        이중 에너지 방사선 검출기 개발

        본 논문에서는 이중 에너지 디지털 래디오그래피를 위한 이중 모드 검출기 개발을 제안한다. 이중 에너지 래디오그 래피 모듈의 설계를 위하여 상용 BIS(Baggage Inspection System)에서 사용되고 있는 X-선 발생장치의 스펙트럼과 이중 모드 검출기에 대한 특징 및 방사선적 특성을 분석하였다. 제안하는 영상 검출기 모듈은 BIS에서 활용되고 있는 X-선관을 대상으로 X-선 스펙트럼을 모사하고, 모사한 스펙 트럼을 통하여 새롭게 제안하는 검출기 모듈의 방사선적 특성을 고찰하였다. X-ray를 이용한 실험에서 구리 필터의 두께 증가에 따라 저에너지 검출기(LED)와 고에너지 검출기(HED)의 출력 신호의 차이는 같이 증가하였다. 특히 HED에서의 출력신호의 크기는 구리 필터 두께가 증가 할수록 감소함을 알 수 있었다. In this paper, we are suggested development of dual-mode detector for dual-energy digital radiography. Design of dual-energy radiography module for commercial BIS (Baggage Inspection System) is used in the spectrum of the X-ray generator and detector for dual-mode features and radiological characteristics were analyzed. BIS suggestl on the image detector module being used to target X-ray tube to simulate X-ray spectrum and simulated spectrum to offer through the new radiographic characteristics of the detector modules were investigated. Using X-ray experiments with an increase in the thickness of the copper filter low energy detector (LED) and high-energy detector (HED) as the difference between the output signal increases. HED, especially in the size of the output signal decreases with increasing thickness of the copper filter was found.

        A Study on Awareness and Acceptance of the Public about Irradiated Food

        Use of radiation field appears to be about 52.0% of the highest part of the public to be leading authority in the future, as a target for the attention of high school students in irradiated food and Thus it can be seen in the country, the high school students surveyed close to the awareness of food irradiation was analyzed by conducting survey that students lack knowledge of the students about the radiation of interest is plentiful compared to interest. Also showed that 81.3% of all students, without knowing the difference between the sexes for the certification mark of irradiated food and food irradiation. Why students think positively irradiated food is as high as 37.3% showed the best pest removal, 38.9% was the highest of human harm is reason to think negatively of students irradiated foods. Opportunities and access to irradiated food and I think most students feel the need for men and women, and the lack of education for the students of irradiated food. Conclusions that we can continue to lead in the direction of the positive awareness of food irradiation to promote education for students with a TV and a TV 50.9% was the highest because of the "what do you want to receive training?". Most students also have opinions about the use of food irradiation as a school meal is enhanced by the use of food irradiation as a sanitary and 50.0% higher, while the students are still afraid of the research process, pollutant contamination, irradiation process it was found that the negative part, such as the high distrust. Students were positive in the investigation of the doctor or buy food students aware than before if you get proven in proving the stability of food to the most trusted institution or organization for irradiated food. It is preferable that the program on the awareness and improve knowledge and attitudes about the need to improve reliability by providing strategic social acceptance for nuclear and radiation used in the country.

        이중 에너지 검출기를 이용한 영상 시스템

        본 논문은 이중 에너지 DR(Digital Radiography) 방식 중, 단일 조사 X-선(single shot X-ray exposure) 장치 와 이중 모드 검출기 모듈 (Low Energy Detector & High Energy Detector)을 이용한 이중 X-선 이미징이 가능한 검 출기 모듈에 관한 연구이다. 상용 BIS(baggage inspection system)에서 사용되고 있는 X-선 발생장치의 스펙트럼과 이중 모드 검출기에 대한 특징 및 방사선적 특성을 분석하여 새롭게 제안 할 검출기 모듈의 최적 설계 방향을 기술하고 상용화된 용화된 LED 및 HED 검출기와 새롭게 제안 한 검출기 모듈에 대해 전기적, 광학적, 방사선적 특성 실험을 실시하여, 새롭게 제안 된 검출기 모듈이 BIS 용도로 사용 가능함을 증명하였다. 새롭게 제안 된 검출기 모듈이 적용된 BIS에 대해, 기본 특성 실험에 대한 X-선 영상을 획득하여 실험 및 분석을 실시하였다. Single exposure dual X-ray imaging can be used to separate soft and dense-material images for medical and industrial applications. This study keep focusing baggage inspection system(BIS) specifically. New detector modules for single exposure dual X-ray imaging are consisted of low energy detector (LED) and high energy detector (HED). First, the optimized thickness of copper filter coupled HED to separate low energy and high energy was simulated by the given X-ray energy (140 kVp, 1 mA) using Monte Carlo simulation codes, MCNPX. So as a result of simulation, the copper filter thickness is 0.7 mm. For the design of PIN photodiode, ATLAS device simulation tool was used. 16 channels PIN photodiode of 1.5 mm x 3.2 mm for Dual X-ray imaging detector was fabricated in the process of ETRI. And its dark current and quantum efficiency, terminal capacitance were measured. It was proven that the Lanex Fast B coupled HED were a sufficient candidate to replace the CsI(Tl) commerced in dual X-ray system, since these give a strong signal, overcoming system noise. Finally dual X-ray image was acquired through correction of the LED X-ray Image and the HED X-ray Image.

