데이터 마이닝과 지능 모델링에 기반한 에칭공정의 공정관리시스템설계

A semiconductor manufacturing process is the complicate and dynamic process, and consists of many sub-processes. An etching process is the most important process in the semiconductor fabrication. In this paper, the decision support system based upon data mining and knowledge discovery is an important factor to improve the productivity and yield. The proposed decision support system consists of a neural network model and an inference system based on fuzzy logic. Firstly, the product results are predicted by the neural network model constructed by the product patterns that represent the quality of the etching process. And the product patters are classified by expert's knowledge. Finally, the product conditions are estimated by the fuzzy inference system using the rules extracted from the classified patterns. Prediction of product qualities can be linked to each input and process variables. We employ data mining and intelligent techniques to find the best condition of the etching process. The proposed decision support system is efficient and easy to be implemented for the process management based upon expert's knowledge. 반도체 공정은 많은 단위 공정으로 이루어진 복잡하고 동적인 공정이다. 그 중 에칭공정은 반도체 생산에서 중요한 공정 중 하나이다. 본 논문에서는 데이터 마이닝과 지식 획득을 통한 의사지원시스템으로 생산성과 수율을 높일 수 있는 시스템을 구성하고자 하였다. 제안된 방법은 퍼지 논리와 신경망으로 구성되는데, 신경망으로 에칭공정의 품질을 나타내는 품질에 대한 결과를 예측하고, 예측된 결과를 퍼지 추론 시스템으로 분류하는 과정으로 수행된다. 퍼지 논리에 사용된 규칙은 전문가의 지식에 기반하여 도출되거나 데이터로부터 도출된다. 본 시스템을 통해 공정의 최적 조건을 찾아 효율을 높이는 것이 본 연구의 주요 목표이다.
데이터마이닝 로드맵 개발과 수처리 응집제 제어를 위한 데이터마이닝 적용

본 논문은 정수장에서 사용하는 응집제의 종류를 결정하기 위한 시스템 개발에 관한 내용이다. 정수장은 여러 단위 처리장으로 구성되며, 불순물을 제거하기 위하여 혼화지에서 응집제를 주입하여 침전을 시킨다. 현재까지 응집제 결정을 위해 Jar-test를 이용하는데, 이 방법은 사람의 주관적인 판단에 의존하므로 실험 오차가 발생할 수 있다. 특히 정수장의 자동화를 위한 시스템 개발에서 가장 큰 걸림돌로 작용하고 있다. 본 논문은 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 로드맵에 기초한 데이터마이닝 기법을 이용하여 응집제를 선택할 수 있는 제어기를 개발하였다. 제어 규칙은 클러스터링 기법으로 도출하였는데, 군집의 초기 값과 개수는 통계적 지수 값을 사용하여 결정하였다. In coagulant control of water treatment plants, rule extraction, one of datamining categories, was performed for coagulant control of a water treatment plant. Clustering methods were applied to extract control rules from data. These control rules can be used for fully automation of water treatment plants instead of operator's knowledge for plant control. To perform fuzzy clustering, there are some coefficients to be determined and these kinds of studies have been performed over decades such as clustering indices. In this study, statistical indices were taken to calculate the number of clusters. Simultaneously, seed points were found out based on hierarchical clustering. These statistical approaches give information about features of clusters, so it can reduce computing cost and increase accuracy of clustering. The proposed algorithm can play an important role in datamining and knowledge discovery.

문학 작품은 그것이 어떤 형태로 쓰여졌든지 인간과 인생을 주제로 하여 작가의 예술적 표현양식이라는 형식을 통해 독자에게 제시된다. 문학 작품의 주제 곧 그것이 담고 있는 사상과, 그것을 예술로 재현해낸 표현양식에 대한 논의는 문학을 둘러싼 가장 오래된, 그리고 가장 중요한 논쟁 가운데 하나이다. 문학작품의 주제와 형식이라는 두 요소는 인간의 영혼과 육체의 관계처럼 불가분의 관계를 가지고 있기 때문에 한 편의 문학작품의 가치가, 작품이 담고 있는 사상과 진리의 위대함에 있는가 혹은 그 사상을 표현한 예술 형식의 뛰어남에 있는가 하는 질문은 일견 모순으로 보인다. 왜냐하면 시대를 초월하여 위대한 예술가는 자신의 주제와 그 표현 양식의 유기적인 조화를 목표로 삼기 때문이다.
존 파울즈의 『마법사』 : 픽션과 리얼리티의 유희적 세계 A Game of Fiction and Reality

