      • 배양세포에 대한 휴대폰 전자파 영향 연구를 위한 장치 개발

        배양세포에 휴대폰 전자파를 조사시켜 전자파의 영향을 연구할 수 있는 장치를 개발 제작하였다. 이 장치는 궁극적으로 이동통신용 전자파의 인체영향 평가를 위한 기초장비이며, 무선통신 산업화에 도움을 주고자 함을 목적으로 하고있다. 국내 CDMA 통화주파수인 835㎒를 발진한 신호는 세포의 종류와 인가할 세포의 SAR 레벨에 따라 다르게 전력 증폭된다. 증폭된 전자파는 CO₂ incubator 내에 설치된 TEM 균일 전자파 조사장치에 인가되고 그 안에 위치하는 petri dish내 배양세포에 균일하게 조사되도록 설계하였다. 전자파 균일 조사장치 내 전자계를 해석하고 세포의 전기적 특성에 따른 입력전력과 SAR의 관계를 구하였다.

        The Design of Microwave Integrated Circuit for 2-bit Phase Shifter

        The designing method of the reflection and the loaded-line phase shifter is presented. Its phase shift is variable with changing of the stub parameters. In this paper, we design the 2-bit phase shifter which have 10\ulcornerand 90\ulcornerbit phase shift and analysi its characteristics. The experiments show 2d B max.insertion loss, 2.0max. input VSWR and 6\ulcornerphase error on 2.9-3.1GHz frequency range. They agree well with the theoretical results.

        The Characteristics of Human Beings and the Methodology of Zhuangzi's Tao(道)

        What are the characteristics of human beings in a realistic sense? A philosophical comparison of human beings and animals was thought to be useful for understanding human existence. Recently, thanks to advances in technology, a machine can satisfy the needs and demands of human beings as animals did in the past. This leads us to pose the following question: - designed and manufactured by human beings, can a sophisticated robot evolve to become like a human? Ordinary people have high hopes for this project. However, even if science and technology develops to an extremely high level, doubts exist over whether robots could reach the level of autonomy of animals. Moreover, we can by no means be certain that we could create humanoid robots comparable to human beings. Meanwhile, by studying robotics and robot ethics, we can expect to gain a new perspective on the nature of humanity. Opposition to mechanization continues to be voiced by many philosophers from the modern era. According to Gehlen, human beings are excessively impulsive, and impulse must be sublimated. By cultivating and sublimating impulse, their creativity should be achieved. Moreover, an extremely degenerated human, can sometimes be converted into the most creative person. In other words, decadence and indolence can be considered potential for exploring new ideas of self rather than a mere waste of time. From this argument, we can also see that the most essential human attribute is creativity. In the modern world, failures of education, happiness, physical and mental health, are universal problems. In recent years the proportion of the population dissatisfied with aspects of their lives has been growing. Therefore, relying solely on human intellect, makes people’s lives more and more painful. Normally, humans are the ones who lose their "creative possibilities" because they are bound by desire, planning and intent. The most efficient way to free yourself from this "self-made prison" is to return to primary deficiencies. This can be called "initialization". The method of 'initialization' allows access to "world openness". Ancient Chinese thinkers had the opportunity to initialize through various funeral and ritual ceremonies.

        Effects of surface nanostructures on self-cleaning and anti-fogging characteristics of transparent glass

        Nanostructured transparent glass surfaces with self-cleaning and anti-fogging properties were fabricated using a non-lithographic, anisotropic etching technique. The superhydrophilic glass surface was achieved by nanostructuring pre-deposited SiO 2 film in a glow discharge chamber. For superhydrophobicity, the surface energy of the nanostructured glass was lowered by treatment with 1H,1H,2H,2Hperfluorooctyl trichlorosilane. The self-cleaning and anti-fogging behavior was compared for glasses with different wettabilities by measuring the optical transmittance as well as the surface morphology and contact angles. In measuring the anti-fogging behavior, we included the effects of air flow impinging on the glass surface to emulate many practical situations. The superhydrophobic glass was superior to the superhydrophilic glass when considering both the self-cleaning and anti-fogging behavior with durability, particularly under air flow. The work can be used to fabricate transparent glass products for which minimizing surface contamination is crucial, e.g., eyeglasses, solar cells, and optical instruments.

        The Significance of Some Allegories in Mencius

        Han Fei Tzu(韓非子) cited law(法), art(術), and influence(勢) as three means of exercising power. Humor and satire correspond to art among these three means. The important point here is that humor and satire not only can be used as a means of exercising power by the ruler. Humor and satire can also be used to protest against rulers, even if remonstrators powerless or a commoner. A remarkable phrase of humor and satire has the potential to destroy even the most solid power. Mencius is an example of humor and satire being used in that sense. The method of humor and satire with allegories was used in Mencius as a means of criticizing the world, the political situation, and other scholars. In particular, one such sharp criticism is of a scholar who holds the opposite position and lives the opposite life of the Confucianist Mencius himself and happens to be a representative of the basic view of life and spirit of Daoism in the Warring States Period. Mencius is an unusual book that began to be considered very important almost 1,000 years after its writing. Although the book Mencius itself has experienced ups and downs, including being belittled and valued by the times, the classic stories of Mencius are thought to have eternal value. This is because the stories are the most interesting and easily accessible without putting much effort into the basic teachings of Confucianism. There are many unique political messages in Mencius, and the art of allegory has been used to attract the readers' attention. Allegory appears to share various characteristics of humor and satire. Humor and satire evoke laughter, which requests the demand for sociality as the most important factor. Perhaps politics is at the peak of sociality, and humor and satire have strong political characteristics in that respect.

