        The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of foam rolling as a recovery tool on blood lactic concentration after isokinetic lower extremity resistance exercise in university students. 16 male and female students from S university in Chungcheongnam-do were recruited for the study. The 16 students were divided into an experimental group and control group. The experimental group conducted foam rolling recovery for 15 minutes, after the isokinetic lower extremity resistance exercise. The control group took static recovery for 15 minutes. In order to confirm the effect of the form rolling recovery exercise, lactic acid was measured 4 times: pre-exercise, post exercise, after recovery exercise, and finally after 3 minutes of recovery exercise. The results of this study revealed that similar tendencies in restoring lactic acid in an experimental group and control group. After the exercise, the foam-roller recovery exercise was little different from taking a static recovery. Since the pre-research carried out a form-roller recovery for athletes, non-skilled subjects look tired during the form-roller recovery exercise for 15 minutes. Thus, it is not advisable to suggest foam-roller recovery exercise for non-skilled people.

        이산화탄소에 의한 메탄올 합성 (제 1 보). Cu / ZnO 촉매계 연구

        여러가지 조성비로 만든 Cu/ZnO계 촉매로 이산화탄소를 수소화시켜 메탄올을 합성하였다. 촉매제조시 각 성분의 조성비가 촉매활성에 미치는 영향을 조사하고 반응촉매에 대하여 표면적 측정(BET), 주사전자현미경 측정(SEM), X선회절분석(XRD), X선광전자분석(XPS) 등을 실시하여, 각 촉매의 촉매특성을 조사하고 촉매활성과의 연관성을 연구하였다. 반응생성물은 메탄올과 일산화탄소 뿐이었는데 메탄올의 생성은 CuO의 함량이 증가하면 그에 따라 점차 증가하였으나 CuO:ZnO의 조성비율이 30:70일 경우에 최대이었고, CuO가 70 이상이면 급격하게 감소하였다. 촉매에 대한 SEM 측정과 BET 측정결과에서 확인된 바와 같이 이점은 미세결정크기가 증가되고 표면적이 감소하는 점과 일치되었다. 또 XPS 측정결과에서 촉매표면상에서의 Cu의 농도는 Cu/Cu+Zn(atomic ratio)을 비교할 때 CuO의 함량이 50% 이상인 경우에서 현저히 감소하였다. 그리고 각 촉매들의 $Cu(2P^3)$에 대한 결합에너지의 수치상의 값은 거의 같았으나 환원된 상태의 $Cu(2P^3)$의 결합에너지는 소성된 상태의 것과 비교하여 낮아졌고, 표면에 분포된 Cu 는 대부분 $Cu^{\circ}$로 확인되었으며 CuO:ZnO의 조성이 30:70인 경우에서 최대가 되었다. 이것은 또한 CuO의 조성비율이 30인 때에 메탄올생성이 최대라는 실험결과와도 잘 일치하였다. 그리고 환원된 각각의 촉매로 펄스(pulse)형태의 반응기에서 이소프로판올을 분해시킨 결과 아세톤의 생성율이 프로필렌보다 컸음으로 이들은 염기성이 상대적으로 강한 촉매라고 추측하였다. The synthesis of methanol from carbon dioxide and hydrogen was studied for various compositions of Cu/ZnO catalyst system. Effect of the composition ratio of CuO and ZnO on the catalytic activity in the above reaction and the relationship between the activity and the characteristics of the catalysts were explained from the result of surface area measurements, SEM, XRD, and XPS. The major products of the reaction were methanol and carbon monoxide. The selectivity to methanol increased with increase of the copper oxide content in the catalyst up to CuO: ZnO = 30:70 weight ratio, and decreased rapidly when the content is above 70%. SEM and BET measurements, indicate that this point corresponds to the increasing point of the catalyst crystallite size and the decreasing point of the surface area. As to the Cu/Cu + Zn atomic ratio, the surface concentration of copper measured by XPS decreased remarkably when the copper oxide content in catalyst was higher than 50%. All the unreduced catalysts had almost same binding energy of Cu(2P3) level, but the binding energy for $Cu(2P^3)$ level of reduced catalysts was lowered than that of calcined catalysts. The surface copper species which was in the maximum amount when the CuO:ZnO composition in the catalyst was 30:70, existed as zero valent copper. This result agreed with the experimental result that the highest rate of methanol formation was observed when the CuO content in the catalyst was 30%. It was postulated that these reduced catalysts performed with a relatively strong basicity because the formation rate of acetone was higher than that of propylene in isopropanol decomposition as measured in a pulse type reactor.

      • 行政學의 科學性과 價値問題에 관한 考察

        This thesis studies the value problem and crisis of identity in public administration of which the claim to independence is criticized by other disciplines, especially, political science. Although the value problem and the scope of public administration are intimately associated, premises make them logically seperate. Public administration could bring value controversies to a settlement only through scientific methodology with respect to value judgements which any social science confronts with. The inquiry into essential character of public administrative phenomenon may identify public administration as a general academic discipline so long as it is divided from political and management phenomenon. What is the definition of public administration? What is the nature of it9 subject matter? Public administrative action as a social behaviour is a cooperative human action designed to maximize the realization of goals. "Public" nature of administration, however, faces with the problem of clarifying how public administrative action can be differentiated from political and management action. Goals of public administration deduce "public" nature which is deductive from the concept of public interest. In this context the definition of public administration is "the process of policy-making and policy-executing to formulate and realize goals of public interest."

        This thesis is concerned with political, economic and social factors which policy studies comes to the front today and considers various theories about policy studies. Public policies have made the issue with the following : 1) necessity of an advanced special knowledge according to the pluralism of modern society and the diversification of social and economic systems. 2) crucial demand of a synthesis about special knowledges in accordance with their extension. 3) development of decision-making theory in the field of social sciences and their application to the public sector. Public studies was not a matter of concern untill H. Lasswell named one of his own papers 'policy sciences'. Policy sciences in the initial stage did not get its achievement because behavioral science which policy sciences was dependent upon did not examine closely the relation between institution and enviornment and the interrelation among institutions. PPBS and public economics are concerned with public studies but the former does not confirm the positive analysis sociologically and politically, the latter is limited with the study of separate subjects. Both are lacking in the recognition how the factors of political system are connected with the qualitive and quantitative of public policy as an output. Traditional political process theory does not deal with the substance and value of public policy although it examines the political function of social groups through political dynamics of reciprocal conflict and negotiation among the groups. The factors that determine the content and effect of public policy are not always political variables composing of political system, but various social, economic and cultural variables outside the political system al·e related with them. In this sense policy analysis demands an interdisciplinary of sciences. It is important in policy studies to make it clear how these various variables are acknowledged in politics and treated through political process. So it is necessary to review the significance of political process on the side of public policy studies.
