The eects of lithium-doped yttrium were investigated in an attempt to improve the luminescent properties of Y2O3:Eu3+ phosphors. Li-doped Y2O3:Eu3+ thin-lm phosphors were deposited on Al2O3(0001) substrates at various temperatures for a xed oxygen pressure and at various oxygen pressures for a xed substrate temperature. The structure and morphology were characterized by using X-ray diraction patterns and atomic force microscopy (AFM). The microstructures of these lms were found to be highly dependent on the deposition temperature by denition deposition temperature is used during the deposition process. The AFM measurements from Y2O3:Eu3+ lms grown at dierent temperatures showed that the grain size increased as the substrate temperature increased from 500 C to 600 C. The photoluminescence (PL) brightness intensity depended on the substrate temperature and the oxygen pressure. The surface roughness of the Y2O3:Eu3+ lms had a strong eect on the PL response of the lms. The results presented in this letter suggest that Li+-ion doping eectively enhances the luminescent properties of Y2O3:Eu3+ thin-lm phosphors.

Due to the higher insulation and the air-tightness requirement in modern buildings have resulted NBS(New Building Syndrome) and SBS(Sick Building Syndrome) of IAQ problems. Therefore, energy efficient way of solving such IAQ issues are of major concern in these days and areas. This paper introduces a new technology and method to improve IAQ performance as well as to improve building energy performance with a DI(Dynamic Insulation) concept. The main idea to meet the goal is to use the DI concept similar to a heat recovery concept to prevent the heat loss path within the air path inside the dynamic insulation. The characteristic of the dynamic insulation is that the lower U-value as the higher air velocity through the DI. The porous media such as HEPA filter improves the IAQ to filter out the PM10 particles and other unhealthy particles. A energy performance simulation study has been conducted to show the energy impact of porous DI over the static insulation material. A twin test cell with a DI was modeled and simulated to show the DI energy saving impact for different ACH's. The results show that up tp 9 % energy with 2 ACH could be saved in the case with DI replaced in south faced insulation compared to the conventional insulation.

The phenomenon due to the abundance of material civilization and the destruct of environment provoke the damage to the order of nature in the earth. Breathing walls provide a practical and viable technology that enables provision of high quality indoor environments, uses less energy, and combats urban in their construction, and how they can be integrated in environmentally responsive buildings. The latest research findings into life-long particulate and bio-filtration will also be outlined. Design and construction of maintenance-free, modular breathing wall cladding panels and their implementation in actual building projects is briefly described. Forward, our KIER will study about U-value, ventilation and HEPA filter of the BW with the present equipment. If the job is well done, buildings can have a profound beneficial effect on the health, happiness and productivity of those who live and work in them.
기판온도와 레이저에너지에 따른 PbTe 박막의 결정구조 및 전기적 특성

To determine how crystalline structure of PbTe thin films vary according to the growth temperature and laser energy, PbTe thin films were grown using PLD method on p-Si(100) substrates under a substrate temperature changing between room temperature(RT) and 400℃, the thin films were also prepared under different laser energies ranging between 100 mJ and 300 mJ. As a result of analyzing XRD patterns and FWHM of PbTe(200) rocking curve, it was found that PbTe thin film grown at the growth temperature of 200℃ and that obtained with laser energy of 200 mJ were best crystallized. The measurement of Hall effect indicated that PbTe thin films were n-type semiconductors and the current-voltage characteristic curve exhibited the typical p-n junction phenomenon. In addition, electric conductivity of PbTe thin films was found somewhat higher than that of general semiconductors.

Wire ropes are widely used in cable car, suspension bridge and elevator, etc. and composed of single or multi-layer strands. It is difficult to find out the characteristics of a strand or wire rope because of complicated geometry and contact condition. In this study, the axial stiffness is evaluated using finite element method and reliable finite element analysis model is presented, taking into consideration the convergence on the length. The axial stiffness predictive equation of a strand is developed using analysis of variance, which can be applicable for characterizing the relationship between load and displacement when the strand configuration is determined.