      • 실내 간이 중계기용 소형 패치안테나 제작

        미국 PCS 대역 실내 간이 중계기에 사용될 수 있는 소형 안테나를 개발 제작하였다. 이동통신용 PCS 주파수는 CDMA에 비해 2배 정도 높기 때문에 건물 등 실내에서 통신하기에는 감쇠가 심하다. 따라서 건물 밖 신호를 받아서 건물의 특정부분으로 중계해 주는 시스템이 필요하게 된다. 이 연구에서는 벽걸이 혹은 사진액자 형태의 중계기에 사용될 수 있는 소형이면서도 대역특성이 넓은 패치 안테나를 제작하였다. A4 크기의 중계기에 적용되는 소형 패치 안테나를 2개 배열하여 측정한 결과 S11의 -10㏈ 대역폭은 1.7 -2.1㎓로 400㎒의 광대역이고, 이득 6 - 8.5㏈i 및 -18㏈의 F/B 비 특성을 보였다.

        인체 두뇌 보호를 위한 무선 전화기용 Corrugate 유전체 칩 전자파 감쇄기

        세라믹 강 유전체를 이용한 corrugate 구조의 으 전극으로 마들어지 유전체 칩에 의한 전자파 감쇄기를 설계하고 제작하였다. 이 감쇄기의 감쇠는 corrugate 구조에 의한 전파모드 차단조건으로부터 얻을 수 있도록 설계하였다. 근거리 프로브 측정 및 SAR 측정에 의한 결과는 셀룰라 밴드인 824∼849MHz에서 3.6∼5dB, PCS 밴드인 1750∼1780 MHz에서 4∼5dB의 감쇠를 얻었다. 또한 감쇠 범위는 휴대폰 정면을 중심으로 ±35°이외는 감쇠가 없으므로 통화기 통화품질의 저하가 거의 없음이 나타났다.

        휴대 단말기용 연장 루프안테나

        본 논문에서는 지난 호 브랜치 루프안테나 BLA(Branch Loop Antenna)에 이어 휴대 단말기용 연장 루프안테나를 설 계한다. 사각형 루프에 연장 루프를 추가한 ELA(Extended Loop Antenna)를 소개하고, 휴대 단말기에 적용될 수 있음을 보인다. 연장 루프 소자를 사각형 루프안테나 상단 및 좌우양단에 추가하고, 길이를 조절하여 낮은 공진 주파수를 얻는 다. 연장 루프에 의한 다중 공진을 얻고, 접속위치와 길이로부터 원하는 대역을 얻는다. 설계한 ELA를 구현한 후 측정 으로부터, CDMA/ GSM의 낮은 주파수 대역에서 평균이득 -3.0~-1.46dBi 및 50.15~71.41% 효율의 양호한 특성을 얻었고, DCS/USPCS/WCDMA의 높은 주파수 대역에서는 평균이득 –8.28~-1.7dBi 및 14.87~67.68% 효율을 얻었다. An extended loop antenna, to be continued BLA(Branch Loop Antenna) in the previous volume, for the mobile handset is designed in this paper. It's introduced an ELA(Extended Loop Antenna) that is added extended loops to rectangular loop, and verified antenna performances for applying to mobile handset. Extended loops are located upside, left and right side of rectangular loop, and low resonance is obtained by the length of line. Multiple resonances are established by the extended loops, and obtained the desired service bands by the connection points and lengths. By the implementation and measurement for the multiband ELA, it's showed -3.0~-1.46dBi average gains with 50.15~71.41% efficiencies at CDMA/GSM frequency band, and –8.28~-1.7dBi average gains with 14.87~67.68% efficiencies at DCS/USPCS/ WCDMA frequency band.

        구형도파관 슬롯배열 안테나의 최적 설계에 관한 연구

        Tschebyscheff 배열 방법에 의한 중앙급전식 구형도파관 공진형 슬롯배열 안테나의 설계방법을 제시한다. 도파관슬롯의 어드미턴스는 슬롯간의 상호결합 작용을 고려하여 실험 및 이론적 방법으로 구한다. 주파수 9.4GHz에서 동작하는 길이 1.8피이트의 공진형 슬롯배열 안테나를 설계제작하였다. 실험결과는 이득 25.5dB. 부엽준위 최대-22dB 및 반치각 $3.6^{circ}$로서 매우좋은 특성을 나타내었다. The design method of the center-fed resonant type slotted waveguide antenna using the Dolph-Tschebyscheff array is presented. Slot admittances are obtained by empirical and theoretical method since the effect of mutual coupling between slots is included. We design a slotted waveguide antenna which has 1.8ft. length and operates on 9.4GHz. The experimental results of the antenna show that its gain, maximum sidelobe level and half power beam-width are 25.5dB, -22dB and 3.6deg., respectively.
