측쇄형 액정폴리아세틸렌 유도체의 열안정성 및 액정 성질에 관한 연구

Ziegler-Natta와 metathesis 촉매를 사용하여 측쇄에 mesogenic moiety로서 cyclohexylphenyl 또는 biphenyl기를 갖는 액정폴리아세틸렌 유도체를 합성하였다. 특히 metathesis 촉매(MoCl_5-Ph₄Sn)로 합성한 고분자는 trans형의 배위를 가지며, Ziegler-Natta 촉매계의 고분자보다 열안전성이 우수하였다. 시차주사열량계와 편광현미경의 측정으로 모든 고분자의 액정 성질을 조사하였다. Alkylcyclohexylphenyl 또는 pentylbiphenyl기를 함유한 고분자는 fan-shaped 구조를 가지는 smectic A 액정상을 나타내었다. 또한 상전이에 따른 엔탈피 변화, cis형에서 trans 구조로의 열 이성화 및 분자량에 관해서 이들 고분자의 분광학적 특성을 분석하였다. We have synthesized liquid crystalline polyacetylene derivatives with a cyclohexyl phenyl or biphenyl group as a mesogenic moiety in the side group by using Ziegler-Natta and metathesis catalysts. Especially, polymers prepared by the metathesis catalyst(MoCl_5-Ph₄Sn) had traps-rich configuration, and their thermal stability was more excellent than polymers prepared by the Ziegler-Natta catalyst. Liquid crystalline properties of all polymers were investigated through measurements of differential scanning calorimetry(DSC) and polarizing microscopy. The polymers consisting of alkyl cyclohexylphenyl or pentylbiphenyl group are found to show a smectic A liquid crystalline phase with a fan-shaped texture. Spectroscopic characteristics of these polymers were also analyzed with respect to molecular weights, thermal isomerization of the cis to traps form and enthalpy changes associated with phase transitions.

This study aims at exploring the effect of leadership type on Taekwondo trainees' development in sociality. in order to help as a reference for a Taekwondo training. The measuring instrument(Leadership Scale for Sport) used in the survey was developed by Chellandurai and Saleh(1980) and revised by Kim(1990). Items related with development in sociality argued by Ahn(1997) and Yeon(2001) were also used. Data were processed through SPSS. Frequency analysis was done to figure out background variables of the objects. Reliability analysis was done to verify the questionnaire reliability. Multiple regression was used to explore the effect of leadership behaviors on the trainees' development in sociality. The results were as follows Firstly, social supporting highly affected sub-factors of sociality development such as trust, justice. and patriotism. Secondly, positive rewarding behaviors highly affected sub-factors of trainees' sociality such as language use habits, responsibility. Thirdly, training and instructing behaviors by the trainers highly affected trainees' teamwork. When synthetically looking, it was found that trainees' development in sociality had various sub-factors as did the trainers' types. Accordingly, it was thought that proper custom-made training in developing sociality was important to trainees.
UV 흡수 moiety 를 갖는 이색성 아조염료를 사용한 편광필름의 제조와 편광특성

UV 흡수 moiety를 갖는 이색성 아조염료를 합성한 후, 염착공정에 의해 poly(vinyl alcohol), PVA-dye 편광필름을 제조하였다. UV 흡수 염료를 가지고 제조한 PVA 착체의 UV-Visible 스펙트럼은 556 ㎚에서 염료 발색단에 해당되는 흡수 peak를 나타내었다. 본 연구에서 제조한 편광필름은 99.5%의 높은 편광효율과 40.5%의 투과도를 나타내었다. 특히 UV-B 영역에 대한 UV 차단 효과는 뛰어났다. PVA-UV 흡수 염료계 편광필름의 열과 습도에 대한 내구성은 일반적으로 사용되는 PVA-I₂편광필름에 비해 우수하였다. A novel dichroic azo dye having UV absorbing moiety was synthesized and then poly(vinyl alcohol), PVA-dye polarizing film was prepared by dyeing process. The UV-Visible spectrum of PVA complex prepared with a UV absorbing dye showed absorption band corresponding to dye chromophore at 556 ㎚. The prepared polarizing film exhibited a high polarization efficiency of 99.5% and a good transmittance of 40.5%. Especially, UV shielding effect for UV-B range was excellent. The heat and humidity resistance of PVA-UV absorbing dye polarizing film was higher than that of a conventional PVA-I₂ polarizing film.