        환경방사능 측정을 통한 전남·북 산림지역의 안정성 분석

        This study is intended to provide radiation stability information to the local residents throughmeasurements and analyses of the environmental radiation levels in the natural environments ofJeollanamdo and Jeollabukdo. Three environmental samples, including water, tree leaves, and soil, werecollected in seven popular recreational forests, selected from forests in Jeollanamdo and Jeollabukdoincluding national parks, in July and August, 2013. The control group was determined after referring tothe emission concentration of activity in other regions and the environmental radioactivity concentrationdata released by KINS in 2012 and in conformity with Nuclear Safety Law and Recommendations ofUNSCEAR and ICRP. The collected samples underwent air drying preprocess before removing organicmatters (tree branches, fallen leaves, and gravels) out of them, and the pre-treated samples were driedusing a vacuum oven, followed by the gamma detection using High Purity Germanium Detector (HPGe)and Multi-Channel Pulse Height Analyzer (MCA) after conducting measurement per sample for a period of80,000 seconds. As results, the level of environmental radiation was 40K 0.36 Bg/kg that did not exceed thereported environmental radiation levels detected at tree leaves by KINS in 2012, 137Cs 71.5Bq/g and 40K66.792 Bq/kg, while 137Cs was not detected. In case of surface soil sample, 137Cs 13.3 ± 0.4 Bq/kg and 40K810Bq/kg were confirmed in the study in comparison with the reported average radiation emission on thesurface soil by KINS in the same year, 137Cs 10.815 Bq/kg and 40K 835.66 ± 184.9 Bq/kg, which 137Csexceeded the KINS data while 40K was lower than the data. For the collected deep soil, 137Cs 14.7Bq/kg,40K 946Bq/kg were resulted, comparing them to 137Cs 21.5 Bq/kg and 40K 670 ± 16Bq/kg, showing higherconcentration of 137Cs and lower concentration of 40K than those in KINS data. When analyzing the entiresoil samples including surface and deep soils, 137Cs was confirmed to have less radiation level as the depthof soil increased, implying 40K was not affected by the depth of soil. When the radiation emissionconcentration was measured in-situ in the recreational forests, surface soil samples showed higher levelsthan the reported emission levels of environmental radioactivity by KINS in 2012 for 137Cs while the deepsoil exhibited lower level than the reported one. The radiation level was lower than the minimumacceptable level recommended by ICRP, UNSCEAR, and Nuclear Power Act. When the radiation level datafrom other regions were adopted as the control group, 137Cs showed relatively higher level in the studyarea. The results of this study are expected to be used as the basic public health data for visitors to theforests in Jeollanamdo and Jeollabukdo as well as for local residents in the future.

        동물병원 방사선관계종사자의 피폭선량 측정 및 평가

        The details of the radiation used in the current veterinary hospitals have been regulated by the regulations of animal diagnostic radiators. However, veterinary hospitals with a total workload of less than 10 mA·min per week are excluded from the legal obligation to administer radiation safety management. This study investigated the actual situation of small animal hospitals. Based on the results of this survey, the radiation dose of the radiation workers was measured and evaluated. The results of this study will be a meaningful assessment of small animal hospitals that are excluded from legal objectives.

        암의 고주파 온열요법과 병용치료의 유용성 평가 분석에 관한 연구

        In order to understand the usefulness to the high-frequency thermal therapy ofcancer staging according to the TNM classification treatment, was to evaluate the effect of highfrequencyhyperthermia treatment approach through other means and whether other organs,according to the combined presence of transition. Targeted to receive more than a total of 1 cyclehigh frequency heat treatment at C hospital that performed the high-frequency hyperthermiacancer patients 92 people out stage, depending on the presence or absence of metastasis, combinedhyperthermia patients for statistics before and after treatment the therapeutic effect of thetherapeutic classification. Out of a total of 92 patients decrease 11 patients, stable 71 patients, withincrease 10 patients, the rate of increase is the result of about 11% patients showed a decrease ofabout 89% is occupied by patients and a stable rate. There is strong evidence for the usefulness asa secondary therapy to maintain the quality of life, while slowing the progression of cancer by ahigh-frequency heat treatment.

