        선천성 관상동정맥루의 방사선학적 고찰

        8 cases of congenital coronary artery fistula of child age group, diagnosed by cineangiography and confirmed by operation at Seoul National Univ. Hospital in recent 9 years were analysed. SUMMARIES : 1. The overall incidence was 0.18% of those who underwent cardiac cineangiography. 2. Age distribution was from 3 months to 14 years. 3. Important physical findings were continuous murmur and ischemic change in EKG. 4. Chest X-ray findings were non-specific but mild cardiomegaly and normal pulmonary vascularity. 5. In cinecardiography, origin of coronary artery fistula was right in 1 case and single left coronary artery in 1 case. 6. Associated anomalies were singlecoronary artery in 1 case, ASD in 1 case and VSD in 1 case. 7. For accurate diagnosis of congenital coronary artery fistula, biplane cineangiography is an essential procedure.

        알부민 용액의 자기공명영상 신호강도에 관한 실험적 연구

        This in vitro study attempted to correlate magnetic resonance (MR) signal intensity with concentration of albumin solution in magnetic field strength of 2.0 tesla (T) and 0.5T. MR Imaging of bovine serum albumin solutions of various concentrations ranging from 0 to 40g/㎗ was performed on both 2.0T and 0.5T MR units. The relative (with respect to normal saline) signal intensities of each albumin solution were measured in T-1weighted, proton on each pulse sequence, and compared between 2.0T and 0.5T. Additionally, the albumin concentrations showing signal intensities identical to those of white mater, cortical gray matter and cerebrospinal fluid(CSF) of normal brain MRI were determined by visual comparison of those images. 1. On T1-weighted (SE 400-500 msec/30 msec) images under 2.0T and 0.5T field strengh, the signal intensity increased with increasing albumin concentrations up to about 30-35 g/㎗ and then decreased. For the solutions ranging from 0 to about 5 g/㎗ concentrati n, the signal intensities appeared isointense to normal saline on visual inspection. 2. On proton density-weighted (SE 2000-255 msec/30 msec) images under 2.0T and 0.5T field strength, the signal intensity slightly increased with increasing albumin concentrations upto about 7.5-10g/㎗, and then gradually deceased. 3. On T-2 weighted (SE 2000-2500 msec/80-100msec) images under 2.0T and 0.5T field strength, the signal intensity slightly increased with increasing albumin concentrations upto about 7.5-10g/㎗, and then gradually decreased. Above the concentration of about 25-30g/㎗, the signal intensity appeared lover than that of normal saline on visual inspection. 4. compared with the signal intensities of normal brain structures on T-1 weighted images under 2.0T and 0.5T field strength, the signal intensities of the albumin solution below 2.5-5g/㎗ concentration were similar to that of CSF, and those of about 5-15 g/㎗ concentration and about 15-25 g/㎗ corresponded to cortical gray m tter and periventricular white matter, respectively. On proton density-weighted images, the signal intensities of CSF, cortical gray matter and white matter were all similar and corresponded to albumin concentrations of 0 to 2.5-5.0 g/㎗ and above 30-35 g/㎗ concentration. The solution ranging from 5-.5 v to 25.-30 g/㎗ concentration showed higher signal intensities than brain parenchyma. On T-2 weighted images, the signal intensities of the solutions of 0 to 25-30 g/㎗ concentration appeared identical to that of CSF, and those of higher concentration were similar to those of brain parenchyma. 5. Any difference in signal intensity between 2.0T and 0.5 T could not be recognized by visual comparison, although the signal intensities with 0.5T were generally slightly higher o T-1 weight images and slightly lower in proton density-and T2-weighted images. In conclusion, since albumin solution shows variable MR signal intensities, depending on its concentration, and especially shows low sig al intensity at the concentration above about 35 g/㎗ on T1-weighted images, even pure proteinaceous cysts are supposed to have ver variable signal intensities in clinical MR images.

        생검총을 이용한 초음파 유도하의 경피적 생검

        Core tissue for histologic study is believed by many pathologists to be more diagnostic than material from needle aspiration. Recently introduced automated biopsy gun simplifies core biopsies with increased quantity and quality of samples. Authors performed 38 percutaneous biopsies from 38 patients with 18G automated biopsy guns under US guide. Diagnostic target tissues were obtained in 33 biopsies (87%) inadequate tissues in 4 (11%), and adequate but not of target tissue in 1(3%). There was no major complication requiring treatment, but pain needing analgesics and pain with nausea / vomiting were experienced in 2 and 1 biopsies respectively. Average number of needle passes was 1.5(1-5) We concluded that US-guided gun biopsy was a easy and sage way to obtain tissue samples of good quantity and quality, especially useful in hospitals without constant availability of specialists in cytopathology.

