        복합시스템 고장진단을 위한 다중신경망 개발

        Automated production system is composed of many complicated techniques and it become a very difficult task to control, monitor and diagnose this compound system. Moreover, it is required to develop an effective diagnosing technique and reduce the diagnosing time while operating the system in parallel under many faults occurring concurrently. This study develops a Modular Artificial Neural Network(MANN) which can perform a diagnosing function of multiple faults with the following steps: 1) Modularizing a complicated system into subsystems. 2) Formulating a hierarchical structure by dividing the subsystem into many detailed elements. 3) Planting an artificial neural network into hierarchical module. The system developed is implemented on workstation platform with X-Windows^ⓡ which provides multi-process, multi-tasking and IPC facilities for visualization of transaction, by applying the software written in ANSI-C^ⓡ together with MOTIF^ⓡ on the fault diagnosis of PI feedback controller reactor. It can be used as a simple stepping stone towards a perfect multiple diagnosing system covering with various industrial applications, and further provides an economical approach to prevent a disastrous failure of huge complicated systems.

        자동차용 Adjust Plate Progressive 금형 개발

        A automatic production system was developed for high productivity and safety. The semi-progressive die was unfavorable for more productivity, safety, material extravagance and incongruent high-speed production. Developed progressive die is suitable for the high production and guarantee triple production by acceptance of three array type for automobile adjust plate. We adopt Pro-Engineer^ⓕ for three dimensional computer aided design suitable for the disassembly and assembly evaluation. The conclusion of this study is as follow. First press die solid modeling system is built by using Pro-Engineer^ⓕ through this research and verified allowable tolerance and possibility of assembly and disassembly of parts. Therefore we can reduce die manufacturing time and cost. Second, We produce 1000 units per hot coil 1ton by traditional method, but we can acomplish material saving effect about effect about 12% as 1120 units in case of new progressive die. Fourth, we acomplished manufacturing cost curtailment effect more than 20% in comparison with traditional method.

        지적보전시스템의 실시간 다중고장진단 기법 개발

        Modem production systems are very complex by request of automation, and failure modes that occur in thisautomatic system are very various and complex. The efficient fault diagnosis for these complex systems is essential for productivity loss prevention and cost saving. Traditional fault diagnostic system which performs sequential fault diagnosis can cause catastrophic failure during diagnosis when fault propagation is very fast . This paper describes the Real-time Intelligent Multiple Fault Diagnosis System (RIMFDS). RIMFDS assesses current machine condition by using sensor signals. This system deals with multiple fault diagnosis, comprising of two main parts. One is a personal computer for remote signal generation and transmission and the other is a host system for multiple fault diagnosis. The signal generator generates various faulty signals and image information and sends them to the host. The host has various modules and agents for efficient multiple fault diagnosis. A SUN workstation is used as a host for multiple fault diagnosis and graphic representation of the results. RIMFDS diagnoses multiple faults with fast fault propagation and complex physical phenomenon. The new system based on multiprocessing diagnoses by using Hierarchical Artificial Neural Network (HANN)

        수평제어구조시스템은 기존의 전통적인 계층구조 방식에 비하여 제조시스템의 확장과 컴퓨팅자원의 분산과 밀집도 분산에 대하여 아주 탁월한 구조이다. 자동제조시스템의 네트워크의 발전을 추적해 보면서 이 논문은 시스템의 복잡도를 줄이고 확장성이 좋고 구성이 매우 용이한 수평구조 시스템을 관한 설계원칙에 대하여 논하고 제조시스템의 한 구성요소중 지능형 에이전트의 개념의 실시간 적용의 좋은 본보기와 고장진단 시스템을 제시한다. The Heterarchical structure provides a more attractive solution to the conventional hierarchical structure as the density and level of distribution of computing resources in manufacturing system expands. Tracing the evolution of control structure for automated manufacturing systems, this paper discusses the design principles for heterarchical system to reduce complexity, increase extendability, flexible configurability and suggests a good example of real-time adaption using the concept of intelligent agent of manufacturing entities and fault diagnosis system

      • 기계가공 자동화용 실시간 제어모듈 개발

        This paper describes the systematic control method of process information transfer and machine cell control in FMS implementation. We constructed a experimental FMS computer network and control system. The system hardware consisted of host computer to manager process data and information transfer of machine cells, cell control computers to control machine cells (NC lathe, Machining center). On the other hand, software is made up of order management module, NC program searching and generation module, NC part program error check module and cell control module. In this study, we could arrive at conclusion as following ; The first, each task could be accomplished by the efficient information transfer in hierarchical computer network. The second, data base system of part programs and process control data is needed for the efficient information transfer and production management. Lastly, expansion of FMS control system could be achieved by the hierarchical and decentralized computer control system.

      • 수치제어 선반용 파트프로그램 검사시스템 개발

        This paper describes displaying NC part program checking on the CRT monitor, before it is transfer to NC controller. Operating NC machine without testing may cause workpiece material consumption and in the case of wrong part program it is very dangerous and it can result a serious break down of the high price NC machine. Thus NC Part Program Checking system is developed mainly for turning operation using C language on IBM-PC/486 or compatible series.
