The purpose of this research is to investigate the mechanical property and ductile-brittle transition temperature of Ti-Nb-P added extra low carbon interstitial free steel having a tensile strength of 440 MPa. The mechanical property and transition temperature of hot rolled steel sheets were more influenced by the coiling temperature rather than by the small amount of alloying element. Further, at the same composition, the property of the specimen coiled at low temperature was superior to that obtained at higher coiling temperature. The fracture surface of 0.005C-0.2Si-1.43Mn steel coiled at $630^{\circ}C$ showed a ductile fracture mode at $-100^{\circ}C$, but coiling at $670^{\circ}C$ showed a transgranular brittle fracture mode at $-90^{\circ}C$. The galvannealed 0.006C-0.07Si-1.33Mn steel sheet annealed at $810^{\circ}C$ has tensile strength and elongation of 442.8 MPa and $36.6\%$, respectively. The transition temperature of galvannealed 0.006C-0.07Si-1.33Mn steel sheet was increased with a drawing ratio, and the transition temperature of the galvannealed 0.006C-0.07Si-1.33Mn steel was $-60^{\circ}C$ at a drawing ratio of 1.8

Stent implantation in the upper gastrointestinal (UGI) tract is now widely accepted for achieving palliative symptom relief of patients who have malignant UGI obstruction and causative symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, malnutrition and acid reflux. With the increased technical progress and clinical experiences, it has become possible to perform this procedure with more safety and convenience. However, clinicians should also focus on the post-procedural management because complications such as stent migration or in-stent tumor growth could occur. On the other hand, temporary stent insertion is an effective treatment option for benign diseases such as pyloric strictures due to benign peptic ulcer, esophageal perforation or leakage on the anastomosis site. In this review, several issues about stent implantation in the UGI tract, such as the main indications, the current status and the expected applications in other fields in the near future, are briefly discussed. 상부 위장관의 스텐트 삽입술은 근치적 수술이 불가능한 상부 악성 종양에 의한 협착 환자의 폐쇄 증상 완화를 위한 보존적 치료로서 확립되었다. 내시경 개발 기술이 발달하고 임상 경험이 축적됨에 따라 이제는 여러 상부위장관 질환에서 스텐트 삽입술을 보다 편리하고 안전하게 시행할 수 있게 되었다. 또한, 악성 병변의 보존적 치료뿐 아니라 소화성 궤양에 의한 양성 협착, 식도 천공 혹은 수술 후 문합부 누출 등의 질환에서도 일시적인 스텐트 삽입술로 치료 효과를 거둘 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 본 종설에서는 최근 상부 위장관 스텐트 삽입술의 현황, 그리고 앞으로 기대되는 임상적 응용 분야에 대하여 기술하였다.
