[테마기획1/차세대 분석평가장비] 차세대 고분해능 현미경 기술 현황

최근 나노기술의 발전 및 신기술 개발로 여러 가지 새로운 분석 대상물이 나타나게 되었고, 이러한 대상 물은 기존의 분석장비로는 분석이 불가능한 영역까지 분포해 있다. 따라서 이에 관련된 분석장비 기술에 대한 관심이 커지고 있다. 예를 들어, 기존의 반도체나 정밀기계뿐만 아니라 DNA나 단백질 같은 생화학 분야의 다양한 유기/무기물 또한 분석 대상에 포함되고, 대상물의 분석한계 또한 매우 높아지고 있다. 특히 나노기술 분야에서는 대상물의 분석가능 여부에 따라 연구의 성패가 좌우될 정도로 분석장비에 대한 의존도가 매우 높은데, 이에 따라서 분석장비의 성능을 획기적으로 항상시켜 관련기술을 보유하려는 연구가 세계적으로 활발히 진행 중이다. 전세계적으로 분석장비 시장은 연간 약 500억 달러(2002년)에 달하며, 국내시장의 분석기기 수요는 연간 약 l0억 달러 규모로 매년 20%의 성장률을 유지하고 있다.<br/> 대표적인 분석장비로는 전자빔현미경, 원자현미경, 공초점현미경, X선현미경, 그리고 타원편광분석기가 있으며 각 분석장비의 특성에 따라 분석대상물과 분석 항목 그리고 분석 속도 및 분해능이 달라지게 된다. 이 글에서는 위에서 언급한 여러 가지 분석 장비의 특징, 응용 및 최근의 연구 방향에 대애 알아 보도록 한다. 표 l은 각 분석장비에 따른 기술적 특성을 비교한 것이다.
국내 의류업체의 QR의사결정지원시스템 및 지연생산 사례 연구

The quick response(QR) system is very popular in Korean apparel companies. However, the usage of QR system was not known well. The purpose of this study is to identify the usage of the quick response decision support system(QR DSS) and postponement manufacturing in the Korean apparel company. The researched company was the only one which used the QR DSS. The researchers carried out the depth interview with the QR decision makers of the company. This company had 14 brands, and had used the QR DSS since January, 2008. The results are as follows: The QR DSS was supportive computer software program, and it helped the staffs to make agile decision about QR repeat production of clothing. The QR DSS automatically calculated the related data, and suggested the expected sales volume and the proper supply amounts of the styles. There were four functions in QR DSS : 'QR Alert', 'Proper Supply Amount Simulation', 'Sensible QR', and 'Supply/Sales Simulation by Item'. The men's clothing brands effectively used 'Supply/Sales Simulation by Item' function. And the women's clothing brands effectively used 'QR Alert' function. This company also used the postponement production system for QR repeat production. The postponement production was conducted with four methods : the yarn stocking, the grey fabric stocking, the dyed fabric stocking, and the fabric sourcing. The men's clothing brands usually used of the yarn stocking methods and the dyed fabric stocking methods. The women's clothing brands usually used the grey fabric stocking methods. By using QR DSS and postponement production system the company was able to shorten the lead time for QR decision making.

This paper describes a string resonator that is used for the interrogation system of a Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) strain sensor. The strain on the fiber piece is calculated from the measured frequency based on that the natural frequency of a string is a function of the applied absolute strain. Existing research considered a fiber as a string, but a fiber is not a string in the strict sense due to its bending stiffness, thus the fiber should be modeled as a beam accompanied with an axial force. In the vibration modeling, the relationship between the strain and the natural frequency is derived, and then the resonance condition is described in terms of both the phase and the mode shape for sustaining resonant motion. Several experiments verify the effectiveness of the proposed model of the fiber. The performance of the string resonator is analyzed by measuring the frequency change according to the applied strains in the dynamic range of 1100με referred to the displacement from capacitance sensor. From the experimental results, the implemented string resonator provides the accuracy of ±3με, the quasi-static resolution of ~0.1 με(rms) which amount to be ±0.17㎛ and -6㎚ respectively, in case of fiber length of 56㎜. For a dynamic strain, it can provide the accuracy of -3με until the frequency comes to 8㎐. As a consequence, the string resonator proposed for FBG sensor provides the high accuracy and the high resolution in strain measurement, and also it is expecting to be used, for the application, to not only strain but also displacement measuring device.
