        Apparatus Exercizes mean the sport performed, as a meditation, by equipped implements. Gymnastics usually includes Free Exercises, Apparatus Exercises, and Instrument Exercises. In Succession, Apparatus Exercises for men can be divided into Horizontal Bar, Parallel Bars, Rings, pommel Horse, Vaulting, and Floor Exercise if classified by events. and the above metioned Gymastics exert their effect on the improvement of the human physical fitness. Especially, Apparatus Exercises are going on developing as a sport through olympic games or the world championship contest, and also play an important role in school physical Education. I came to investigate, in the documentry records centering the western history, how the appratatus Exercises for men included 6 kinds of sporting events have been developing. As the result 1 reached the conclusion that the original forms of Apparatus Exercises, Horizontal Bar, Paralled Bars, Pommel Hores, are initiated by Mr Jahn (1778∼1852). It was from the 9th the world Gymnastics championship Contest, Ruksembulg 1930 that Apparatus Exercises for men chosen with 6 kinds of events came to be performed, and the first olympic game in which the above sport was accepted as an event was 10th, Rosangles game, 1932.

      • 운동이 혈청과 조직 Cholesterol 수준에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of the study was to investigate the effects of exercise on serum and liver tissue cholesterol levels using rats of Sprague-Dawely breed. Fifty-six female rats were randomly categorized into three treatment groups ; one control group-Basal diet(BD), and two experimental groups-0.4% Cholesterol added to BD and 0.8% Cholesterol added to BD. Exercise group was trained on a rat treadmill at 1km. 1 hour /day for six weeks. Control group was rested in a cage. Body weight, Serum total cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol, Total-C/HDL-C ratio, and Total-lipid, Cholesterol of liver tissue were measured. Results shown were as follow : 1. When 0.8% cholesterol was added, exercise group was significantly higher in serum HDL-C than resting group. 2. Exercise group showed a significantly higher Total -C/HDL-C ratio in blood when compared to resting group. 3. Resting group showed a significantly higher total-lipid level of liver tissue when compared to exercise group. 4. Resting group showed a significantly higher cholesterol level of liver tissue when compared to exercise group.

        We can understand the appearance of physical education of that time by grasping GutsMuts' thoughts. Therefore with the purpose of realizing why the physical education become necessary motive, by investigating the conference books concerend with physical education activities of GutsMuts, I came to research and so reached the conclusion as follows. 1. It is considered that the motive was to make the prosperous society by promoting the health of body. 2. Another motive was to make human beings adopted and developed in the nature in order to .make them grow normally. 3. It is guessed that the motive was made with the purpose of defending their native countries. 4. It is estimated that upbringing the human beings as well-rounded persons should be accomplished by the physical educational method.

        유산소성 운동능력이 당뇨병 환자의 혈중 지질 수준에 미치는 영향

        To study the effect of oxygen consumption on plasma lipoprotein, non-diabetic women(n=47) and diabetic patients(n=27) were checked by medical process and exercise stress testing. Subjects were devided into three groups that were low, medium and high aerobic power. Results of this study are following. %Body fat was not different between non-diabetes women and diabetes patients. At non-diabetic women, blood glucose was 90.0∼96.7㎎/dℓ, and that of low aerobic power was significantly(p<0.05) increased than that of medium and high aerobic power. At diabetic patients, blood glucose was 181.2∼193.5㎎/dℓ, but it was not significant among groups. Total cholesterol was 200.1∼217.2㎎/dℓ in non-diabetic women and 211.1∼236.3㎎/dℓ in diabetic patients, but not significant among groups. HDL-C was 46.3∼52.2㎎/dℓ in non-diabetic women and 46.9∼52.5㎎/dℓ in diabetic patients, but not significant among groups. LDL-C was 126.1∼139.7㎎/dℓ in non-diabetic women and 140.0∼159.5㎎/dℓ in diabetic patients, but not significant among groups. Triglycerides was 113.1∼156.1㎎/dℓ in non-diabetic women and 121.2∼141.5㎎/dℓ in diabetic patients, but the high aerobic power group of non-diabetic women was significantly(p<0.05) decreased from lower aerobic power. From this results, Plasma lipoprotein of high aerobic power group was admirable than that of low power group. Therefore the diabetic patient have to improve their aerobic power to protect from complication of diabetes.

        운동생리학 : 동양적 신체 수련이 여성의 골밀도에 미치는 영향

        본 연구의 목적은 동양적 신체 수련이 여성의 골밀도에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고자 동양적 신체 수련중인 20세 이상의 여성 25명을 대상으로 연령대별, 수련기간별로 분류하여 척추골(L₂- L₄)과 대퇴골 (femoral neck, ward’s triangle, trochanteric area)의 골밀도와의 관계를 분석하였다. 연령과 골밀도, 수련기간과 골밀도와의 관계를 분석한 결과 유의한 차이를 발견하지 못하였다.결론적으로 연구 결과에 기초하여 볼 때 동양적 신체 수련이 연령과 신체수련기간이 증가함에 따라 골밀도에 뚜렷하게 긍정적인 영향을 주지는 못하였다. 동양적 신체 수련이 골밀도에 영향을 미치지 못한 것은 저항성운동의 부족이었다고 사료된다. 이에 골밀도를 증가시키기 위해서는 동양적 수련과 동시에 골밀도를 증가시킬 수 있는 운동방법이 요구된다고 사료된다. To study the effect of traditional physical fitness effect on bone mass in women by age and training period we examined the spine and femur of 25 females who are in traditional physical fitness training program.Bone mass has no relation with age nor with training period.The lack of resistance training effect was a main reason for traditional physical fitness training having no effect on bone mass.In order to increase bone mass, a training method for the enhancement of bone mass should be performed with a traditional physical fitness training program at the same time.

        It is appeared that, by understanding the appearance motive of Olympic game through researching historical conferencebooks about it, as a result of suggesting the direction to the tendency of modern olympic game. 1. The basic cause of ancient olympic game. 2. Area of olympia. 3. The olympia seen in the history. 4. The legends of olympia are modeled by this investigation. The result that was derived from investigation of the above provisions has been appeared as following. It came to the conculusion that it was caused into prevention of war among polis of all over the areas, came to be in pursuit of the peace, and also had the purpose of admiring the god, zeus.

        자연과학편 : 국민체조(國民體操)와 줄넘기운동(運動)의 운동강도(運動强度)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究)

        My conclusion is based on the observation of heart rate and maximum heart rate of four physical education major students at the age of about 23, who have performed nation exercise and jump-rope for four minutes and thirty-seven seconds. The intensity of the national exercise for the time period shows 112.7 ± 74 and the ratio of the heart rate to the maximum heart is 58 per cent, while the intensity of the jump-rope shows 152 ± 14.68 and the ratio of the heart rate to the maximum heart rate is 80.7 per cent. Therefore the significance is p<0.001, which Indicates a great difference between the national exercise and the jump-rope.
