A re-study was conducted based on morphological characters of 39 specimens known as Mycena stylobates, collected from 33 areas, Mt. Chiack, Kangwon-do, etc. from 1988 to 2015 and deposited in the Herbarium Conservation Center of the National Institute of Agricultural Sciences (HCCN). All specimens cited here were confirmed as a new to science, and designated as Mycena yangsupensiae which was described and illustrated in detail. Mycelial growth of four cultures from the fruiting bodies of Mycena sp. (KACC54181, KACC54182, KACC54183, and KACC54184) was high on the potato dextrose agar (PDA), at 25oC. These four taxa were confirmed as the same species, Mycena yangsupensiae, by the internal transcribed spacer (ITS) sequencing analysis. All collections cited here are deposited in HCCN, Suwon.

ABSTRACT: Different mushroom species have collected from various areas and their taxonomic identification was carried out for species diversity. Among them, Hypholoma elongatum (Pers.) Ricken that was collected from Yongmoon mountain of Gyonggi in Korea was confirmed as new collection in Korea and registered here with descriptions and Korean common name. All collections cited here are deposited in the Herbarium Conservation Center of National Academy of Agricultural Sciences.

One interesting parasitic forming fungus, being grown on the eggs of Phallus impudicus was collected from Mulchajoreum and on woods of Saryeoni in Jeju island. This taxon identified as a Podostroma solmsii (E. Fisch.) S. Imai f. octospora Yoshim. Doi (Hyporeaceae) based on morphological characteristics. According to the interpretation of Doi(1978), this taxon hsving the stipitate, genus Podostroma, family Hypocreaceae, Hypocreales, Ascomycota was identified as Podostroma solmsi f. octospora and its korean common name designated by authors. This species is characterized in having the fusiforme to ellipsoidal, unicellular and warted ascospores without septate and with blunt apiculus at each end and mycoparasitic habitat. Although there is some mycologists suggest that this taxon having above characters needs to be derived from Hypomyces. But authors are primarily going to record this species as a named "Podostroma solmsii (E. Fisch.) S. Imai f. octospora Yoshim. Doi" for the fungus flora of Korea. In a future, it is need in detail to compare their DNA sequencing data on the type species and some related species. All collections cited here are deposited in the Herbarium Conservation Center of National Academy of Agricultural Sciences.

This survey was conducted in order to clarify the species diversity and distribution of mushrooms at Worldcup Park in Seoul, from May to November 2010 and 2014. In the survey, a total of 98 taxa, 98 species, 86 genera, 38 families, 12 orders, three classes, and two phyla were identified. A total of 250 specimens of Mushrooms were collected from Pyonghwa Park and 63 species, 71 genera, 36 families, 13 orders, three classes, and two phyla were identified. Coprinus atramentarius and Psathyrella candolleana were high in frequency, as ten times and nine times, respectively. In Noeul Park, 102 specimens were collected, 41 species, 42 genera, 19 families, 19 orders, two classes, and two phyla were identified. In Noeul Park mostly layed with lawn, Agrocybe semiorbicularis and Agaricus campestris were high in frequency, as ten times and nine times, respectively. There were no mushrooms in succession during three years. In Haneul Park, a total of 128 specimens of mushrooms were collected. 49 species, 57 genera, 30 families, 11 orders, three classes, and two phyla were identified. Agrocybe semiorbicularis and Phallus rugulosus were high in frequency, as four times. In Nanjicheon Park, a total of 68 specimens of mushrooms were collected. 31 species, 34 genera, 30 families, nine orders, one class, and one phylum were identified. Coprinus atramentarius and Psathyrella velutina were high in frequency, as three times. Investigation on the diversity of mushrooms at the Worldcup Park, piled up with the city``s waste, will be of the great significance in the aspect of the ecological change. All specimens examined in this work are preserved in HCCN (Herbarium Conservation Center of National Academy of Agricultural Science).

For the study of species diversity and distribution of Melanophyllum in Korea, M. eyrei and M. haematospermum were identified with unrecorded species and reported species, respectively. Their identification were confirmed based on macroand microscopic descriptions as well as ITS region sequence data. We give a Korean name ``Cheongheukjureumbeoseot`` for M. eyrei and provided full description for M. haematospermum due to incomplete previous description.

To investigate the fungal diversity in Mt. Paekwoon, higher fungi were collected in July, 1991 from the two Locations of Seoul National University Forests in Kwangyang-gun, Chonnam Province. A total of la7 fungal species were collected and classified. Following six species were identified as new species unrecorded in Korea. Their morphological and taxonomic features including microscopic characteristics of spores and cystidia were also reported in this paper. Marasmius pulcherripes Peck : Agaricus purlurellus(Moller) Moller : Coprinus echinosporus Buller : Xerocomus nigromaoulatus Hongo : Boletellus shichianus(Teng & Ling) Teng : Russula kansaiensis Hongo.

Unusual mushrooms were observed in strawberry and sweet pepper greenhouses in the Hwasun area of Korea in September 2015. The mushrooms usually grew on beds in the greenhouses, frequently along with vegetables. The identity of the mushrooms in the greenhouses and effects of the mushrooms on the growth and quality of vegetables were investigated. Mushroom specimens collected were identified based on their morphological and molecular characteristics. The mushroom specimens collected from the strawberry greenhouse were identified as Leucocoprinus birnbaumii and L. ianthinus, and those from the sweet pepper greenhouse as Gymnopilus lepidotus. These were the first observations of L. ianthinus and G. lepidotus in Korea. The results revealed that the mushrooms originated from coco peat media used for the beds in the greenhouses. The mushrooms did not affect the growth and quality of the two vegetables.
