        충남 도서지역의 민속식물

        본 연구는 충남 도서지역의 민속식물을 파악하기 위하여2011년 3월부터 10월까지 수행되었다. 4개 시․군 지역에속하는 17개 도서지역에서 주민 50여명을 대상으로 작성된조사야장 905매의 설문조사를 분석한 결과, 충남 도서지역에서 파악되고 수집된 민속식물은 84과 219속 246종 3아종 22변종 3품종의 총 274분류군이었다. 조사야장에 따른274분류군에 대한 용도별 이용현황은 식용 169분류군, 약용 134분류군, 관상용 67분류군, 향신료 17분류군, 향료 7韓資植誌 Korean J. Plant Res. 25(5) : 603~623(2012)- 608 -분류군, 연료 7분류군, 유지 6분류군, 염료 5분류군, 밀원4분류군, 섬유 3분류군, 수지 1분류군, 기타 26분류군으로, 식용으로의 이용 빈도가 가장 높았다. 연령별 표준식물명과 지방명의 일치도는 50대가 가장 높았으며, 60대가 가장 낮았다. This study was carried out in order to catalogue the native plants of 17 islands of Chungcheongnam-do Province from March to October, 2011. 905 pages of field notes relating to the native plants were collected from approximately 50local inhabitants, and were subsequently analysed. The identified native plants were of 274 taxa, composed of 246 species,3 subspecies, 22 varieties and 3 forms of 219 genera under 84 families. In accordance with their usage, they were classified into; 169, edible; 134, medicinal; 67, ornamental; 17, spice; 7, aroma; 7, fuel; 6, oil; 5, dye; 4, nectar; 3, fiber; 1, resin; 26,other plants. Coincidence degree dependent on age between the standard name and the local name was the highest at 50's,and the lowest at 60's.

        Cladistic analysis of the section Adonanthe under genus Adonis L. (Ranunculaceae) from East Asia

        Cladistic analysis was conducted for 11 taxa belonging to sect. Adonanthe in the gen. Adonis in East Asia on the basis of morphological and cytological characters, and the evolutionary change of major diagnostic characters and the validity of the existing taxonomic system were reviewed. Adonis davidii has been considered the most primitive species of the 11 treated taxa. However, cladistic analysis indicated that A. davidii differentiated since A. sutchuenensis branched. Evolutionary tendencies of taxonomic characters were generally orthogenesis. However, a few characters evolved in the reverse direction. Meanwhile, the cladistic analysis did not support the classification system proposed by Wang, who classified sect. Adonanthe into four series, as most of these were found to be rather polyphyletic or paraphyletic. The differences between these proposed four series were thought to be attributed to the adaptation of only a few morphological characters that pertained to the leaves shape and the petals color.

        Aggregated achenes and achene morphology of the Korean Adonis L. and its related taxa in East Asia

        Morphological characters of aggregated achenes, and achene and its epidermal microstructures were observed for 7 taxa belonging to the section Adonanthe of subgenus Adonanthe [A. amurensis Regel et Radde, A. bobroviana Sim., A. davidii Franch., A. multiflora Nishikawa et Ko. Ito, A. pseudoamurensis W. T. Wang, A. ramosa Franch. and A. tianschanica (Adolf) Lipsch. ex Bobrov] and for 1 taxon belonging to the section Lophocarpa of subgenus Adonis (A. aestivalis var. parviflora M. Bieb.). The morphological characters such as shape of aggregated achenes, length of aggregated achenes, shape of achene, and recurved type of persistent style were useful in the classification of the subgenera Adonanthe and Adonis, and each species of the series under section Adonanthe. Epidermal microstructures of achene were grouped into three types according to the presence of microwrinkles and their arranged patterns. These microwrinkles were absent in A. amurensis, were of parallel type in A. bobroviana, A. pseudoamurensis, A. ramosa, and A. aestivalis var. parviflora, and were of parallelperpendicular mixed type in A. davidii, A. multiflora, and A. tianschanica. Also, a new key to them was made using morphological characters of their aggregated achenes and achene.

