근대스포츠의 수용과 전통스포츠의 근대화 양상에 관한 연구

The purpose of this study was to consider on the development aspects and the characters of Korean folk game at modernization era. In that context both the meaning of modernization in the history of Korea entering to the modern times and the formation and character of modern sports are covered in this study. Modernity generally means as both historical and philosophical concept. Historically, modern times is placed behind the ancient times and the medieval times. Philosophically, it could stand for the "Enlightement" which included three specific notions - credit for reason change in point of view for nature, belif in progressiveness by science. With unorganized structure, sports or game have made preperatory roles for the appearance of modern sports until 18 century. But late 18 century, the folk game or pre-modern sports began to weaken, which was probably influenced by agricultural revolution. Meanwhile modern sports came to have a firm stand in England first through 18th, 19th century and gradually began to be spread into America and some European countries. Korea shows unique situation that tradition and modernity coexist thanks to much shorter period in modernization process than Western countries. That brought about sudden changes in many fields as well as in the field of sports.

The purpose of this study was, by investigating the development of physical education as an academic discipline, to provide the future direction of physical education as an academic discipline and explore an aspect of research methodology in physical education as an academic discipline. In the 1960s, based on Henry's argument regarding academic appropriateness, there was a movement to boots the adademic validity of physical education as an academic discipline which resulted in physical education being bifurcated into science and education fields. As a result, physical educatior identified and treated its related subject matter through the academic logic and techniques of existing disciplines such as the natural science, humanities, and social science. This dependency on existing disciplines was adopted in lieu of investigating and developing origina methods based on the content of physical education's existing body of knowledge. This has resulted in a shift in the direction of the mother discipline of physical education away from any earnest consideration of knowledge derived from physical education toward an objective, scientific treatment of the phenomenon of human movement and its attendant considerations. Through a re-evaluation of the current state of physical education, this paper, therefore, attempted to illuminate the estrangement of physical education from its core concern, that is the value deribed from the movement of human being. Furthermore, an attempt was made to identify the aspects of physical education which are unique only to physical education, i.e., knowledge derived from human movement or from the physical dimension of humna existence. Through this attempt, it is possible to restore to a clear concept and direction of physical education as to its mother discipline and research methodology. This must be done in the hope that this type of research might help physical education recover its original birth right which was the harmonization of human knowledge with human movement through understanding and enhancing the relationship between the two.
스텔라이트 합금 용사 코팅의 피로 강도에 미치는 후열처리의 영향

The effect of post-heat treatment on the coating characteristics and the fatigue strength of the gas flame thermally sprayed Stellite alloy coatings on $0.35\%$ carbon steel were investigated. The fatigue fracture surfaces of the heat treated samples were observed using SEM (Scanning Electron Microscopy). For as-sprayed samples, there was considerable scattering in the fatigue life due to the presence of the pores in the coating. After the post-heat treatment to improve the microstructural characteristics of the coating layer, the fatigue strength of the specimens was greatly improved, increasing with increasing the coating thickness. For the specimens with the 0.3mm and 0.5mm thick coating, the fatigue cracks originated in the substrate region just below the interface. On the contrary, for the specimens with the 1.0mm thick coating, they nucleated at the pore within the coating, and the fatigue strength was 2.6 times higher than that of the substrate due to the high fatigue resistance of the coating.

The purpose of this study is to empirically identify elements that decide the residential satisfaction of low-rise residential in Seoul. A hypothesis was drawn from a background of theoretical discussion and previous studies, and was analyzed based on empirical data in order to explore whether residential satisfaction of low-rise residence for residents could be improved. Also this study identified the factors determining the residential satisfaction of low-rise residence from the previous studies and analyzed the impact of each determinant through the Regression analysis on the residents. Considering on previous study of residential satisfaction influence on residents, basing influence the internal, external and surroundings environment factor of low-rise residence in Seoul. The results of this study shows that the residents of low-residence had residential satisfaction by 2.76. The analysis showed that internal, external and surroundings environment factor positive affected the residential satisfaction of low-rise in Seoul. 본 연구의 목적은 서울시 저층주거지 주거환경이 주거만족도에 미치는 영향을 실질적으로 분석하는 데 있다. 따라서 가설은 이론적 배경과 선행연구를 통해 설정하였고, 실질적인 설문데이터를 통해 서울시 저층주거지 거주자의 주거만족도를 분석하였다. 선행연구를 통해 주거만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인 세 가지를 선정하였으며, 분석방법으로는 요인분석, 신뢰도분석, 집단 간 평균분석, 일원배치분산분석, 다중회귀분석을 활용하였다. 그 결과, 전체적으로 보통 이하(2.76) 수준에서 만족하였으며, 3가지 요인 중에서는 외부환경요소가 상대적으로 가장 만족도가 높았다(3.03). 반면 주변환경요소는 2.60 수준으로 저층주거지의 지리적 특성상 가장 좋지 않은 주거만족도를 보인 것으로 판단된다. 내부환경요소, 외부환경요소, 주변환경요소가 서울시 저층주거지 주거만족도에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 서울시 저층주거지는 주거지 전체의 55% 수준이며, 향후 인구사회구조적 변화에 따라 고층 개발에서 저층 중심의 개발형태로 변화할 가능성이 높다. 이에 서울시는 저층주거지의 열악한 부분이 무엇이고 무엇을 보완하고 정책적으로 지원해야 할 것인지에 대한 지속적인 조사와 의견 개진을 통해 올바른 주택정책이 되도록 많은 노력을 기울여야 할 것이다.
초본계 펠릿 보일러 보급 및 확산을 위한 초본계 펠릿과 목재 펠릿 열분해 특성 비교 연구

A 200 kW industrial boiler for rice husk pellet combustion is under developing in the Korea Institute of Energy Research (KIER) with a pellet boiler company. In the current study, the pyrolysis characteristics of rice husk pellets was investigated as a fundamental research and compared with that of wood pellets. A thermogravimetric analyser (TGA) was used to heat up rice husk pellets to 500 ℃ in nitrogen atmosphere. Experimental results were plotted in the Van Kravelen diagram and analyzed as a form of combustability index (CI), derivative thermogravimetric analysis (DTA), and gradient in activation energy (Ea) plot. 한국에너지기술연구원에서는 바이오 자원 중의 하나인 농업 생산 부산물을 활용할 수 있는200kWth급 초본계 펠릿(rice husk pellet including farming wastes) 보일러를 산업계와 함께 연구 개발하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 펠릿 보일러를 연구 개발하는 과정에서 도출된 초본계 펠릿 열분해 특성 실험 결과를 소개하고자 한다. 실험 장치로 초본계 시료를 질소 분위기에서 500℃까지 열분해할 수 있는 열중량 분석기(TGA)를 사용하였다. 또한 연료로서 시료의 특성을 분석하기 위해 공업 분석(proximate analysis)과 원소 분석(ultimate analysis)을 수행하였다. 실험 결과로 원소 분석, 열중량 분석 이외에도 반 크라벨렌 선도(Van Kravelen diagram), 연소성 지수(CI : Combustability Index), 온도 증가에 따른 질량 감소율(DTA : Derivative Thermogravimetric Analysis), 활성화 에너지 선도 기울기를 구하였고 이를 목재 펠릿과 비교 분석하였다.