        고려인삼과 미국삼의 종간잡종으로부터 재분화된 식물체의 특성

        교잡 1세대의 화서조직에서 재분화된 F1 유식물체는 고려인삼 유식물체에 비하여 지상부와 지하부 생육이 모두 양호하였으며, 줄기 색도 고려인삼 재분화 식물체의 줄기에 비하여 자색을 강하게 띄었으며 잎의 색도 진한 녹색을 나타내었다. 천풍, 연풍, 선원 등의 고려인삼의 품종 내에서는 Internal Transcribed Spacer (ITS)영역의 DNA PCR 패턴간에 차이점이 나타나지 않았으나, 고려인삼과 미국인삼은 각기 다른 PCR 패턴을 보였으며, 고려인삼과 미국인삼간의 교잡 1세대는 고려인삼과 미국인삼에 나타나는 고유한 PCR패턴을 모두 나타내었다. 교잡 1세대에서 유기한 캘러스와 재분화식물체는 조직배양 모본인 교잡 1세대와 동일한 PCR 패턴을 보임에 따라 교잡 1세대의 조직배양체는 ribosomal DNA의 ITS영역에서 유전적인 안정성을 나타내는 것으로 확인되었다. The characteristics of plantlets redifferentiated from calli of F1 hybrid between Panax ginseng and Panax quinquefolius were investigated. Growth of plantlets redifferentiated from F1 hybrid was superior to the plants redifferentiated from Korean ginseng. Stem color of plantlets redifferentiated from F1 hybrid was more purple than that from Korean ginseng and leaf color of the former was also greener than that of the latter. Chunpoong, Yunpoong and Seonweon which are belonged to Korean ginseng showed same PCR band(A), while American ginseng showed different PCR band (B) in Internal Transcribed Spacer (ITS) region. F1 hybrid exhibited both A and B PCR band which belonged to Korean ginseng and American ginseng, respectively. F1 hybrid calli and plantlets redifferentiated from F1 hybrid calli showed same PCR band with that of F1 hybrid plant in ITS region. Therefore it was confirmed that piantlets redifferentiated from F1 hybrid exhibited genetic stability in ITS region.

        전이성 골종양의 방사선학적 고찰 - 전이성 골종양 152예의 분석 -

        Radiographic and scintigraphic analysis of osseous system were performed in 152 cases of metastatic bone tumors with definite primary sites of malignancies. Bone involvement by hematologic malignancies was not considered in this study. RESULTS : 1. Among total of 152 patients, 100 patients were male and 52 patients were female. 2. Regarding age distribution, 6the decde was the peak and 5th to 7th decades were the majority. 3. Among total of 141 patients who underwent both bone scintigraphy and conventional bone radiography, 70 patients were scintigraphically positive and radiographically negative. Only 2 patients were scintigraphically negative and radiographically positive. 4. Lung cancer was the leading cause and stomach cancer, breast cancer, prostate cancer and hepatoma were in the decreasing order of causes. In male, lung cancer was the leading cause of metastatic bone tumor. Prostate cancer, stomach cancer and hepatoma were in the decreasing order of causes. In female, reast cancer was leading cause and stomach cancer, uterine cervix cancer and lung cancer and lung cancer were in the decreasing order of causes. 5. The ribs, spine and pelvis were mostcommoly involved. Skull, femur and humerus were also involved frequently. Metastasis distal to the knees and elvows occurred less frequently. 6. Osteolytic metastasis occurred most frequently. Among total of 61 patients with osteolytic metastasis, lung, stomach, breast and liver were metastasis, lung, stomach, breast and liver were the frequent primary sites of decreasing order. Among total of 16patients with osteoblastic metastasis, prostate, lung and stomach were frequent primary site of decreasing order. Among total of 10 patients with mixed metastasis, breast, stomach and prostate.

        인삼 배발생세포에서 재분화된 유식물체의 뿌리 발육에 미치는 Phytagel의 영향

        This study was carried out to find out the optimum hardening condition for ginseng plantlets redifferentiated by tissue culture method. While a lot of root hair were observed on the root of seedling grown on the soil, few root hair were observed on the root of plantlet redifferentiated in vitro. On the medium solidified with 0.1 % phytagel, root hair was not observed and root weight, root width and laternal root development were also very poor. While raising the phytagel concentration on the media, root hair began to increase and root weight, root width and laternal root development were improved. Vascular tissue of plantlet grown on the medium with 0.1 % phytagel was very poor, but that of plantlet grown on the medium with 0.8% phytagel was very good.

        인삼 신품종의 뿌리부위별 진세노사이드 함량 및 패턴비교

        인삼의 부위별 진세노사이드 패턴 유사성과 상관관계를 알아보고자 본 시험을 수행하였다. 진세노사이드 단위함량과 총함량은 고풍이 각각 18.9 ㎎/g, 596 ㎎/g으로 가장 높았고 연풍, 금풍, 선풍이 뒤를 이었으며, 천풍은 각각 8.0 ㎎/g, 209.5 ㎎/g으로 고풍의 절반에도 미치지 못하였다. 부위별로 보면 뇌두의 진세노사이드 단위함량과 총함량은 연풍이 가장 높았으며, 동체와 지근 및 세근에서는 고풍이 높았다. 뿌리와 각 부위의 진세노사이드 패턴 유사성은 지근과 뇌두가 각기 0.95, 0.94로 높았으며 동체와 세근은 각기 0.78, 0.80으로 다소 낮았다. 지근에서 품종별 진세노사이드 패턴 유사성을 보면 천풍, 연풍, 고풍, 금풍이 각기 0.98, 0.98, 0.96, 0.98로 아주 높았으며, 선풍은 0.87로 다소 낮았다. 뿌리와 각 부위의 진세노사이드 상관계수는 지근에서 0.843으로 가장 높았으며 동체, 세근, 뇌두 순으로 낮아졌다. 또한 단위함량과 총함량의 상관계수는 0.933으로 매우 높게 나타났다. This study was carried out to evaluate the basic information on ginsenoside contents and pattern similarity in five cultivars of Panax ginseng C.A. Meyer. Among five cultivars the unit content and total content of ginsenosides were the highest in Gopoong cultivar as 18.9 ㎎/g and 596 ㎎/root, respectively. The unit content and total content of ginsenosides decreased in the order of Yunpoong, Gumpoong, Seonpoong and Chunpoong cultivar. Ginsenoside pattern similarity between tap root and lateral root was high as 0.95 but that between tap root and fine root was low as 0.72. Correlation of ginsenoside contents between tap root and lateral root exhibited the highest value as 0.843 and decreased in the order of main root, fine root, and rhizome. And the correlation value between unit content and total content of ginsenoside was very high as 0.933.