        Thalictrum acutifolium (Hand.-Mazz.) B. Boivin: a new record to the flora of the Jeju-do, Korea

        Thalictrum acutifolium (Hand.-Mazz.) B. Boivin is hitherto known as an endemic species of China. However, recently we found another population in Jeju-do, Korea. This species is closely related to Thalictrum tuberiferum Maxim., having characters such as 2- or 3-ternate leaves, whitish stamens with clavate filaments, and stipitate achenes, but distinguished from the latter by the following features: rootlets lacking tubers, stoloniferous, alternate cauline leaves, apex acuted leaflets, and ovate-shaped sepals with whitish color. Here, we provide its description, illustrations, and photographs as a new record species in Korea. Also, a lectotype is designated for T. acutifolium based on the material conserved at the University of Vienna (WU).

        개복수초(미나리아재비과)의 분류학적 재고

        Morphological characters of Adonis pseudoamurensis W. T. Wang and its related species were examined to illustrate its taxonomic entity, and their new key was made. As a result, it shows that A. ramosa Franch., an endemic species in Japan, was sparsely pubescent on the abaxial surface of the leaf and petiole, and its sepal was as long as its petal. However, A. pseudoamurensis is glabrous on the same surfaces and its sepal was shorter than its petal. In addition, A. multiflora Nishikawa et Ko. Ito was clearly distinguished in that it had acuminate leaf apices, linear shape of the final lobes of leaf and scales on the branched stem. Meanwhile, A. pseudoamurensis featured petiolate at cauline leaves and pubescent on pistils, and these characters were common with their allied groups. But diagnostic key characters suggested by the original description such as sessile at cauline leaves and glabrous on pistils were not observed in this study. Adonis pseudoamurensis W. T. Wang의 분류학적 실체를 규명하기 위하여 본 종과 그 근연분류군에 대한 주요 검색형질을 비롯한 외부형태학적 형질을 조사하였고, 근연분류군과의 종검색표를 작성하였다. 그 결과, 일본특산종인 A. ramosa Franch.는 잎 이면과 엽병에 성기게 털이 분포하고, 악편의 길이가 화피편의 길이와 거의 같은 것에 비해, A. pseudoamurensis는 잎 이면과 엽병이 무모이고, 악편의 길이가 화피편의 길이보다 짧다. 또한, A. multiflora Nishikawa et Ko. Ito는 엽선이 점첨두이고, 최종열편은 선형이며, 원줄기와 분지된 줄기에 인엽이 분포하나, A. pseudoamurensis는 엽선이 예두이고, 최종열편은 피침형이며, 분지된 줄기에는 인엽이 분포하지 않는 점에서 뚜렷이 구분되었다. 한편, A. pseudoamurensis의 특징은 원기재문과는 달리 경생엽에 엽병이 있고, 암술에 털이 있으며, 본 형질들은 근연분류군들과 공통의 형질이다.

