The characteristics of noise and vibration by a heavy impact source was studied. The triggering method was used for increasing the reliability and stability to measure the level of sound pressure. sound intensity and vibration acceleration. A simple finite element model and a rigid body analysis method were suggested to calculate the natural frequencies of the multi-layer floor system. The results show that the resilient materials decrease the natural frequency of the reinforced concrete slab, make a resonance with dominant driving frequency in the low frequency region, and increase the vibration and noise level. In this study, the sound absorption characteristics of foam aluminum which is an environment-friendly materials for buildings is elucidated and the effect of sound absorption coefficient is measured by applying to the existing gymnasium. This experiment reports that the sound absorption coefficients by various sealing are similar and in measuring the coefficient by thickness, it results in the best efficiency at the thickness 21mm of foam aluminum and mounting depth 50mm. In the simulation of room acoustics, the reverberation time of the existing gymnasium is decreased by about 0.6sec, and the definition(D50) is improved by about 10%
Synthesis of Ag nanostructures by green chemistry method

Noble metal nanocrystals with controlled sizes and shapes have received great interest in recent years due to the strong correlations between the size and shape of a nanocrystals and its electronic, optical, magnetic and catalytic properties. The interest has also been augmented by the technological applications of these nanocrystals in various areas including catalysis, sensing, imaging, and biomedicine. The various research groups have produced Ag nanostructures by natural reducing agents like tea, coffee, various plant extracts and polysaccharides. But the yield or product they obtained was polydispersed which is not feasible for commercial purpose. we wanted to synthesize the monodispersed shape controlled Ag nanocrystals by using natural reducing agents and trace amounts of capping agents like PVP, citrate etc which will have no harm to environment in negligible amounts . The samples were charicterized by the means of TEM, SEM, PSA, UV-VIS-NIR spectroscopy and XRD.