The Magus is a story about the conflict between reality and fiction, which is one of the crucial dilemmas of the modem novelists. Nicholas Urfe, the protagonist, could not face the realities of his existence; instead, he tried to escape from them, longing for the distant fantasy and the fictional beauty. He left London where realities dominate for a Greek island, a distant and exotic paradise. In Greece, Nick met Maurice Conchis, a mysterious millionaire who led Nick to his Godgame, a maze of fiction and reality. He narrated his life story and presented a meta-theater in which the realities endlessly turned into fiction. He manipulated the stage where "every truth was a sort of lie; and every lie a sort of truth" so as to "improvise realities more real than realities." In so doing, Conchis, the agent of the novelist, enjoyed a God-like status, being omnipotent and ubiquitous. At the end of his troublesome quest, Nick returned to London and met Alison who was once known to Nick for committing suicide. From the overwhelming and breathtaking games with Conchis, Nick reached a realization not of the dichotomous confrontation between fiction and reality but of the dialectical compromise of the two. He came back to the starting point and "know the place for the first time," because all those confusing experiences of his strengthened him, because he is now armed with a self-realization about and a new loyalty to his own existence, and because he became a Magus himself.
헌신과 개입 : 존 파울즈의 실존주의 세계관 John Fowles's Existentialism

The search for the individual selfhood and existential freedom, the significance of choice, and the consequent self-realization are the major critical concerns about John Fowles's novels. The heroes in Fowles's novels, Nicholas Urfe in The Magus and Charles Smithson in The French Lieutenant's Woman, showed themselves, at the beginning of each novel, as the representatives of modem man who could not find their authenticity. They can not make direct contact with their reality; they are suffering from existential "boredom," "alienation," "anxiety" and "self-deception." In the course of the novels, the heroes are undergoing existential quests for true selfhood, and find themselves facing the critical moments when important choices should be made. They choose and their choices lead them to the realization that there is no omnipotent God who regulates the fates of the individuals and that they must become fully aware of the true character of their present being. Finally, they recognize that in order to live meaningful and authentic lives, they must not only achieve individual freedom and choose their existential selfhood, but also must commit themselves to their own lives, walk into their own existence and live bravely in their immediate present. The existential wisdom that Fowles revealed through the existential quests of his heroes helps us understand Fowles's view of art. As a modern novelist who lives in the age of 'End of Novel,' 'Death of Author,' and 'Deconstruction,' Fowles tries to ensure the possibilities of the novel genre through various formal experiments. As he asks his protagonists to involve and commit to their own existence, Fowles endeavors to show himself committing to the responsibility of the artist, facing every dilemmas of the modem novelists.

Several equipments for flame detection are employed in the power generations. But these flame detectors have some problems for the correct performance. So in this paper, we apply different techniques for the flame detection. Image processing techniques are broadly applied in industrial fields. In this paper, the image information is recorded by a camcoder and then these images are preprocessed for the input values of neural network model. We can test and evaluate the approach that uses image information for the flame detection of burners. If this technique is implemented in physical plant, the economical and effective operation could be achieved. 현재 사용중인 화염 검출기들은 화염 검출에 있어서의 특정 문제점들을 종종 나타내고 있다. 이러한 문제점들을 해결하기 위하여 본 논문에서는 캠코더로 획득한 이미지를 적절하게 전치리한 후 신경망의 입력으로 사용하여 화염을 검출하였다. 이미지를 이용한 화염검출의 경우 보일러 외부에서 데이터를 획득하기 때문에 내부열에 대한 영향들을 줄일 수 있는 방법으로 현재 적용 중인 센서에 기반한 화염검출 방법과는 구별된다. 그리고 패턴 분류를 위하여 사용한 신경망 모델은 다른 버너의 화염에 의한 유사정보들을 잘 분류하기 때문에 화염검출기의 부정확한 동작을 줄일 수 있다. 신경망은 각 조건에 대한 특징을 학습하고 학습된 정보를 바탕으로 효율적인 화염검출을 수행한다.

The objectives of this study were to introduce the easiest and most proper applications of datamining in industrial processes. Applying datamining in manufacturing is very different from applying it in marketing. Misapplication of datamining in manufacturing system results in significant problems. Therefore, it is very important to determine the best procedure and technique in advance. In previous studies, related literature has been introduced, but there has not been much description of datamining applications. Research has not often referred to descriptions of particular examples dealing with application problems in manufacturing. In this study, a datamining roadmap was proposed to support datamining applications for industrial processes. The roadmap was classified into three stages, and each stage was categorized into reasonable classes according to the datamining purposed. Each category includes representative techniques for datamining that have been broadly applied over decades. Those techniques differ according to developers and application purposes; however, in this paper, exemplary methods are described. Based on the datamining roadmap, nonexperts can determine procedures and techniques for datamining in their applications.
