure member with fastener holes is described. It is based on the combined process of cold-expansion and ring-indentation. Residual stresses were induced onto premachined holes using ring-indentation process near the fastener hole combined with cold-expansion. And residual stresses at the vicinity of a hole were evaluated using a fracture mechanics approach. The compressive residual stresses were larger using the combined process than is in the case of simple cold-expansion. Fatigue testing of aluminum specimens showed that the fatigue crack growth retardation emanating from a circular hole was greater for the combined process than for a simple cold-expansion alone.

In developed countries, they have constructed the integrative transportation system which allows people to use bicycle, subway and train at a time. They also have tried actively to load bicycle in public transportation for using them at the same time. This thesis analyzed the problem and improvement of bicycle loading manners in public transportation to activate the connection system for them in Korea. In some subways and light rail, they have tried to load bicycles in public transportation, most of which are less effective and safe due to using the existing bicycle racks for non-driving. In particular we confirmed that the existing bicycle loading systems which are being used sporadically at the moment may cause expensive bicycles to crash one another and damage passengers in public transportation. The researchers confirmed that just the layout planning can carry 4 to 6 more bicycles than before without altering the existing layout largely through simulation or trial test and we can load bicycles inexpensively and effectively through improving ready made bicycle racks. To summarize as following. 1. In case of subway and light rail, we confirmed that after changing some general seats into handicap seats, we have spare capacity by arranging bicycles at an angle of 45 degrees which can load 3∼4 more bicycles than before. 2. It is better a pillar or a pillar rack style in subway and train. it is also good to change holders into vice type and to widen the space between holders to improve sway control problem. 3. It is possible to load the maximum 3 bicycles by arranging at an angle 45 or 60 degree using floor frame after taking the back door of the bus. But it is not suitable for hanging style because buses are normally narrower and worse swaying is worse than train. 4. It is good flooring rail or wheel holding type for buses. Because we have rear tires of bicycles load the holders which can adjust their height without lifting bicycles so that bicycles can be balanced safely. 5. Changing one of the two ready made holders axis into vice type can improve durability of the holder.

Thermus caldophilus GK24 was selected as sources of thermostable $\beta$-galactosidase from a survey of genus Thermus. T. caldophilus GK24 (Tca) $\beta$-galactosidase was found to be inducible. The enzyme was optimally active at 75$\circ$C. Enzyme induction was achieved by addition of lactose, galactose and cellobiose to basal media. The addition of glucose to culture media had a repressive effect on further enzyme synthesis. T caldophilus GK24 was tested for production of $\beta$-galactosidase by addition of various concentration of lactose, galactose and cellobiose to standard media. Cellobiose was found to be effective for the $\beta$-galactosidase induction. The optimal induction medium for production of $\beta$-galactosidase was composed of 0.2% cellobiose, 0.3% bactotryptone, 0.3% yeast extract, basal salts and Tris/HCI(pH 7.8). The activity of the enzyme in the optimal induction medium increased nearly 16.5-fold compared to the standard medium. Tca $\beta$-galactosidase was detected when cell extracts was subjected to electrophoresis in a nondenaturing polyacryamide gel and stained for activity with 6-bromo-2-naphtyl-$\beta$-D-galactopyranoside(BNG).

The bicycle night driving environment of our city is very poor. If the bike night using rate is enhanced, the public transportation sharing rate will be increased more 20%. This thesis suggests the most effective bicycle lighting design through analyzing bikeway structure beside main streets and night driving patterns. The research indicates that most bikeway night driving patterns rely on the intensity of illumination of the ground. Therefore we suggest bikeway integrated lighting design to improve inefficiency of the existing streetlight way. The integrated design can directly illuminate bikeway floor at the road boundary stone etc. without disturbing upper street trees or losing the intensity of illumination and have caution or warning lightings depending on driving conditions with cheap electric charges.
가즈요 세지마의 착시효과를 이용한 표현적 외피 구축방법에 관한 연구

This study analyses spatial effect and construction method created by the modeling method using observer's illusion in the exterior-envelope of contemporary architecture, which is used as an ornament combined with reasonable structure system. Kazuyo Sejima's experiment contributes to make another space based on observer's imagination by blurring the border between the subject and virtual image through moir phenomenon or montage technique, which is superior to the early experiment transforming the condition of exterior-envelope by superimposition. Though spatial experiment through the illusion may seem to be abstract from the stereotypical viewpoint, actually it is not abstract at all. The new relationship between sense and reading is finally connected to new spatial sense via the observer's perceptive transmission. Analysis of constructionmethod has shown that illusion method to strengthen the expression of exterior-envelope in architecture is made up of the further reinforcement in the composition of planar landscape and sense of depth without the distinguishable layers by the details such as omitting the mullions, flattening the surface and repeating the transparent overlap.

This thesis aims to analyze user's Preference Tendency so as to prepare in case of dispersing planning Cultural · Sports center which are concentrated in middle area of Changwon, If those new facilities will be built we should design swimming pool, gym, yoga which are popular steadily and culture classroom which can be used other purposes. In addition we need new plans that are different from the existing facilities program's circumstances. Also we analyze that it is reasonable to design squash tennis, ice link, out-side space which are not in the existing facilities to avoid the duplicate investment
