      • Tunable Self-Assembly of Block Copolymers into Colloids with Triply Periodic Minimal Surfaces based on Automated Chromatographic Separation

        Investigating morphologies of block copolymers with a narrow stability region has been challenging due to the morphology being sensitive to the composition, requiring careful synthesis and control of the volume fraction of block copolymers. Here, automated chromatographic separation is applied for generating a library of block copolymers, which enabled accessing compositionally sensitive inverse bicontinuous phases. Parent polystyrene-b- poly(ethylene oxide) (PS-b-PEO) diblock copolymer with highly asymmetric composition (f<sub>PS</sub> = 93.3%) was synthesized in large scale, which was then subjected to chromatographic separation to result in a series of PS-b-PEOs with varying volume fraction. Solution self-assembly of each fractions allowed particles with tunable morphology from vesicles to colloidal cubosomes with primitive cubic phase and double diamond phase as a function of initial concentration and volume fraction of block copolymers.

        곡선부 시각왜곡현상을 고려한 인지곡선반경 산정에 관한 연구

        도로 곡선부에서는 운전자의 시각변화로 인해 속도변화가 크게 발생하여 직선부에 비해 상대적으로 사고심각도가 크게 나타난다. 특히, 곡선부에서 발생하는 위험요소 중 하나인 시각왜곡현상은 도로 기하구조에 따라 다르게 나타난다. 실제 곡선부 시각왜곡현상은 도로설계 시 반드시 고려되어야 하는 주요 설계요소임에도 불구하고, 이에 대한 정량적 설계기준 수립연구가 미흡한 실정이다. 이에 시각왜곡현상을 고려한 곡선부 도로 설계기준 수립이 절실히 요구되어진다. 본 연구에서는 곡선부 운전자 행태와 운전자 시각특성 및 인지곡선반경에 관한 선행 연구를 고찰하고, 지방부 2차로 곡선부 시각왜곡현상을 고려하여 수학적 기법을 적용한 이론적 인지곡선반경 모형식을 개발하였다. 또한, 이론적 인지곡선반경 모형식을 토대로 이론적 시각왜곡도를 산출한 후, 기존 연구의 경험적 시각왜곡도와 비교 · 분석을 통하여 이론적 인지곡선반경 모형식의 오차범위를 검증하였다. 그 결과, 이론적 인지곡선반경 모형식에서 실제 곡선반경이 증가할수록 오차범위가 감소하는 추세로 나타나 실제 도로 곡선부의 특성을 잘 반영하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과를 토대로, 향후 도로 곡선부 설계시 안전상의 결함을 사전에 제거함으로써 도로 곡선부 위험요소를 최소화하고, 인간공학적 도로설계기준 개발 향상에 이바지할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. The seriousness of a traffic accident appears relatively higher on the curve sections compared with the straight sections due to a change in speed caused by a change in the driver's sight. In particular, the visual distortion phenomenon, one of the dangerous factors taking place on the curve sections, appears different according to the road's geometric design, Although it is a genuinely principal design factor which should be necessarily considered in designing a road, the previous researches on establishing the design standards for it have been insufficiently conducted. As a result, the establishment of the road design standards for the curve sections considering the sight distortion phenomenon is desperately required. This research examined the previous researches on the driver's behaviors, the driver's sight characteristics and the perceived curve radius on the curve sections, and developed the theoretical model of perceived curve radius to which a mathematical technique is applied in consideration of the visual distortion phenomenon on the two-lane curve sections in a local area. In addition, after the theoretical visual distortion was calculated on the basis of the theoretical model of perceived curve radius, the range of error on the theoretical recognition radius model formula was verified through comparing it with the previous researches' experiential visual distortion level and analyzing both of them. As a result, it was observed that as the curve radius practically increases in the theoretical recognition curve radius, the range of error tends to go down, which reflects well the characteristics of the curve sections on the road. Based on this research, it is expected that this research will be helpful to eliminate the safety defects when designing the curve sections and contribute to develop the road design standards considering human factors in the future.