        Radiation Exposure Dose of Handlers Using 18F-FDG in Small Animal Image Acquisition

        This study was conducted to confirm the safety of the operator’s radiation exposure in themicro PET-CT image acquisition experiment using the 18F-FDG. The usage of 18F-FDG and the exposuredose of handlers were measured at University B in Metropolitan City A, which uses 18F-FDG for microPET-CT image acquisition. As a result of the measurement, the exposure dose is far below the effectivedose limit of radiation workers, 50 mSv per year, and the equivalent dose limit of 500 mSv per yearfor hands, feet, and skin. has been measured Since these exposure doses can be further increasedaccording to the number of times of use of 18F-FDG, it is judged that the exposure dose compared to thehandling amount of 18F-FDG shown in this study can be used as reference data. In addition, as changedenvironments such as the use of materials other than unopened RI are occurring in education andresearch environments, such as the use of 18F-FDG at University B, radiation exposure with more interestin safety management by checking the factors of radiation exposure of the handler concerned We willalways do our best to reduce it.

        광주지역 동물병원의 동물보호자 및 방사선 작업종사자의 피폭선량의 측정 및 조사

        In modern society, having companion animals as family members is getting popular. According to the data from National Statistical Office, the population of people with companionanimals and pets is now over 10 million. The increase of companion animals led to an increaseof animal hospitals. Accordingly, radiation generating devices for diagnosis are being usedfrequently. In addition, as animal hospitals are increasingly using radiation generating devices,in order to protect the related workers and promote animal cares, the government enacted theregulations relating to operations and installations of the devices at animal hospitals. Therefore,this study handles the radiation safety management related stuffs by measuring and assessingradiation dose to the animal guardians and radiation workers in the animal hospitals in Gwangju.

        관상동맥 조영술 및 중재술시 요골동맥과 대퇴동맥의 사용에 관한 비교연구

        Coronary angiography and interventional study mostly use the methods of radial artery and Femoral artery. The results of 116 patients (65.% male with an average age of 63.3±11.54)who had Coronary angiography and interventional study treatments from June 12th, 2014 to September 2nd, 2014 at the Chonnam National University Hospital were analyzed. For patients who had an angiography with interventional study treatment were divided into two groups (group 1: radial artery, group 2: femoral artery) and analyzed. For the group that used the radial artery the frequency of Coronary angiography interventional study was lower (19.5% vs. 55.9%, p<0.001), and the inner radius was smaller (5.20±0.429french vs. 6.18±0.999french, p<0.001), and the amount of contrast media used was smaller (66.8±43.30cc vs. 105.7±60.30cc, p=0.001). However, there was no difference for gender, age, BMI, type of artery, radiation exposure duration and amount. In the sub-analysis, for the group that only had the Coronary angiography without the interventional study treatment and where the radial artery, the radiation exposure duration was longer than that of the group that used the femoral artery (392.30±205.263sec vs. 282.13±82.984sec, p=0.002). However, there were no differences for the other parameters. Also, for the group that had both the Coronary angiography and interventional study treatment showed no difference for all parameters. In conclusion, it can be stated that Coronary angiography that uses the radial artery and interventional study treatment, which is widely know to be comfortable for the patient and to also lower the risk for hemorrhaging, is a better and safer treatment method.

        유방촬영팬텀을 이용한 Film-Screen 방식과 DR 방식의 영상 비교 분석

        Recently, interests and utilization on Computed Radiography (CR) and Digital Radiography (DR) have tended to increase owing to an introduction of Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) and an accuracy control of special medical equipment for breast imaging. The present paper compared the breast image of Film-Screen methods and DR methods using the breast photographing system for accuracy of breast cancer diagnosis. We use Mammo phantom and photograph in F/S System methods and DR System methods. Each image uses the basis of assessment of evaluation tests and 10 people radiation students are visible fiber, Calcification and mass degree score. It compared the average score of each received image, then it classified the above schedule score with passing. The cellulose (fiber), the calcareous sinter (calcification)and the bell lump (mass) received a high score in DR and Film-Screen methods order. In this study, the breast image of DR methods had a better picture quality compared to the breast image of Film-Screen methods, and had received high score from all items. In DR methods, the image quality was dependent on the monitor resolution. The higher the monitor resolution, the better the quality of the image produced. According to quality control in Film- Screen methods, we found out that there was a decrease in the quality of the picture being produced.
