The mercury contents of polished Tice were spectrophotometrically determined using Diths'r izone method. The Samples examined were collected from 60 different areas and from 15 rice fields which were sprayed for different number of times with mercury-containing insecticides. Contents of 25 ingredients of the Han River water were determined and the mean and standard deviation of these values were calculated. The Han River stream was divided by three portions and the values of these three portions' water were compared each other. The correlation coefficients of these values were found by the correlation charts obtained. The equation of regression lines for the strongly correlated groups were presented by use of which one can estimate a certain ingredient's value from the value of another strongly correlated one. For BOD and MPN of Coliform group multiple correlation and regression plane were analysed respectively.
This study is to investigate the current status of human resources based on public data on the supply and demand of public health physical therapists in Korea and to estimate the demand by 2035 by applying appropriate ratios according to various criteria. In this study, we selected data on the current status of the operation, manpower and Visiting Health Care Services in the Public Data and Research Policy Reports by the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service, Ministry of Health and Welfare, Korea institute for Health and Social affairs, Statistics korea, Korea Health Industry Development Institute from 2006 to 2016. If a physical therapist is deployed per institution by installing public health center in all administrative areas nationwide, the ratio of the number of persons in charge of public health physical therapist is fixed and estimated at 3,844. Assuming that the ratio of public health physical therapists in public health centers is 1: 1, it is estimated that 1,284 public health physical therapists will be needed by fixing the proportion of the population per public health physical therapist. It has been shown that 1,696 people are needed, assuming that the average rate of increase in public health physical therapists over the last decade will increase their workforce supply at the same rate of change by 2035. When estimating additional manpower for each type of workforce required for health center visit health projects, a survey of 10.3 % found 2,288 persons, total of 1,466 persons of 6.6 % in the United States and a total of 1,000 persons of 4.5 % in the Japan. As demand for public health physical therapists continues to increase, the minimum manpower criteria should be expanded and deploy additional manpower so that more human resources can be supplied than current 671 public health physical therapists.
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the risk of falling or prediction validity for predictor of falls in patients with chronic stroke using the berg balance scale (BBS), sit to stand test (STS), timed up & go (TUG), functional reach test (FRT), and maximal step length (MSL). This study were included 61 patients with chronic stroke. 15 patients had once or no experience of falling, and 46 patients had experienced at least two falls. The receiver operation characteristic (ROC) curve was conducted to detect cut-off value of variables. The predictive value of measurement variables for accurately prediction of falls. The pearson's correlation coefficients were calculated to determine the strength of the relationships between variables and Odd ratio was calculated by logistic regression analysis in order to predict the degree of risk falls and non-falls. The selection standard value (AUC, sensitivity, specificity) for risk of falls of STS was 15.88s (.77, 87%, 59%), TUG was 13.92s (.74, 80%, 72%), MSL was 32.57cm (.77, 80%, 65%), FRT was 17.97cm (.79, 93%, 67%) and BBS was 24 score (.70, 60%, 91%) which were in the acceptable range. Adjusted bivariate logistic regression found MSL (p=.008) and FRT (p=.008) to be predictors for falls. The patients with chronic stroke who were MSL >32.57cm, FRT >17.97cm were 1.10 times, 1.29 times more likely to experience falls. We also recommended further study of considering walking endurance, walking speed, body condition(height, led length) of the subject and include a multidirectional measurement of the maximum step length and suggesting the leg criteria for the maximal step length on the consider paralyzed side.
척수손상환자의 신체활동을 돕고, 이용이 편리한 운동기구 개발을 위해서 모터에 의해 전후 방향으로 구동 되는 조정에르고미터를 개발하고, 운동부하검사를 실시하여 유산소운동장비로 타당성이 있는지를 평가해보고자 하였다. 중도포기한 2명을 제외한 최종 연구 참여 대상자는 여섯명(척수손상 환자 연령 31±10세, 손상후기간 10.1±7.2개월)으로 흉추 2번부터 요추 1번 사이의 척수손상환자였다. 모든 대상자는 조정에르고미터와 암에르고미터에서 무작위 순서로 최대운동부하검사를 각각 실시하여 운동시간, 일률, 운동자각도를 측정하였으며, 호흡가스분석 장비를 이용하여 최고심박수, %심박수, 호흡교환율, 체중당 최대 산소 섭취량, 체중당 평균산소 섭취량, 에너지대사랑을 측정하였다. 그 결과 일률이 암에르고미터가 높았던 것에 비해 운동자각도와 체중당 최고산소섭취량은 조정에르고미터가 유의하게 높았다. 두 장비간의 검사전후 변화량비교에서 체중당 최고산소섭취량, 체중당 평균산소섭취량 및 에너지대사량은 조정에르고미터가 유의하게 큰 변화를 보였다. 본 연구에서 개발된 모터를 이용한 조정운동기구는 척수손상환자의 심혈관계 기능의 향상을 위한 유산소운동기구로 타당성이 있는 것으로 판단된다.
A numerical study has been conducted on the combined radiation-natural convection heat transfer characteristics in a square cavity with a selectively transparent wall. The fluid in the cavity is assumed to be transparent to the thermal radiation. The effect of the wall emissivity is mainly considered in view of the temperature and flow fields. The comparison of the radiative heat flux and conductive heat flux variations along the isothermal wall is presented as well. The results show that the Nusselt number distribution is fairly uniform due to the com-pensative interaction of the radiation and convection heat transfer.
