In order to measure the electric signals of PVDF piezoelectric sensors, electrodes should be reliably fabricated on the sensor surfaces. For this reason, we investigated the effect of the material and thickness of electrodes on the adhesion characteristics to the film type piezoelectric sensors. Gold, Platinum and silver were coated on the sensor surfaces by the plasma sputter under the 0.08 mbar of the vacuum pressure and 30mA of the sputtering current with respect to the coating time. We conducted adhesion tests (scratch test, pull-out test) between the film and the electrode. Also, we observed the coating thickness and adhesion interface by AFM(Atomic Force Microscope). Adhesion strength varied depending on the electrode materials and electrode Thickness.

Acute pancreatitis is the acute inflammatory disease of the pancreas. and abcomal pain on demanding emergency care is the major symptom of acute pancreatitis. In these two cases, we administrated oriental medical treatment with medical treatment such as fluid injection. After administration of these medication, clinical symtoms and clinicopathological figure improved. Oriental medical treatment showed disirable effect on acute pancreatitis.
혈부축어탕(血府逐瘀湯)이 혈전생성관여인자(血栓生成關與因子)에 미치는 영향(影響)

Purpose : To investigate the inhibitory effect of HCE on platelet aggragation and erythrocyte deformiability, we performed following experiments. Methods : Concentrated Hyulbuchukotang (HCE) was fed to rats for 10days. We compare normal group with $500{\beta}{\Sigma}/{\beta}{\Sigma}$-high dose group and $100{\beta}{\Sigma}/{\beta}{\Pi}$-low dose group. Results : HCE enhanced the blood filtration rate, erythrocyte deformiability, reduced the platelet aggreablilty and inhibited granule release from collagen stimulated platelet, the prostaglandin synthesis in platelat. Conclusion : HCE should inhibit thrombos formation due to platelet hyperaggraeability and reduction of erythrocyte defonmiability.
청심보혈탕(淸心補血湯)의 항암(抗癌) 및 면역증강효과(免疫增强效果)에 관(關)한 실험적(實驗的) 연구(硏究)

The aim of this experimental study was to evaluate the anti-tumor effects of Chungsimbohyeltang through investigation about viability of tumor cell by MTT assay, survival period of mice transplanted with L-1210 cells, growth inhibition on the tumor cell, body weight variation in mice transplanted with sarcoma-180 cells and its immunomodulatory effects through the investigation on delayed type hyper-sensitivity, the hemagglutinin and hemolysin titers for humoral immune response, the appearance of rosette forming cells for cell-mediated immune response, the natural killer cell activity, the transformation of lymphocyte, the productivity of Interleukin-2 and phagocytic index K was performed in immune-depressed ICR mice induced by methotrexate treatments. The results were as follows ; 1. $IC_{50}$ of Chungsimbohyeltang treated group was 5.85mg/ml in SNU-C4 cell, 1.38mg/ml in SNU-396 cell, 0.21mg/ml in SNU-1 cell, so it had low anti-tumor activity. 2. The both groups of Chungsimbohyeltang extract 10mg/kg and Chungsimbohyeltang extract 20mg/kg had no toxicity and the group of Chungsimbohyeltang 20mg/kg which was shown 120% in ILS had the effect of life prolongation in mice transplanted with L-1210 cells. 3. In the growth inhibition on the tumor cells, only the group of Chungsimbohyeltang extract 20mg/kg was noted and in the weight variation in mice transplanted with sarcoma-180 cells, both groups of Chungsimbohyeltang extract had a significant effect. 4. In the delayed type hypersensitivity and appearance of rosette forming cells, both groups of Chungsimbohyeltang extract didn't have any significant effect. 5. The hemagglutinin titers was slightly increased with no significance, and the hemolysin titers was significantly increased in the only group of Chungsimbohyeltang extract 20mg/kg. 6. The natural killer cell activity of the Chungsimbohyeltang extract groups was significantly increased in the ratio of 100:1 of effector and target cells, but it was not significantly increased in the ratio of 50:1, 10:1. 7. The transformation of lymphocyte and the productivity of Interleukin-2 were increased significantly and in dose-dependent manner in both group of Chungsimbohyeltang extract. 8. The phagocytic effect of macropage was significantly increased in both groups of Chungsimbohyeltang extract. Considering the results above, we could conclude that Chungsimbohyeltang have an indirect anti-tumor effect through the modulation of immunme response, although it had not toxicity on the tumor cell it self.
보양환오탕(補陽還五湯)이 혈전생성관여인자(血栓生成關與因子)에 미치는 영향(影響)

Purpose : To investigate the inhibitory effect of BHE on platelet aggregation and erythrocyte deformability, we performed following experiments. Methods : Concentrated Boyanghwanotang (BHE) was fed to rats for 10days. High dose group was treated with $500{\beta}{\partial}/kg$ and low dose group with $500{\beta}{\partial}/kg$. Results : BHE enhanced the blood filtration rate, reduced the platelet aggregability, inhibited granule release from collagen-stimulated platelet, the prostaglandin syn-thesis in platelet and enhanced erythrocyte deformability. Conclusion : BHE should inhibit thrombos formation due to platlete hyperaggregabili-ty and reduction of erythrocyte deformabi-lity.
도인(桃仁), 소목(蘇木)이 Endotoxin으로 유발(誘發)된 어혈병태(瘀血病態)모델에 미치는 영향(影響)

Objective : This experimental study was carried out to investigate the effects of Persicae Semen(PS) and Caesalpiniae Lignum(CL) on the intravascular coagulation which is considered as thrombosis. Methods : Rats were pretreated orally with PS and CL extracts(PS: 8.45mg/100g, CL: 4.4mg/100g), and 1 hour later, to induce thrombosis, were given an endotoxin(0.01mg/100g) injection into the caudal vein. After 4hours we collected blood by cardiac puncture and measured the platelet count, the prothrombin time, the level of fibrinogen and the FDP(fibrinogen degradation product). Results : PS and CL supressed the decrease of the Platelet count and the prolongation of prothrombin time. In these factors, both groups showed significant effect. Both groups supressed the decrease of the fibrinogen level and the increase of the FDP level. But, only the PS group showed a significant effect on the fibrinogen level, and only the Cle CL group showed a significant effect on FDP level. Conclusions : PS had significant effects on the platelet count, the prothrombin time, and the FDP level. CL had significant effects on the platelet count, the prothrombin time, and the fibrinogen level. Therefore, PerSicae Semen and Caesalpiniae Lignum seem to be applicable to treating the diseases related to thrombosis.
