Recent advances in high-tech industry and ultra precision machining technology have led to the development of a wide variety of new materials. The demand for LBP Polygon Mirror finishing parts has increased, which are mainly used for the motor of the printer. so ultra precision machining technology is required. It is important for Polygon Mirror to have the enough strength for the high-speed rotation and high quality Polygon line surface. Polygon Mirror, high-tech nano finishing part, is used for optical instrument such as laser printers, digital copiers, laser fax machines and bar-code readers, etc. Therefore, we have evaluated the machining precision of material surface and tried to determine the optimum machining conditions in order to improve machining precision of S3M. Also we have applied to the production line to reduce the defective proportion. As a result, we have obtained high quality precision of side surface machining in case that the number of revolutions, speed and movement were constant and cutting rate was 0.05㎜. Also we have obtained the same results from the 30 test specimens with constant rough-cutting during the Polygon line machining. The defective proportion decreased from 12 percent to 4~6 percent when the machining conditions selected during the test were applied to the real production line. It is expected that the defective proportion of products can be reduced if we conduct further research on the cleaning and heat treatment process.

Nanotechnology is the creation and utilization of materials, devices, and systems through the control of matter on the nanometer-length scale, that is, at the level of atoms, molecules, and supramolecular structures. The essence of nanotechnology is the ability to work at these levels to generate larger structures with fundamentally new molecular organization. These nanostructures, made with building blocks understood from first principles, are the smallest human-made objects, and they exhibit novel physical, chemical, and biological properties and phenomena. The aim of nanotechnology is to learn to exploit these properties and efficiently manufacture and employ the structures. Control of matter on the nanoscale already plays an important role in scientific disciplines as diverse as physics, chemistry, materials science, biology, medicine, engineering, and computer simulation. This paper describes the superprecision nano separator to productive particle size of nano powder, this separator system is very important in the industrial area for other high technology parts.

As the casting technique developed and production of delicate casting products became available, the call for control of precise defects and for an accurate analysis of the reasons behind the defect occurrence is getting higher. it is important to estimate the position and the reasons for defects through fluid analysis to eliminate casting defects, thermal analysis and stress analysis.This paper suggests that the casting process using nodular cast iron and using computer simulation for the design principles for die design and for process interpretation. In the process interpretation, the speed control of fluid in the runner and ingate is important in the cast quality. Hence, the process speed and solidification process must be analyzed on the perspective of the thermal and fluid analysis. And based on the results, the curve block pin jig for vertical compressive load support was produced and the produced parts were verified for quality.

In a recent trend where an industry is highly advanced and an environment preservation is emphasized, They also perform various researches on improving production process and developing new systems. In the pressing forging process among the semi-solid casting process, heated aluminum alloy turns into a semisolid state mixed with solid and fluid around at the fusion point. The solid is achieved in dendrite which remains in a fine solid state of globular shape stuck together. If it is placed in the mold, it maintains its shape independently like the solid. If it is pressed, it comes to have the state similar to the fluid and consequently is easily cast in the metal mold. It also aims to estimate the exact casting state of product through Super forge 2005, a program to interpret finite factors in order to perform forge die casting of plate in the middle of valve body in the car automatic transmission. Furthermore, it assesses the change of the distribution and transformation ratio.

Currently knowledge of strain in welds has mainly been obtained from strain gaging method; that is directly attaching most of the material to the gage. The very few non-contact method are still in the early stage. One of the non-contact methods is by the use of the laser that has high-level of the accuracy for the measurement, and this laser also has excellent characteristics on which many studies for its applications are focused throughout the many fields. The dissertation is on the measurement of the strain caused by the characteristics and the temperature changes of the TIG welded zone which is used with 3D ESPI system that is functionally modified through the laser ESPI system. This system employed the aluminum sheet-metal which are mainly used for the steel plate such as for the electronics, chemistry, food instrument and electronic appliances.
