      • 發光박테리아 Vibrio fischeri를 利用한 有害物質의 生物學的 毒性評價

        This study was performed to determine the aquatic toxicity (EC_(50), 30min) on luminescent bacteria Vibrio fischeri of heavy metals, pesticide, and another toxic materials. 1. EC_(50) of heavy metals on Vibrio fischeri was mercury 0.62mg/l, cadmium 5.94mg/l, lead 1.53mg/l, chromium 4.28mg/l, and Cu 11.09mg/l. 2. EC_(50) of organophosphate pesticide Diazinon was 4.50, and parathion 2.67mg/l. 3. EC_(50) of Arsenic, was 4.78 cyanide phenol, 5.03, 14.77mg/l. 4. The toxic materials with low EC_(50) on V. fischeri and high inhibition increase rate according to the increase of material concentration were Hg, 2.4-D. The ones with low EC_(50) and low inhibition increase rate were Pb, Parathion, Endosulfan. The ones with high EC_(50) and high inhibition increase rate were Cr^(6+), Diazinon, As, CN, Cd. The one Phenol showed high EC_(50) and low inhibition increase rate.

        수은과 비소로 오염된 시료의 측정주파수와 농도 변화에 따른 전기적 특성

        In general, ground pollution can be classified with soil pollution and underground water pollution. And ground pollution contaminates the land with garbage dumps and other harmful waste products as heavy metals that can also eventually enter our water supply. This study was conducted to define a characteristics of the electrical resistivity and the permittivity of weathered soil that was contaminated with heavy metals as Mercury and Arsenic. It is not easy whether contamination of soil as subsurface contamination is decided or not and at an early stage especially do that. Therefore the electrical resistivity and the permittivity were used to make up for this defects. These methods are more economical and more effective than the existing methods. And variation of the electrical resistivity and the permittivity values were found against the change of concentration of Mercury and Arsenic aqueous solutions and measuring frequency. These analyzed results indicate that the electrical resistivity and the permittivity tend to decrease against increasing measuring frequency. The electrical resistivity and the permittivity are also found to show the function of frequency.

        합동작전 지휘통제 효과도 모의분석을 위한 평가기준 연구

        미래전이 네트워크중심전(NCW, Network Centric Warfare)으로 변화함에 따라 세계적으로 지휘통제의 효과도에 관한 관심이 점증하고 있다. 과거의 기동과 타격자산 중심의 소모전 위주의 전투와 달리, 현대전은 정보의 획득과 유통이 중요시되는 정보 네트워크 기반의 전쟁으로서 C4ISR(Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance) 체계가 핵심적인 역할을 담당할 것이라는 데는 재론의 여지가 없다. 그럼에도 불구하고 지휘통제가 전투에 기여하는 효과의 정도를 측정하는 방법론이나 효과 반영체계 등을 명확하게 설명할 방법을 갖추고 있지 못한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 네트워크중심작전의 기반이 되는 C4ISR 체계에 의한 효과도 증진을 개념적으로 설명할 수 있는 프레임워크인 미국방부가 개발한 NCO-CF(Network Centric Operations-Conceptual Framework)에 대하여 살펴보았다. 그리고 NCO-CF를 기반으로 하여 지휘통제 효과도 모의분석을 위한 평가기준을 도출하기 위한 방법론을 제시하였다. 사례연구로 합동작전의 지휘통제 체계에 이 방법론을 적용하여 모의분석을 위한 평가기준을 도출하였다. Concerning the effectiveness of command and control is increasing worldwide as future warfare is changing into Network Centric Warfare (NCW). Unlike the old attrition warfare that depends mainly on mobility and strike assets, the modern warfare is based on information and network which regards acquisition and circulation of information as important. Therefore, there's no room for rediscussion that C4ISR (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance) system will play an important role in warfare. In spite of this fact, there isn't any way to explain clearly how to measure the effectiveness of command and control system in a battle and to reflect it systematically in a system effectiveness. In this study, we examined NCO-CF (Network Centric Operations-Conceptual Framework), developed by the Department of Defense (DOD), which can conceptually explain the increment of effectiveness of C4ISR system that is the basis of NCO. And we suggested methodology based on NCO-CF to establish the evaluation criteria for M&S analysis of command and control effectiveness. As a case study we derived the evaluation criteria for the command and control system in joint operations by applying the suggested methodology.

        Fall cone을 이용한 풍화토의 풍화도 측정(실트질 모래에 대하여)

        It is essential to analyze and classify the physical characteristics of weathered granite for engineering purposes. This paper is to suggest a physical method to determine the degree of weathering of weathered soils. A new classification method for determining the degree of weathering is suggested, based upon the results from laboratory tests including fall cone test.According to the proposed physical method using fall cone apparatus, the measured values of the samples from the same area show distinctive difference of weathering. The water content tends to increase with increasing the degree of weathering at the same penetration in fall cone test. And relationship between CWI and water content are expressed one equation in Whasung area and Ilsan area.

        Breakage Index of Weathered Soil Reflecting Breakage Level and Weathering Degree

        The particle of weathered soil is easily broken by stress, which is significantly influenced by environments and field conditions. In addition, the degree of weathering of soil leads to the change of the breakage level of the soil and the strength parameters of its structure. In this research, breakage level of disturbed weathered soil in each condition of compaction was monitored and then analyzed using a compaction test, X-ray Fluorescence Spectroscopy (XRF), sieve analysis test, Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), and direct shear test. These analyzed results indicate that the key grain size contributing to the breakage level is changed in accordance with the water content of a compaction test. Consequently, with the key grain size a new breakage index is proposed to evaluate breakage levels of the weathered soil specimens. This index not only evaluates the degree of weathering but also identifies the breakage level in this experiment.         CKD 혼합에 따른 Recycled Material의 회복탄성계수와 일축압축강도 특성

        This study was conducted to determine the resilient modulus (Mr) and the unconfined compressive strength (UCS) of two recycled roadway materials such as recycled pavement material (RPM) and road surface gravel (RSG) with or without cement kiln dust (CKD). The recycled materials were blended with two CKD contents (5, 10 %) and 28 day curing time. Mr and UCS tests were also conducted after 10cycles of freezing and thawing to asses the impact of freeze-thaw cycling. Mr was determined conducting by the laboratory test method described by NCHRP 1-28A. Stabilized RPM and RSG had a modulus and a strength higher than unstabilized RPM and RSG. Mr and UCS of RPM and RSG mixed with CKD increased with increasing CKD content. The results indicated that the addition of CKD could be improved the strength and the stiffness of RPM and RSG. Therefore, RPM, RSG and CKD could be used as an effective materials in the reconstruction of roads.