        유전자 알고리즘과 신경망 이론의 결합에 의한 신호교차로 위험도 예측모형 개발에 관한 연구

        2010년 말 현재 우리나라의 자동차등록대수는 1,748만 대에 육박할 정도로 비약적인 증가를 보이고 있다. 자동차의 급격한 증가는 오늘날 우리가 직면한 심각한 사회문제 중 하나인 교통사고를 증가시키고, 이로 인해 인명피해 및 경제적 손실을 초래하고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 유전자 알고리즘과 신경망 이론의 결합에 의한, 향상된 신호교차로 위험도를 예측하는 모형을 개발하여, 장래 교통사고 안전대책 수립시 근간이 되는 기초자료를 제공함으로써, 교통사고를 줄이는데 도움이 되고자 한다. 본 연구에서는, 첫 번째로 교통사고와 교통혼잡이 빈번하게 발생하는 신호교차로를 대상으로 접근로별 교통량과 도로 기하구조 요소를 파악하였고, 교통사고와 교통상충간의 순위상관관계분석을 실시하여 통계적 유의성을 파악하였으며, 교통사고와 교통상충을 적용한 선형회귀모형을 구축하였다. 두 번째로, 유전자 알고리즘과 신경망 이론의 결합에 의한 신호교차로 위험도 예측모형은 신호교차로 교통량 및 도로 기하구조 요소, 교통상충의 특성변수를 적용하여 개발하였다. 마지막으로, 신호교차로 교통사고건수 실측값과 개발모형의 예측값에 대한 적합도 분석을 통해 신뢰수준을 검증한 결과, 개발모형의 신뢰도와 정확도가 기존의 모형에 비해 우수한 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로, 향후 본 연구를 통해 개발된 교통사고위험도 예측모형을 신호교차로 교통안전정책 수립과 교통안전개선사업에 사용할 경우, 전반적으로 교통안전관련사업의 비용/효율성을 극대화할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. In 2010, the number of registered vehicles reached almost at 17.48 millions in Korea. This dramatic increase of vehicles influenced to increase the number of traffic accidents which is one of the serious social problems and also to soar the personal and economic losses in Korea. Through this research, an enhanced intersection hazard prediction model by combining Genetic Algorithm and Artificial Neural Network will be developed in order to obtain the important data for developing the countermeasures of traffic accidents and eventually to reduce the traffic accidents in Korea. Firstly, this research has investigated the influencing factors of road geometric features on the traffic volume of each approaching for the intersections where traffic accidents and congestions frequently take place and, a linear regression model of traffic accidents and traffic conflicts were developed by examining the relationship between traffic accidents and traffic conflicts through the statistical significance tests. Secondly, this research also developed an intersection hazard prediction model by combining Genetic Algorithm and Artificial Neural Network through applying the intersection traffic volume, the road geometric features and the specific variables of traffic conflicts. Lastly, this research found out that the developed model is better than the existed forecasting models in terms of the reliability and accuracy by comparing the actual number of traffic accidents and the predicted number of accidents from the developed model. In conclusion, it is expect that the cost/effectiveness of any traffic safety improvement projects can be maximized if this developed intersection hazard prediction model by combining Genetic Algorithm and Artificial Neural Network use practically at field in the future.

        In this paper deals with a unique method for measuring vehicle states such as body sideslip angle and tire sideslip angle using GPS velocity information in conjunction with other sensors. A method for integrating Inertial Navigation System (INS) sensors with GPS measurements to provide higher update rate estimates of the vehicle states is presented, and the method can be used to estimate the tire cornering stiffness. The experimental results for the GPS velocity-based sideslip angle measurement and cornering stiffness estimates are compared with the theoretical predictions. From the experimental results, it can be concluded that the proposed method has an advantage for future implementation in a vehicle safety system.<br/>

        林業稅制에 關한 考察 : 韓國, 日本, 美國의 制度에 대하여

        Introduced with a review of general taxation principles in Korea, the article provides details of the main type of tax related to forest resource management. The forest taxation of Japan and the United states is also examined to compare with the Korean legislation. The basic analysis is made upon provisions and interpretation of each tax, its history, and its influence on forest management. For Korean forest taxation, some points to be considered are as follows. 1) Since 500,000 won of special income tax deduction from total forest revenue is not likely to be remaining with its absolute value, it should be variable by socio-economic situation. 2) Income tax exemption from newly reforested land for 40 years may shorten rotation and induce heavy harvest cutting for long-term commercial timber species. 3) With a few exceptions, general forest managers are not offered favors in death tax and property tax for their forest land. Taxes have frequently been called the primary impediment factor for timber production because the effectiveness of incentives of programs has not been provided. Considered to the specific characteristics of forestry and resource conservation, Korean forest taxation should be revised and complemented to encourage forest management or maintenance.

        개심술에서 Thromboelastography 로 평가한 Tranexamic Acid 의 섬유소용해 억제 효과

        Background: Activated fibrinolysis during cardiopulmonary bypass(CPB) is one of the causes of post CPB coagulopathy. Antifibirinolytics such as tranexamic acid have been administered prophylactically before CPB to decrease postCPB bleeding. However, their routinely application has been challenged as regarding its thrombotic complication. This study was performed to evaluate the effect of tranexamic acid administered before CPB by thromboelastography. Methods: 50 open heart surgical patients were randomly selected and devided into two groups, control(N=25) and tranexamic acid group(N=25). In tranexamic acid group. 125mg of tranexamic acid were singly infused before vena caval and aortic cannulation. All of parameters of thromboelastography (TEG) and fibrin degradation products measured before and after CPB were compared between two groups. Results: There were no significant differences in fibrinolytic indexes of TEGs between control group and tranexamic group afte CPB. And there were also no changes in fibrinolysis index between before and after CPB in both groups. The concentration of FDP did not changed after CPB in both groups. Conclusions: It may be considered that prophylactic administration of tranexamic acid before CPB to reduce post-CPB bleeding would not be recommended routinely.
