십자형으로 배열된 구형 마이크로스트립 어레이 안테나의 복사패턴을 이론적으로 수하였으며, 이는 기존의 전송선 모델과 유전체로 채워진 평행-평판 도파로부터 구하였다. 그리고 십자형으로 배열된 5-패치 어레이 안테나의 복사패턴의 이론치는 실험치와 비교한 결과 양호한 결과를 얻었다. Theoretical method for analyzing the radiation pattern of cross-type 5-patch rectangular microstrip antenna is presented. The equivalent circuit of the array antenna is represented by the conventional transmission line model and the radiation admittance derived from the equivalent circuit of the slitted parallel-plate waveguide filled with a dielectric. The calculated results for the radiation pattern are compared with the measured values.

본 논문에서는 포트 임피던스가 75옴인 실내 디지털 TV (DTV)용 안테나의 특성 측정 방법에 대해 소개하였다. 일반적인 RF (혹은 마이크로파) 시스템과 측정 장비의 기준 임피던스는 거의 대부분 50옴이다. 이에 비해 실내 디지털 TV용 안테나의 기준 임피던스는 75옴이므로 기준 임피던스가 50옴인 측정 장비를 이용하여 직접 특성을 측정할 수 없다. 50옴을 기준으로 하는 장비를 이용하여 75옴에 적합하도록 설계된 안테나의 특성(임피던스, 복사패턴 및 이득)에 대한 측정방법을 소개하였다. In this paper, measurement methods for the characteristics of antennas for indoor digital TV (DTV), having 75-ohm port impedance, are introduced. Reference impedance of typical radio frequency (or microwave) systems and measurement equipments is 50 ohm. However, the reference impedance of antennas for indoor DTV is 75 ohm, and the characteristics of the antennas cannot be measured directly using the measurement equipments. Measurement methods, using test equipments with reference impedance of 50 ohm, for the characteristics(impedance, radiation patterns, and gain) of antennas designed to fit for 75 ohm port are introduced.
분할 링 공진기를 이용한 소형 CPW급전 슬롯 안테나 설계

본 논문에서는 분할 링 공진기(SRR; split-ring resonator)를 이용한 소형 코플래너 도파관(CPW; coplanar waveguide)급전 슬롯 안테나에 대한 설계 방법을 연구하였다. 제안된 슬롯 안테나는 슬롯의 길이를 줄이기 위해 사각형 모양의 SRR 도체가 슬롯 내에 장하되었다. SRR 도체와 슬롯 사이의 간격, SRR 도체의 폭의 변화에 따른 입력 전압 정재파비(VSWR; voltage standing wave) 특성을 분석하여 최적의 설계 변수를 도출하였다. 2.45 GHz 대역에서 최적화된 소형 슬롯 안테나를 FR4 기판 상에 $36mm{\times}30mm$ 크기로 제작하였다. 제안된 소형 슬롯 안테나의 길이는 기존의 사각형 슬롯 안테나에 비해 14.3% 줄어들었다. 실험 결과, VSWR < 2인 대역이 2.4-2.49 GHz으로 2.45 GHz 대역에서 동작하는 것을 확인하였고, 2.45 GHz에서 이득은 2.3 dBi로 측정되었다. In this paper, a design method for a compact CPW-fed slot antenna using SRRs is studied. The structure of the proposed slot antenna is a rectangular slot antenna loaded with SRR conductors inside the slot to reduce the antenna size. Optimal design parameters are obtained by analyzing the effects of the gap between the SRR conductors and slot, and the width of the SRR conductors on the input VSWR characteristic. The optimized compact slot antenna operating at 2.45 GHz band is fabricated on an FR4 substrate with a dimension of 36 mm by 30 mm. The length of the proposed compact slot antenna is reduced to 14.3% compared to that of a conventional rectangular slot antenna. Experiment results show that the antenna has a desired impedance characteristic with a frequency band of 2.4-2.49 GHz for a VSWR < 2, and measured gain of 2.3 dBi at 2.45 GHz.

Background and Objectives There have been no reports in Korea regarding cochlear implantsurgeries using Cochlear Nucleus Profile Slim Modiolar electrode [CI532 (Cochlear Ltd.)],as it has been recently released in Korea. We aimed to investigate the short-term results of CI532and compare them with previous devices with perimodiolar or straight electrodes arrays fromthe same manufacturer. Subjects and Method From August 2018 to July 2019, 52 patients (26 adults; 26 children)who underwent cochlear implantation of CI532 were included. The intraoperative impedanceand evoked compound action potential (ECAP) threshold in each electrode were analyzed andcompared with the devices with a perimodiolar electrode array [Contour Advance® (CochlearLtd.)] and a lateral wall electrode array [CI422 and CI522 (Cochlear Ltd.)]. Postoperative changesof hearing thresholds at each frequency (250, 500, and 1000 Hz) and aided word recognitionscores (WRS) were also compared. Results CI532 showed significantly lower intraoperative impedance in the basal regionscompared to the lateral wall electrode array. The ECAP thresholds of CI532 in the apical electrodeswere significantly lower than that in the other two groups. After implantation, CI532showed a significant preservation of hearing thresholds at most frequencies and showed significantlyhigher preservation rates than the other electrodes. However, there was no differencebetween the three groups regarding the postoperative short-term aided WRS. Conclusion CI532 showed lower intraoperative impedances and ECAP thresholds, and bettershort-term hearing preservation outcomes compared to the other electrodes, suggesting thatCI532 electrode might be a better option with less traumatic insertion. However, there was nosignificant difference in the aided WRS, and further studies with a longer follow-up are necessaryto examine the difference of audiologic outcomes.

The flexural vibration characteristics of a sandwich beam system with a partially inserted viscoelastic layer have been quantitatively studied using a finite element analysis in combination with a sine-sweep test. Antisymmetric mode shapes of the flexural vibration were visualized by the holographic interferometry and agreed with those calculated by the finite element simulation. Effects of the beam thickness as well as the length and thickness of partial viscoelastic layers on the system loss factor(η$\_$s/) and resonant frequency($\omega$$\_$r/) were significantly large fur the symmetric and antisymmetric modes of the beam system.
플라이 애쉬가 콘크리트 구조물의 철근 부식에 미치는 영향

Addition of fly ash has beneficial effects on some mechanical properties of concrete, as well as the corrosion process induced by the chloride ion. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of fly ash on the steel corrosion in concrete with various water-to-binder ratios. The corrosion process of steel bars embedded in concrete without fly ash and with 20% fly ash was tested under complete immersion, in 3.5 wt.% NaCl solution. Monitoring of open-circuit potential and linear polarization method and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS) were used to follow the corrosion process. Also, ASTM C1202 test method was used to estimate the concrete's resistivity of chloride penetration in concrete. The results obtained from electrochemical tests show that the use of fly ash has led to the improvement of corrosion resistance. Partial cement replacement by fly ash caused significant pore refinement, reduced permeability to chloride ions, and increased corrosion resistance.