        복수초(미나리아재비과)의 종내분류군에 대한 분류

        The infraspecific taxa of Adonis amurensis Regel et Radde are currently known to include one subspecies (subsp. nanus Y. Lee), two varieties (var. ramosa Makino, and var. dissectipetalis Y. Lee) and two forms (for. argentatus Y. Lee, and for. viridescensicalyx Y. Lee). Among them, the remaining three taxa except for subsp. nanus and var. dissectipetalis are unified with A. amurensis. Therefore, we examined the morphological characteristics and geographical distribution of A. amurensis in effort to elucidate the taxonomic status of subsp. nanus and var. dissectipetalis. After the subsp. nanus samples had been transplanted from their type locality, i.e. highland at more than 1,000 m above sea level, to a lowland habitat, we measured the samples’ morphological characteristics. The range of values we recorded of the plant height and floral diameter from the subsp. nanus samples were within the parameters used to characterize A. amurensis. Accordingly, subsp. nanus has been characterized as an ecophene of A. amurensis. It is considered as a synonym of A. amurensis. Among the populations of A. amurensis (sensu Y.Lee, author), those with highly dissected petals at their apices have previously been described as var. dissectipetalis. However, this characteristic has been observed together with obtuse or rounded petal apices not only in one population but also in a single individual. However, populations with these characteristics belong to A. pseudoamurensis due to the simultaneous development of leaves and flowers, branched stems, acute leaf apices, and petals that are shorter than sepals. Therefore, we suggest that A. amurensis var. dissectipetalis be unified with A. pseudoamurensis. Very useful characteristics for distinguishing A. amurensis from its relative species are anthesis, the presence or absence of branches, the development of scales into normal leaves, the relative length of the sepals and petals, and the position of the stipules. A. amurensis is geographically restricted to E. Asia, including E. Siberia, and especially on the Korean Peninsula, it is distributed throughout the northern provinces of Gyeonggi province and in Gangwon province, Gyeongbuk province (Mt. Bohyeon-san) and Jeonbuk province (Mt Jeoksang-san) along Baekdudaegan mountain. Adonis amurensis Regel et Radde의 종내 분류군으로서는 subsp. nanus Y. Lee, var. dissectipetalis Y. Lee, var. ramosa Makino, for. argentatus Y. Lee, for. viridescensicalyx Y. Lee의 1아종 2변종, 2품종이 알려져 왔다. 이들 중 앞의 두 변종을 제외한 나머지는 이전의 연구들에 의해서 이미 이명으로 분류학적 처리가 이루어졌다. 본 연구에서는 아직 검증되지 않은 subsp. nanus와 var. dissectipetalis의 분류형질을 조사하여 이들 2분류군에 대한 실체를 규명하기 위하여, A. amurensis의 외부형태학적 형질 및 한반도에서의 분포역을 파악하고자 하였다. 그 결과, subsp. nanus를 해발 1,000 m 이상의 고지인 기준채집지로부터 채집하여 이식재배한 결과, 식별형질인 식물체와 꽃의 크기의 범위가 A. amurensis var. amurensis 내에 포함되는 일종의 ecophene으로 판단되어 기본종에 통합시켰다. 또한, var. dissectipetalis는 분류형질인 화피선단부가 결각상으로 많이 갈라지는 특징이 한 개체군에서 뿐 만 아니라 한 개체내에서도 둔두형, 원두형과 함께 모두 나타났다. 그러나 꽃과 잎이 동시에 발달하고, 줄기가 분지하며, 엽선은 예두, 악편은 화피편보다 짧은 외부형태학적인 특징으로 볼 때, A. amurensis 보다는 A. pseudoamurensis의 변이체로 판단되어 A. pseudoamurensis에 통합하였다. 잎의 발달시기, 줄기의 분지여부, 인엽의 정상엽으로의 발달여부, 악편과 화피편의 길이, 탁엽의 위치 등의 형질은 A. amurensis와 근연종들과의 분류에 있어 매우 유익한 형질로 나타났다. A. amurensis는 동시베리아를 포함하여 중국, 일본, 한국에 생육하며, 한반도에서는 북한전역과 남한의 경기 북부 및 백두대간을 따라 강원, 경북(보현산), 전북(적상산)까지 분포하는 것으로 조사되었다.

        모데미풀속과 근연속들의 형태 및 분포 비교 (미나리아재비과)

        To elucidate the taxonomic status of the genus Megaleranthis Ohwi, a monotype in Korea, its distribution and morphological characteristics were studied and a cluster analysis was performed. The cluster analysis showed that Megaleranthis was separately clustered from Trollius and Calathodes. Megaleranthis is morphologically different from Calathodes Hook.f. et Thomson in having petals, and from Trollius L. in having an involucre instead of a caulescent leaf under the flower and follicles with simple veins. The three genera above are distributed independently within Asia, although they can be found together at the boundaries where their distributions overlap: Trollius and Calathodes occur together between the Sichuan and Yunnan provinces in China, and Megaleranthis and Trollius can both be found on the northern edge of the Korean Peninsula. From both a morphological and a distributional viewpoint, Megaleranthis should be recognized as an independent genus different from both Trollius and Calathodes. 모데미풀(Megaleranthis saniculifolia Ohwi, monotype)의 외부형태학적 특징과 분포역을 조사하였다. 또한 근연속으로 알려진 금매화속(Trollius L.)과 Calathodes속(Calathodes Hook.f. et Thomson)의 질적 외부형태학적 형질에 대한 유집분석을 통하여 모데미풀속의 분류학적 위치에 대해 고찰하고자 하였다. 그 결과, 모데미풀은 금매화속, Calathodes속과 0.385의 낮은 유사도를 나타냈으며, 금매화속은 Calathodes속과 함께 유집되어 모데미풀속과 뚜렷이 구분되었다. 모데미풀은 화피편이 존재하는 특징으로 Calathodes속 식물과 뚜렷이 구분되며, 금매화속 식물과는 꽃 아래에 경생엽 대신 한 매의 총포엽을 가지고 있고, 골돌의 맥은 분지되지 않는 특징에 의해 구분된다. 상기 3속의 분포역에 있어서 금매화속과 Calathodes속 식물은 이들의 분포경계지인 중국의 사천성과 운남성지역에서, 모데미풀과 금매화속 식물은 이들의 분포경계지인 한반도 북부지역에서 각각 부분적으로 중복되나, 전체적으로 볼 때 이들 각각은 나름대로의 독립적인 분포역을 가지고 있다. 따라서 모데미풀은 근연속들과의 외부형태학적 차이가 분명하고, 분포역을 비교해 볼 때 독립된 속으로의 처리가 타당하다고 판단된다.

