헬기 시장진입 가능성을 수요측면, 산업구조측면, 인프라측면에서 검토하였다. 검토 결과 일부 부족기술의 확보와 금융과 헬기 관련 제도 등을 보완하면 내수를 중심으로 진입이 가능하다는 결론을 도출하였다. 헬기산업의 성장동력화를 위한 추진전략을 제시하고 전략 달성을 위하여 헬기수요의 지속적 창출, 핵심 부품 소재 육성 및 경쟁우위 기술력 확보, 인증 및 운용활성화 인프라 구축, 금융제도 개선 추진, 그리고 헬기 민ㆍ군ㆍ관 상시 정책조정기능 강화를 5대 추진과제로 제안하였다. We study the possibility of entering into helicopter market with respect to demand, industry structure and infrastructure. In conclusion, it is possible to enter into it based on domestic demand if we complement some technology, financial assistance system and helicopter operation related regulation. Strategy is made for helicopter industry to be a growth driver and then we suggest five projects to carry out it. Those are lasting creation of helicopter demand, possession of core part material and competitive technology, construction of airworthiness certification system and infrastructure for activation of helicopter operation, improvement of financial assistance system and finally strengthening policy modulation between civil, army, and government.

Large-scale Multi-disciplinary Systems(LMS) such as transportation, aerospace, defense etc. are complex systems in which there are many subsystems, interfaces, functions and demanding performance requirements. Because many contractors participate in the development, it is necessary to apply methods of sharing common objectives and communicating design status effectively among all of the stakeholders. The processes and methods of systems engineering which includes system requirement analysis; functional analysis; architecting; system analysis; interface control; and system specification development provide a success-oriented disciplined approach to the project. This paper shows not only the methodology and the results of model-based systems engineering to Automated Guided Transit(AGT) system as one of LMS systems, but also propose the extension of the model-based tool to help manage a project by linking WBS (Work Breakdown Structure), work organization, and PBS (Product Breakdown Structure). In performing the model-based functional analysis, the focus was on the operation concept of an example rail system at the top-level and the propulsion/braking function, a key function of the modern automated rail system. The model-based behavior analysis approach that applies a discrete-event simulation method facilitates the system functional definition and the test and verification activities. The first application of computer-aided tool, RDD-100, in the railway industry demonstrates the capability to model product design knowledge and decisions concerning key issues such as the rationale for architecting the top-level system. The model-based product design knowledge will be essential in integrating the follow-on life-cycle phase activities. production through operation and support, over the life of the AGT system. Additionally, when a new generation train system is required, the reuse of the model-based database can increase the system design productivity and effectiveness significantly.
Transformative Vertical Flight 개발 및 기술 동향

본 논문에서는 최근 관심이 집중되고 있는 Distributed Electric Propulsion(DEP)과 같은 전기/하이브리드 동력을 채택하는 등 혁신적인 수직이착륙기 개발 현황 및 기술 동향에 대해 정리하였다. 2016년도 72nd AHS Forum의 Transformative Vertical Flight 특별 세션에서 발표된 자료들을 주요 분석 대상으로 하였다. 미국 DARPA VTOL X-Plane 사업에 참여한 기업들의 연구 결과가 주를 이루나, NASA의 SCEPTOR 사업과 DARPA의 ARES 사업에 대해서도 분석하였다. 또한 FVL, JMR-TD, 전기동력 헬리콥터와 유인 멀티콥터 기술도 소개하였다. This paper describes the survey results on current development and technology status of innovative VTOL(Vertical Take-off and Landing) incorporating advanced technology such as electrical/hybrid propulsion and DEP(Distributed Electric Propulsion). I reviewed those papers presented at 72nd AHS(American Helicopter Society) Forum Transformative Vertical Flight Special Session 2016. In addition to DARPA(Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) VTOL X-plane(Vertical Take-Off and Landing Experiment Aircraft), NASA(National Aeronautics and Space administration) SCEPTOR(Scalable Convergent Electric Propulsion Technology and Operations Research), DARPA ARES(Aerial Reconfigurable Embedded System) and FVL(Future Vertical Lift)/JMR-TD(Joint Multi-Role Technology Demonstration/electric helicopter/manned multicopter are investigated especially in viewpoints of program status and technical achievement.

A complex system like ATM(Air Traffic Management) has safety problem emerging from complex interactions between systems. In complex systems, malfunctions of components are not the only causes of critical accidents. To resolve this problem many researchers have proposed new safety analysis models for complex systems. This research is a way of improving safety analysis model focusing on systems engineering design model for ATM.

운용개념 개발 가이드와 프로세스 분석 및 작성 사례 연구

Operational Concept Descriptions or Document(OCD) shall be developed to understand stakeholder's desire for to-be-delivered system. But there is little study on methodology of OCD generation and many developers do not understand importance of OCD in Korea. According to Nicole Roberts' industry(18 U.S. companies and organizations) survey, only 30% of system development projects had OCD, too. Researchers and developers have opposing views regarding the generation of an OCD. Many researchers believe that the development and use of operational concepts at the start of large projects is essential. Alternatively, developers may view the OCD as a burden to the development process rather than an enabler due to the extensive documentation requirement. In this paper a couple of OCD guidelines were investigated to clarify how to build a CONOPS effectively and what to include. Finally, OCD for rotorcraft based Personal Air Vehicle System(PAVS) was developed as a case study. In the future, a template for generating OCD appropriate to Korean environment could be proposed.
