마늘의 향미성분을 가급적 그대로 유지하고 착즙수율을 향상시킬 수 있는 착즙방법을 개발하고자 하였다. 착즙수율을 향상시키기 위하여 protopectinase와 복합효소(cellulase, pectinesterase 및 β-glucanase 등이 혼합된 효소)를 마늘펄프로부터 1차로 착즙하고 남은 잔사에 적용하여 마늘주스의 수율증가율과 향미성분 변화를 측정하였다. 착즙 전 마늘펄프 무게에 대하여 효소를 0.04, 0.08 및 0.12%씩 가하여 30, 60, 90 및 120분간 각각 가수분해 하였다. 마늘주스의 수율 증가는 최대수율에 도달할 때까지 효소의 첨가량 및 반응시간의 증가와 더불어 증가하였다. 0.12%의 pro-topectinase를 첨가하여 90분간 가수분해하여 착즙한 결과 수율은 13.8%가 증가하였다. 복합효소를 0.12% 첨가하여 90분간 가수분해 후 착즙한 경우에는 최대수율인 14.5%의 증가효과가 있었다. GC로 휘발성 향기성분을 분석한 결과 효소를 처리하지 않은 대조구(control)와 총 피크면적으로 계산하여 비교할 경우 감소하였다. 0.12%의 protopectinase를 가하여 60분간 분해 후 제조한 마늘 주스의 휘발성 향기성분 향량은 약 6%가 감소하였다. 마늘주스의 유리당 함량은 0.12%의 protopectinase를 가하여 60분간 분해후 제조한 마늘 주스가 대조구와 가장 유사한 함량을 나타내었다. 유리아미노산 함량은 사용한 효소의 종류에 영향을 크게 받지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 결과로부터 0.12%의 protopec-tinase를 마늘착즙잔사에 가하여 60분간 분해 후 착즙한 액을 마늘펄프로부터 직접 착즙한 액과 혼합하면 착즙수율을 최대로 증가시키고 향미 성분의 변화를 최소화시킬 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. In this study, attempts were made to develop a garlic juice extraction method that would result in minimum changes in quality. Protopectinase and a mutienzyme containing cellulase, pectinesterase, β-glucanase, etc. were applied to garlic residue after first extraction, and the yields of garlic juice and the flavor component changes of the juices were investigated. Enzyme concentrations of 0.04, 0.08, and 0.12% which were based on pulp weight before extraction were added and allowed to hydrolyze for 30, 60, 90, and 120 min., respectively. Increase in the garlic juice yield was observed according to the amount of enzyme added and the reaction time until reaching a maximum point. When 0.12% protopectinase was applied to the garlic residue for 90 min, the yield increased by 13.8%. Under the same conditions, when multienzyme was applied to the garlic residue, the yield increased by 14.5%, which was considered the maximum. The flavor compounds decreased when compared with the total GC peak: area of garlic juice prepared without enzymes (control). The volatile flavor compounds in garlic juice prepared with 0.12% protopectinase for 60 min decreased by 6%. The free sugars profile of the garlic juice prepared with 0.12% protopectinase for 60 min was similar to that of the control. The type of enzyme used did not affect the free amino acid profile of the garlic juice. These results indicate that the optimum conditions for extraction of garlic juice are hydrolyzing the residue with 0.12% protopectinase for 60 min, extracting garlic juice from the hydrolyzed reside, and then combining the extracted juice with the first extraction.
비뉴턴유체 해석을 위한 Fully Implicit ISPH 모델 개발

Highly viscous fluids are used in a wide range of applications such as natural disasters, computer graphics, and food industries, etc. Numerical approaches are mainly adopted to reproduce complex and nonlinear phenomena of highly viscous fluids. In this study, the fully implicit Incompressible Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (ISPH) model was developed to analyze highly viscous fluids, and the model was verified by comparing with the analytic solutions of Poiseuille flow and the experimental data of dam break. The proposed model can overcome the limitation of the large computational time interval that inevitably occur in the analysis of highly viscous fluids, so that it is expected that the model will be widely applicable to practical industries.
차량용 액추에이터의 저소음 기어 설계인자 도출을 통한 최적설계 연구

Because of customer’s demands for comfortable and silent vehicle, a large number of studies about the noise level reduction at the first step of vehicle design have been accomplished. Each component attached on the engine has to be needed the effort to improve the noise characteristic, but it is also important to solve that problems by means of systematic approach under the component assembly conditions. When Motor actuator is operating by ECU control signal, the noise source is generated at gear-train. This paper presents the modification of gear tooth form optimized for reducing the noise level by optimal design.
불안민감성과 불확실성에 대한 인내력 부족이 걱정 증상에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 대학생, 대학원생을 대상으로 하여 불안민감성 및 불확실성에 대한 인내력 부족과 걱정 증상 간의 관계에서, 지각된 통제감이 매개하는지 알아보는 데 연구목적이 있다. 이를 위해, 대학생 및 대학원생 252명으로 하여금 불안민감성 척도, 불확실성에 대한 인내력 부족 척도, 지각된 통제감 척도, 걱정 증상 척도 질문지를 작성하게 하였다. 구조방정식을 사용한 결과, 불안민감성 및 불확실성에 대한 인내력 부족이 걱정 증상에 미치는 영향이 지각된 통제감에 의해 완전 매개 되는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 기질 변인인 불안민감성과 성향 요인인 불확실성에 대한 인내력 부족이 상호관련성을 통제한 후에도 걱정 증상에 미치는 영향력이 유의하다는 사실을 검증했다는 점에서 걱정 증상의 모형을 확장하는 데 기초를 제공한다. This study examined mediating effect of perceived control in relationships among anxiety sensitivity, intolerance of uncertainty, and worry symptoms in college and graduate students. Two hundred fifty-two undergraduate and graduate students completed Anxiety Sensitivity Scale, Intolerance of Uncertainty Scale, Anxiety Control Scale, and Worry Symptoms Scale. As a result of using the structural equation, the relationship between anxiety sensitivity and intolerance of uncertainty, and worry symptoms were fully mediated by perceived control. This study provides a basis for expanding the model of worry symptoms in that the anxiety sensitivity as a temperament variable and intolerance of uncertainty as a propensity factor has a significant effect on worry symptoms even after controlling the interrelationship.
ISPH-CGDEM을 활용한 제트류에 의한 3차원 세굴 수치해석

Scour by jet flow is one of the common characteristics between fluid and solid particles in many study fields such as mechanical, civil, and environmental engineering, etc. In this study, Incompressible Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (ISPH) was employed to simulate fluid motions and overcome the weaknesses of WCSPH (Weakly-Compressible Smoothed Particles Hydrodynamics). Coarse-grained Discrete Element Method (CGDEM) was used to simulate soil particles and reduce computational time using larger particle sizes for the simulations than the experiments. The interaction between fluid and solid particles was computed with the fluid porosity. The simulation result was reasonably validated with the experiment results in terms of scour depth and length in time. Furthermore, the CGDEM showed a significant reduction in computational time cost. Thus, the developed model improved the applicability of large-scale simulations.