        Design of a Multi-Layered Reconfigurable Frequency Selective Surface Using Water Channels

        In this study, we propose a multi-layered reconfigurable frequency selective surface (FSS) using water channels, which can be switched between the bandpass and bandstop states. Variation ratio in transmission between the bandpass and bandstop states is drastically improved by multi-layer dielectric slabs with water channels. We then fabricate the design, and the measured results in the X-band shows a good agreement with the simulation. The variation in transmission coefficients between the two states increases from 0.34 to 0.71 using the 5-layered dielectric slabs with water channels, which verifies the reconfigurability of the proposed FSS.

        서해 5도의 식물상

        서해 5도 지역에 자생하는 식물상을 밝히고 주요 식물들의 분포를 파악하였다. 백령도, 소청도는 2015년 5월부터 8월까지 현지조사를 실시하고, 대청도, 연평도, 소연평도는 국립수목원산림생물표본관(KH)에 보관 중인 증거표본을 재동정하여 정리한 결과 서해 5도에 분포하는 관속식물은 108과 420속 728종 6 아종 86변종 14품종의 총 834분류군으로 정리되었다. 이들 중에는 한국 특산식물 8분류군, 희귀식물 19분류군, 식물구계학적 특정식물종 27분류군(Ⅰ, Ⅱ등급 제외)이 확인되었으며, 107 분류군의 귀화식물이 조사되었다. 서해 5도 지역에서 자생하는특기할 만한 식물들 중 특히 용가시나무, 실부추, 참범꼬리, 멱쇠채, 대청부채, 정향풀 등은 개체수가 적거나 식물지리학적으로 중요한 식물로서 자생지 보전에 대한 적절한 대책이 마련되어야 할 것으로 판단된다. In order to illustrate the flora of vascular plants distributed in the Five West Sea Islands, the authors collected vascular plants intensively in Baengnyeongdo and Socheongdo from May 2015 to August 2015. Also, voucher specimens from the previous investigations (Daecheongdo, Yeonpyeongdo and Soyeonpyeongdo) deposited at the Korean National Arboretum (KH) were re-identified. All of them were comprised of 108 families, 420 genera, 728 species, 6 subspecies, 86 varieties and 14 forms, totally 834 taxa. There were 8 endemic taxa, 19 rare taxa, 27 taxa for floristically specific to Korean floral zone except the species of their 1st and 2nd degree, and 107 naturalized taxa among the collected plants. Owing to their unusual phytogeography and low number of populations, the taxa Rosa maximowicziana Regel, Allium anisopodium Ledeb., Bistorta pacifica (Petrov ex Kom.) Kom., Scorzonera austriaca subsp. glabra (Rupr.) Lipsch. & Krasch. ex Lipsch., Iris dichotoma Pall., Amsonia elliptica (Thunb.) Roem. & Schult. were considered the most important. Based on these results, it is clear that appropriate plants to conserve the natural habitat of the Five West Sea Islands must be made immediately.

        Adonis amurensis var. pilosissima var. nov., a new variety of Adonis amurensis (Ranunculaceae) from East Asia

        A new variety of Adonis amurensis from East Asia, A. amurensis var. pilosissima, is described and illustrated. The new variety is morphologically related to A. amurensis var. amurensis and Adonis pseudoamurensis, but differs from the former by its densely pilose stem and leaves with abundant short hairs not becoming glabrate in fruiting season, and from the latter by its unbranched stem, precocious leaves, and sepals longer than petals. The conservation status of A. amurensis var. pilosissima was assessed according to the IUCN Red List criteria. A distribution map for the species and identification key for all 14 Adonis taxa from East Asia are also provided.
