선양치성낭의 임상 및 병리조직학적 분석

The glandular odontogenic cyst is an uncommon odontogenic cyst as a distinct entity. We reviewed a series of 7 glandular odontogenic cysts of the jaws experienced between 2003 and 2006 at the department of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery, Chosun university. The study group consisted of 3 females (42.9%) and 4 males (57.1%), with an age range of 31 to 75 years and mean age was 58.6 years. The maxilla was involved in 5 cases (71.4%) and the mandible in 2 cases (28.6%). Three cases involved impacted tooth. Clinically 6 cases showed swelling and tenderness. All the lesion presented well-defined unilocular radiolucent lesion radiographically. Provisional clinical diagnosis was varied, incisional biopsy was done in 1 case. Histopathologically, those were lined by non-keratinized stratified epithelium and thickened epithelial segments (plaques) are seen within the lining epithelium. And epithelial lining contains eosinophilic cuboidal type cells, mucous cells and mucin pools in microcystic areas are identified. All cysts were treated by enucleation. All cases are not recurred during follow up period.

The purpose of the present study was to review the retromandibular approach for surgical treatment of condylar fractures.Indications, advantages and disadvantages, surgical anatomy, complications, and various modifications of the retromandibular approach for treatment of condylar fractures were investigated through an article review. The retromandibular approach is useful when endoscopic-assisted intraoral open reduction or internal fixation is not possible due to the fracture site or degree of displacement. The retromandibular approach also permits direct exposure of the ramus since it is closer and does not cause remarkable scars. Complications related to the retromandibular approach include facial nerve injury, sialocele, salivary fistula, scar, and preauricular hypoesthesia. However, the morbidity of complications is low compared to other extraoral approaches. There are various modifications of the retromandibular approach such as the anteroparotid transmasseteric approach, the retroparotid approach, the mini-retromandibular approach, which minimizes potential injury to facial nerves and salivary complications, as well as the transparotid approach. The retromandibular approach provides good access with low morbidity. Open reduction and internal fixation of condylar fractures using the retromandibular approach is a recommended procedure

갱년기 중년 여성의 지속적 운동 습관을 형성하기 위한 디지털 헬스케어 UX 디자인

의학 기술의 발달과 기대 수명의 증가로 중년기 삶의 비중이 커지면서 삶의 질을 향상시키기 위해 중년기 건강 관리에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 통계청이 발표한 2021 년 생명표에 따르면, 남성의 기대수명은 80.6 세, 여성은 86.6 세로 여성의 기대수명이 남성보다 6 년 정도 더 긴 것으로 나타났다. 이는 여성이 남성보다 더 긴 기간 동안 건강 관리 필요성에 직면할 수 있음을 시사한다. 그러나, 만성질병 발생률은 중년기 여성에게서 높은 비율로 측정되어 지속적인 관리가 중년기 여성에게 더 중요할 것으로 예측할 수 있다. 중년기 여성의 질병 발생 원인은 갱년기(질병 또는 노화에 의해 난소기능이 감소하면서 폐경과 관련된 신체 및 심리적 변화를 겪는 시기)에 변화되는 신체×정서적인 노화 증상을 관리하지 못하여 발생한다. 이러한 변화에 대응하기 위해서는 맞춤형 건강 정보, 정서적 지원, 그리고 개인화된 운동 프로그램이 필요하다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해, 본 연구에서는 갱년기를 겪고 있는 중년기 여성이 신체×정서적인 노화 증상을 관리하며 지속적인 운동 습관 형성을 돕기 위한 UX 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 기존에 출시된 디지털 헬스케어 서비스 내에서 습관 형성을 위해 사용자를 자극하고 있는 습관 형성 요인을 분석하고 분석된 결과를 토대로 중년 여성의 운동 습관을 형성할 수 있는 전략과 개입 방법을 제안하였다. 본 연구를 통해 갱년기를 겪고 있는 중년기 여성 맞춤형 습관 형성 디지털 헬스케어 서비스를 구축하는데 기초 자료로써 도움이 되고자 한다.

