        We get much information through web and the web contents are changing by day or week. The webmaster manages web contents by communicating with the contents provider. The web contents usually consists of parts of a web page and should be changed by day or week depends on its contents. So it needs time and effort between the webmaster and the contents provider because they communicate by off line such as phone, fax, and sometimes email. In this paper, we design a Program Generator of web contents modification. The webmaster generates the contents modification program using the generator and the contents provider modifies the web contents using the modification program. The contents provider upload the web sontents easily without knowledge of web and design skill.

        국가정보자원 활용을 위한 상향식 ICT 자원 및 서비스 맵 구축 방법

        Each government utilizes ICT(Information and Communication Technology) for their service to citizens and national information resource managements. By the bottom approach, we construct an experimental map that classifies ICT as 3 EA levels(service, data/contents, infra) and 3 service management levels(plan, do, check/action) for their possible utilization to national information resource managements. Using the map, we evaluates each ICT technology's importance with Gartner Hype Cycle and quadrants for their further possible application. Of the 9 areas on the map, we choose data/contents and do area which includes big data and LOD technologies, and analyze their technological trends, major issues and policy implications. 각국의 정부는 국민에 대한 서비스 향상과 국가정보자원 관리를 위하여 ICT 기술을 많이 활용하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 상향식 접근 방법으로 국가정보자원 관리 및 활용을 위한 ICT 기술을 찾아내기 위하여 ICT 기술들을 EA 자원별로 서비스, 데이터/콘텐츠, 인프라의 3단계, 기획, 관리/활용, 평가의 서비스 관리 단계별로 3단계 총 9개의 영역에 배치하여 실험적인 맵을 구축하였다. 맵을 이용하여 각 기술의 국가정보자원 관리에 적용가능성을 찾아내고, 찾아낸 기술의 중요성을 가트너 하이프 사이클, 사분면을 이용하여 평가하고 향후 활용 가능성을 살펴보았다. 분석 사례의 하나로 9개 활용 기술 영역의 하나인 데이터/콘텐츠, 관리/활용 영역에 포함된 빅데이터 및 LOD 기술에 대하여 기술동향, 주요이슈, 정책적 시사점 찾는 분석을 하였다.

      • 데이터베이스 스키마 통합을 위한 XSLT 연산

        In distributed computing environments, there are many database applications that should share data each other such as data warehousing and data mining with autonomy on local databases. The first step to such applications is the integration of heterogeneous database schema, but there is no accepted common data model for the integration and also are difficulties on the construction of integration program. In this paper, we use the XML Schema for the representation of common data model and exploit XSLT for reducing the programming difficulties. We define the schema integration operations and develop a methodology for the semi-automatic schema integration according to schema conflicts types. Our integration method has benefits on standization, extendibility and reuse on schema integration process comparing to existing methodologies.

      • 알고리즘 교육을 위한 온라인 알고리즘 뱅크 구현

        With internet technology, e-learning gradually replace the off-line learning. For an e-learning class, many voice and video technics for enhancing student teacher interaction. But for programming exercise courses, it's very difficult to add interactive components via web browser. In this paper, we make and online algorithm bank to manage and search algorithms, build and programming exercise interface on web. Students can edit, compile and execute programs included in online algorithm bank. We also animated some representative programs like sorting, tree traversal, graph traversal, to help student understand those algorithms easily. Online program compile and execution enhance e-learning effectiveness for programming courses and make students feel ease for computer algorithms.

      • 구조와 내용 유사도에 기반한 XML 문서 검색

        Extensible Markup Language (XML) is an Internet standard that is used to express and convert data. In order to find the necessary information out of XML documents, you need a search system for XML documents. In this research, we have developed a search system that can find documents that matches the structure and content of a given XML document, making the best use of XML structure. Search metrics take account of the similarity in tag names, tag values, and the structure of tags. After a search, the system displays the ranked results in the order of aggregate similarity.

      • 구조와 내용 유사도에 기반한 XML 웹문서 검색시스템 구축

        XML is a standard for data expression and conversion on internet, and we need a XML document search system to find necessary information contained in XML documents. In this research, we developed a XML document searching system that find the most similar documents both in structure and content for given XML documents while making the best use XML structure. The search metrics used considers the similarity for each of tag's name, the similarity for the values included each tag, and the similarity for the structure among tags of XML documents. After searching, it displays a ranking of the calculated similarity result. The system provides three query methods of a search method using keyword,using tags and values, using a XML document. The three query methods support the choice of user search requirements to promote the usefulness of our system. We tested our system for XML documents provided by INEX.

      • 웹 브라우저를 이용한 다중 데이타베이스 검색 모델

        With the wide spread use of web browsers, many researches are focused on the access of remote databases by web browser, CGI can connect the web browser to the remote databases by calling the API in the database server. In this paper, we present a new model to connect the web browser to the remote databases by CORBA model which is a distributed object management standard. The presented model can naturally expanded to multidatabase system which must connect and interoperate heterogeneous databases in distributed systems. By using Java for the web browser interface, CORBA objects easily connected to web and high level user interface can be provided to the clients. The proposed multidatabase access model by web browser is very well suited to the information environments that is for access-oriented to anonymous clients such as library, tele-education, telemed, etc.

      • TPC-H와 데이터베이스 교육

        데이터베이스 교육에 있어서 문제점은 적절한 샘플 데이터 모델의 부재이다. 대부분의 샘플 데이터 모델은 아주 간단한 형태이며 실제 업무에서의 데이터와 비교하기 어려울 만큼 튜플 수도 적어 피교육자들이 실제 데이터베이스 업무에서는 적응력이 떨어지는 문제점이 있다. 현업에서 사용하는 데이터 모델이나 데이터는 각 기업이나 응용에 따라 너무 복잡하고 보안 때문에 교육용으로 사용하기는 어렵다. 따라서 데이터베이스 교육에 표준화된 적절 한 규모의 데이터베이스 샘플을 필요로 한다. TPC-H는 DSS 환경에서 데이터베이스의 성능을 측정하는 데이터베이스로 현 업무와 비슷하게 데이터 모델을 구성하였고 데이터도 현 업무와 비슷한 규모이다. 본 논문에서는 TPC-H를 데이터베이스 교육에 필요한 데이터 모델로, 정규화 모델로, 질의 모델로 사용하는 방법을 연구하였다.

        컴퓨터 전공 신입생의 성공적 적응 요인 분석

        As other major, students have difficulties to be successfully adapted to computer science major without some interest andprogramming skill to computer. In this paper, we try to find successful factors for computer science major freshmen students tocomputer programming. The factors we focused are programming experience before college entrance, taking liberal arts/naturalscience courses at high school, application motivations to computer major, existence of mentors, satisfaction to his/her computerdepartment, student’s holland job aptitude code. After analysis, taking liberal arts/natural science courses at high school, satisfactionto computer department, some holland job aptitude code are significant to their successful adaptation to computer major. Also, wefound the holland job apptitude code is closely related to student’s satisfaction to their major for engineering students includingcomputer science students. Our analysis results will be a suggestion for designing computer science education program with studentswho enters college without some aptitude or preparation to his major.

      • CORBA 환경에서 구현 언어에 따른 데이터베이스 접근 성능 평가

        CORBA is a standard for distributed object computing and it is shown that many application programs can be integrated and cooperated on distributed and heterogeneous environments. In this paper, we have experimented a performance test for various database clients on CORBA environments by its implementation languages. C++ and Java are very common implementation languages for servers and clients. By the experiment the Java server shows low peformance compared to C++ server but the Java client's performance is not more slow than C++'s. We show more performance index for distributed object system like RMI for implementors to choose the implementation language.
