H.264/AVC에서 화면 간 예측 모드의 압축 성능 향상을 위한 적응적인 계수 탐색 방법

H.264/AVC는 높은 압축 성능을 보이는 현존하는 가장 우수한 비디호 부호화 표준이다. H.264/AVC는 양자화된 변환 계수를 부호화하기 위해 지그재그 탐색 방법을 채택하고 있다. 하지만 이 방법은 모든 블록의 양자화된 변환 계수를 블록의 특성을 고려하지 않고 동일한 순서로 탐색하기 때문에 효과적이지 못하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 H.264/AVC의 화면 간 예측에서 압축 효율을 증가시키기 위한 적응적인 계수 탐색 방법을 제안한다. 제안하는 방법에서는, 이전 블록들의 정보를 기반으로 각 화면 간 예측 모드의 계수 탐색 순서를 조절한다. 실험 결과는 제안하는 적응적인 계수 탐색 방법은 고화질의 HD 영상에서 2.29%의 압축 효율 향상을 보여준다. H.264/AVC is the state-of-the-art video compression standard which achieves high coding efficiency compared with the previous standards. H.264/AVC adopts zig-zag scanning in order to encode quantized transform coefficients in a block. However, its performance is not satisfactory because all blocks are scanned in the fixed order without considering the characteristics of blocks. This paper presents an adaptive coefficient scanning method for improving inter coding efficiency in H.264/AVC. In the proposed method, the coefficient scanning order for each prediction mode is adaptively controlled based on the information of previously-coded blocks. The experimental results show that the proposed coefficient scanning method improves the coding efficiency about 2.29% for high-quality HD sequences.

Influence of a engine room under-cover on aerodynamic forces has been studied. Numerical simulations were performed of flow around a sedan vehicle. A lattice Boltzmann method was utilized to portray the unsteady aerodynamics of wake flows. The pressure and velocity distributions were employed to examine the flow structure against the engine room under-cover. It was found that the flow acceleration near the under-cover drops the pressure on the surface of the under-cover. This low pressure distribution decreases the lift force. Then, the accelerated flow reduced the back-flow region in the rear wake and the drag force decreases.

Historically American society has seen women, African Americans, colored peoples and Jews with bias and discrimination. Even though they still suffer from disadvantages in their real world, however, it seems that misogyny, racism and anti-Semitism have lost their theoretical powers. In this sense, homophobia will be the last acceptable prejudice. During the last twenty years, queer culture has provided positive aspects in raising the political and social position of homosexuals. But it shows its limit, and the fear and dislike of homosexuality are still in the societies supporting the traditional gender system. So, the intention of the paper is to discuss the social roles and effects of homophobia, analyzing four American plays, Tea and Sympathy (1953), Boys in the Band (1968), Take Me Out (2002) and The Little Dog Laughed (2006). In the late 19th century, a growing psychiatric tendency defined homosexuality as abnormal condition and a homosexual became a mental patient. On the bases of the medical perspectives, the chapter II, III and IV shows how homosexuality as mental disease, sissphobia and homosexual’s masochism are presented by analyzing Tea and Sympathy and Boys in the Band. Gay liberationists emphasized and promoted the ‘coming out’ as a means of social transformation. But, still even in the 21st century, homosexuls are suffering from homophobia. In the chapter V, the meaning of coming out is discussed through Take Me Out and The Little Dog Laughed.

사이버 보안의 중요성이 부각됨에 따라 국가는 소프트웨어 개발보안 가이드를 배포하여 개발자들이 안전한 소프트웨어를 개발하도록 제시하고 있다. 하지만 이런 조치에도 불구하고 많은 개발자들이 시큐어 프로그래밍을 제대로 수행하지 못하고 있는 것이 현실이다. 본 논문에서 소개하는 시큐어 프로그래밍 학습 플랫폼은 개발자들의 시큐어 프로그래밍 습관화를 목표로, 개발자들이 본인의 개발 과정에서 발생하는 다양한 취약점을 인지하고 이를 개선하도록 하여 시큐어 프로그래밍의 학습을 유도한다. As the importance of cyber-security emerges, the state is encouraging developers to develop safe software by distributing software development security guidelines. However, despite this measures, the reality is that many developers are not properly performing secure programming. The secure programming learning platform introduced in this paper aims to make it a habit of secure programming for developers, and induces learning of secure programming by allowing developers to recognize and improve various vulnerabilities that occur in their own development process.