인터넷 기반의 서비스 외에도 스마트폰 자체의 고유 기능 중 소비자들이 가장 많이 사용하는 기능인 카메라는 스마트폰 기능에 가장 중요한 부분을 차지하고 있다. 스마트폰 카메라의 기능 향상은 스마트폰 카메라 사용빈도 또한 늘어났으며 사용자들은 자신이 찍은 사진을 그대로 인터넷에 게시하기 보다는 사진보정 애플리케이션을 통해 보정된 사진을 공유하기 시작하였다. 스마트폰 선택에 있어 카메라 기능과 사진 보정을 통한 인터넷 공유 기능에 소비자의 관심이 높은 상황에서 사진보정 앱과 관련한 이용자의 태도를 알아보는 하는 것은 의미 있는 연구라 사료된다. 이에 본 연구는 SNOW 사진보정 앱 사용자의 이용동기가 충성도와 만족도에 미치는 영향과 이용자의 충성도와 만족도가 SNOW 사진보정 앱 지속사용의도에 미치는 영향이 어떠한지를 분석하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, SNOW 사진보정 앱 이용 동기 중 ‘연동성’은 충성도에 긍정적인 영향을 주었으나 ‘유희성’과 ‘기능성’은 유의한 영향을 주지 않았다. 둘째, SNOW 사진보정 앱 이용 동기 중 ‘기능성’과 ‘유희성’은 만족도에 긍정적인 영향을 주었으나 ‘연동성’은 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, SNOW 사진보정 앱 이용자의 만족도와 충성도가 높아질수록 이용자의 지속사용의도가 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 추후 사진보정 앱을 제작하는 제작자들에게 사용자의 태도가 어떠한지를 이해하는데 기초자료가 될 것이다. Camera, the function which is most frequently used by consumers out of the own functions of smartphone in addition to the services based on Internet assumes the most important part of smartphone functions. Due to the improved function of smartphone camera, smartphone camera is used more frequently and users begin to share the photos rectified through photo rectification application instead of merely posting photos they take on Internet. Since consumers are much interested in Internet sharing function through camera function & photo rectification in selecting smartphone, investigating the attitude of user related to photo rectification app is deemed to be meaningful study. Thus, this study analyzed how users’ motive to use SNOW photo rectification app influences loyalty and satisfaction as well as how users’ loyalty and satisfaction influences the intention to use SNOW photo rectification app continuously. According to the study, first, although ‘linkage’ positively influences ‘loyalty’ out of the motives to use SNOW photo rectification app, ‘playfulness’ and ‘functionality’ did not influence significantly. Second, although ‘functionality’ and ‘playfulness’ positively influence satisfaction out of the motives to use SNOW photo rectification app, ‘linkage’ did not influence significantly. Third, it is found users’ intention of continuous use is higher when their satisfaction and loyalty in SNOW photo rectification app is higher. This study will be basic data for producers of photo rectification app to understand the attitude of user later.

초등영어 온라인 수업: 도전과 극복, 남은 과제

With the outbreak of the Corona virus pandemic, schools started their new semester with online classes. While suffering from numerous difficulties, teachers have overcome numerous obstacles to achieve success with online classes. This paper is aimed at reporting on those difficulties and obstacles, how teachers overcame them, and the remaining challenges. Primary English teachers turned out to be in a worse situation than teachers of other subjects due to the heavier dependence on multimedia materials provided by text publishers and the necessity of interactive communication in language acquisition. Issues with copyrights and portrait rights, difficulties in dealing with programs and equipment for online classes, problems of achievement division, and resulting burnout symptoms were addressed. In order to prepare for future online classes, active problem solving is required not only by teachers utilizing collective intelligence but also by educational agencies.

The aim of the present study was to review bisphosphonate osteonecrosis of the jaws (BRONJ). Bisphosphonate, pathophysiology, risk factors, staging, clinical manifestation, treatments, and prevention of BRONJ were investigated through a literature search. Bisphosphonates are a group of drugs that treat diseases related to bone resorption such as Paget`s disease, osteoporosis, and osseous metastases. BRONJ is defined as exposure and necrosis of bone in the oral cavity for at least 8 weeks in patients receiving bisphosphonate and with no history of radiotherapy of the jaws. Many articles have reported risk factors associated with BRONJ such as systemic diseases, oral infection, poor oral hygiene, and intraoral trauma. The objectives of BRONJ treatment are to minimize necrosis and relieve symptoms. Many treatments are suggested from conservative treatment to radical intervention, but this remains controversial. BRONJ remains a difficult condition to treat although many studies are being carried out.

증례 : 신장 ; 우측 총장골동맥 혈전증이 초기 증상으로 발현된 막성 사구체신염 1예

본 증례는 우측 하지통증을 주소로 내원한 하지동맥 혈전증 환자에 신장 조직 검사에서 막성 사구체신염이 진단된 경우로 막성 사구체신염에서도 초기 증상으로 하지동맥 혈전증이 나타날 수 있으며, 동맥 혈전증 발생 기전으로 antithrombin III, fibrinogen 등의 혈액응고인자 이상 및 저알부민혈증뿐만 아니라 MTHFR C677T mutation과 같은 유전적인 요인도 관여할 것으로 생각되어 향후 연구가 필요할 것으로 생각된다. Most patients with nephrotic syndrome visit the hospital because of edema due to hypoalbuminemia induced by severe proteinuria. However, rare cases have reported arterial thrombosis as the main problem complicating nephrotic syndrome. Arterial thrombosis combined with nephrotic syndrome is rarer than venous thrombosis, and it usually develops during treatment with steroids or diuretics. Arterial thrombosis is rarely diagnosed as the initial sign of nephrotic syndrome. We report the case of a 38-year-old-woman with membranous glomerulonephritis presenting with right common iliac artery thrombosis as the initial sign. (Korean J Med 2011;81:257-261)
