Purpose : To investigate the inhibitory effect of BHE on platelet aggregation and erythrocyte deformability, we performed following experiments. Methods : Concentrated Boyanghwanotang (BHE) was fed to rats for 10days. High dose group was treated with $500{\beta}{\partial}/kg$ and low dose group with $500{\beta}{\partial}/kg$. Results : BHE enhanced the blood filtration rate, reduced the platelet aggregability, inhibited granule release from collagen-stimulated platelet, the prostaglandin syn-thesis in platelet and enhanced erythrocyte deformability. Conclusion : BHE should inhibit thrombos formation due to platlete hyperaggregabili-ty and reduction of erythrocyte deformabi-lity.
단치소요산가미방이 Dexamethasone 처리한 랫드의 두개골 세포에 미치는 영향

It is well known that glucocorticoid may induce osteoporosis as its side effect in long-term therapy. The inhibition of osteoblast by glucocorticoid is also recognized as its action mechanism of decreased bone formation. In this study, the effect of DSG, Danchisoyosangamibang, on the differentiation and function of osteoblastic cells was investigated. The osteoblastic cells were isolated from rat calvariae using collagenase treatment. The cell counting, enzyme activity assay, MTT assay, collagen content assay were done to determine the cell proliferation, intracellular alkaline phosphatase (ALP) activity, bone martrix production, and cell apoptosis. DSG enhanced the cell proliferation after the culture for 10 days. ALP activity and total protein synthesis, and intracelluar collagen synthesis were increased time dependently when the cells were treated with DSG in the presence of dexamethasone. And, DSG restored calvarial cell function decreased by dexamethasone.
Power Conditioning System for a Grid Connected PV Power Generation Using a Quasi-Z-Source Inverter

This paper presents a grid connected photo-voltaic system using a quasi-Z-source inverter (QZSI) for power stage reduction. The power stage can be reduced because of an additional shoot-through stage which is a characteristic of QZSI. Therefore, by utilizing a QZSI the system’s efficiency can be increased. In this paper, for applying a QZSI to a PV system, control methods such as maximum power point tracking (MPPT), point of common coupling (PCC) current control and PWM are studied and verified through simulation and experiment. In order to explain the above controllers, the characteristics of a QZSI are first analyzed. Then the MPPT control technique with a modified P&O method, the PCC current control for the regulation of the dc-link capacitor voltage and the PWM methods for the proposed system are explained. The feasibility of the proposed algorithm is verified through simulation and experiment with a 3kW system.
계룡산(鷄龍山) 식물(植物)에 관(關)한 조사보고(調査報告)

계룡산(鷄龍山)은 북위(北緯) $36^{\circ}18^{\prime}{\sim}36^{\circ}23^{\prime}$, 동경(東經) $127^{\circ}10^{\prime}{\sim}127^{\circ}17^{\prime}$ 사이에 위치하고 있으며, 공주군(公州郡), 논산군(論山郡), 대덕군(大德郡)의 경계(境界)를 이루고 있다. 필자들은 1979년(年) 5월(月)부터 10월(月)까지 10차례에 걸처 이지역의 식물상(植物相)을 조사(調査)하였다. 식물상(植物相)은 비교적(比較的) 다양(多樣)하며 주요 식물(植物)은 소나무, 신갈나무, 졸참나무, 굴참나무, 비목나무, 까치박달나무, 좁은단풍나무, 때죽나무, 사람주나무, 참회나무, 팟배나무, 국수나무, 병꽃나무, 진달래, 싸리, 조릿대, 노박덩굴, 새 억새등이며 105과(科) 355속(屬) 679종(種)이다. 이들 식물(植物)을 이용도(利用度)에 따라서 분류(分類)하면 다음과 같다. 식용식물(食用植物) 69과(科) 287종(種), 약용식물(藥用植物) 83과(科) 227종(種), 초자파식물(草資派植物) 60과(科) 253종(種), 관상식물(觀賞植物) 44과(科) 132종(種), 용재수종(用材樹種) 12과(科) 39종(種)등이다. Mt. Kyeryong(828 meters in height) is located at $36^{\circ}18^{\prime}{\sim}36^{\circ}23^{\prime}$ N.L. and $127^{\circ}10^{\prime}{\sim}127^{\circ}17^{\prime}$ E.L., and also occupies three districts: Gongju-Gun, Nonsan-Gun, Daedeok-Gun. Authors surveyed the flora of the areas ten times from May to October, 1979. Variability of floras is rather high and dominant species are such as Pinus densiflora, Quercus mongolica, Quercus serrata, Quercus variabilis, Lindera erythrocarpa, Carpinus cordata, Acer pseudo-sieboldianum var. koreanum, Strax japonica, Sapium japonicum, Euonymus oxyphyllus, Sorbus alnifolia, Stephanandra incisa, Weigela subsessilis, Rhododendron mutcronulatum, Lespedeza bicolor, Sasa borealis, Celastrus orbiculatus, Arundinella hirta, Miscanthus sinensis var. purpurascans, and so on. There are 105 families, 355 genera, 679 species. According to the use of floras, they can be classified as follows; 69 familia and 287 species for edible source, 83 familia and 227 species of medicinal, 60 familia and 253 species for forage, 44 familia and 132 species for ornamental and 12 familia and 39 species for timber source.
