        묽은 자성반도체 Ti0.9957Fe0.01O2의 뫼스바우어 분광학적 연구

        The rutile polycrystal Ti0.9957Fe0.01O2 prepared with 57Fe-enriched iron has been studied by using Mössbauer spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, and vibrating sample magnetometry. The Mössbauer spectrum of Ti0.9957Fe0.01O2 consists of a ferromagnetic phase and a paramagnetic one over a temperature range from 4 to 300 K. Isomer shifts indicate Fe2+ for the ferromagnetic phase, but Fe3+ for the paramagnetic phase, of the Ti0.9957Fe0.01O2 sample. The hyperfine field of the ferromagnetic phase is noted to be about 1.48 times as large as that of α-Fe. The XRD data for Ti0.9957Fe0.01O2 showed a pure rutile phase with tetragonal structures without any segregation of Fe into particulates within the instrument's resolution limit. The magnetic hysteresis (M-H) curve at room temperature showed an obvious ferromagnetic behavior, and the magnetic moment per Fe atom under an applied field of 1 T was estimated to be about 0.71 μ_B, suggesting a low spin configuration of Fe ions. 동위원소 57Fe 를 첨가하여 제조한 Ti0.9957Fe0.01O2 묽은 자성반도체를 뫼스바우어 분광법, X-선 회절과 진동시료형자력계 (VSM)을 사용하여 특성을 연구하였다. 4 에서 300 K 온도 구간에서 측정한 Ti0.99 57Fe0.01O2의 뫼스바우어 분광 스펙트럼은 전 온도 구간에서 강자성과 상자성상이 공존하여 나타났다. 강자성상의 핵이성체 이동값은 0.93 mm/s 로 Fe2+ 상태를 나타내었고, 상자성상의 핵이성체 이동값은 0.41 mm/s 로 Fe3+ 나타냈다. Ti0.99 57Fe0.01O2 의 초미세자기장 값은 α-Fe의 초미세자기장값 보다 1.48배 크게 나타났는데 이러한 강자성 특성은 주목할 만하다. Ti0.9957Fe0.01O2 의 X-선 회절 실험 결과는 정방정계 구조(tetragonal)의 순수한 rutile 상을 나타내었고, Fe 가 덩어리로 존재하는 흔적은 찾을 수 없었다. 실험실 온도에서 측정한 자기이력곡선 측정을 통해서 1 Tesla 의 자기장 하에서 Fe 원자당 자기 능률은 0.71μB 라는 것을 알 수 있었는데, 이 값은 Fe 이온들이 낮은 스핀 (low spin) 상태에 있음을 나타내었다.

        Treatment Outcomes of Patients with Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma of Unknown Primary

        The purpose of this study was to evaluate clinical characteristics and treatment outcome of patients with head and neck squamous cell carcinoma of unknown primary (HNSCCUP), treated according to the method of our hospital. Six patients with histopathologically and radiologically confirmed HNSCCUP January 2010-December 2016 were enrolled in this study. All patients underwent radical neck dissection involving level I-V, bilateral tonsillectomy, and diagnostic esophagoscopy and postoperative radiotherapy (RT), with or without concurrent chemotherapy. There were no major complications resulting from surgical intervention. Duration of follow-up was 56.3±20.2 months (range, 28-82 months). There was no recurrence or late detection of primary site of HNSCCUP. All patients with HNSCCUP except one were alive, at the time of the last follow-up. The other patient had no recurrence of HNSCCUP, but died of colon cancer at 58 months postoperatively. We have successfully treated patients with HNSCCUP by performing radical neck dissection, bilateral tonsillectomy, and diagnostic esophagoscopy and postoperative RT with concurrent chemotherapy, and recommend using this method as the main treatment method.

      • 雲吉山演習林 主要造林樹種의 成長過程에 關한 硏究

        本 硏究는 演習林內 造林樹種의 成長過程과 一般收穫表上의 成長過程을 比較하여 演習林經營合理化를 위한 基礎資料로 提供하고자 실시하였다. 演習林內 6個小班에서 3個樹種의 標準本으로 選定하였으며 樹幹析解를 通하여 分析한 結果는 다음과 같다. 1) 樹高成長은 25年을 基準으로 할 때 일본잎갈나무, 리기다소나무, 잣나무의 順位였다. 2) 直俓成長은 25年을 基準으로 할 때 일본잎갈나무, 잣나무, 리기다소나무, 잣나무의 順位였다. 3) 材積成長은 일본잎갈나무, 잣나무, 리기다소나무의 順位로 樹高成長보다 直俓成長에 더 影響을 받는다. 4) 演習林內 造林 樹種의 成長이 一般收穫表에 比較에 不良한 成長을 보이고 있다. 5) 成長率에서는 初期成長率은 一般收穫表上과 對等하거나 높은 傾向을 나타내나 樹齡이 增加함에 따라 減少하는 것을 계속적인 推育管理에 疏忽에 起因한다. This study was carried to compare the growth of silvicultural species in the university forest with those of general yield table prepared for the entire country and to afford data for the rationalization of university forest management. The growth researches were made at six subcompartments through stem analysis, and the results obtained in this study were as follows; 1) The height growth on the basis of 25 ages in Larix leptolepis was found the best, and those of Pinus rigida Pinus koraiensis in order. 2) The diameter growth on the basis 25 ages it Larix leptolepis was found the best, and those of Pinus koraiensis Pinus rigida in order. 3) The volume growth Larix leptolepis was found the best, and those of Pinus karalensis Pinus in order, it is affected more the diameter growth than the height growth. 4) The growth of the silvicultural species in the university forest was poor as compared with those of the general yield table. 5) In the growth rate, the silvicultural species in the university forest was higher at the early stage, but as the age progressed the growth rate was radically decreased, was lower than the general yield table. It is to tending-carelessness.

        This study was carried out to verify the Nature and Role on the Forest Association in Korea through Historical fact, Theoretical background, and Analysis of the Association's business. the results were summarized as follows : 1. The Forest Association have both the Nature of agency group for National forest resource policies and of Cooperative Association for profit of the union's member. 2. The Forest Association have to be emphasized on the Nature of the local union over the Nature of the functional union. 3. The Forest Association have to be forstered from a point of view Local Forestry Capital. 4. The Forest Association have to be become independent through the variety of economic business. And it's independence have to be supported with the systematical and legal security. 5. In order to accomplish these roles would be taken a decisive support from the Government and carried out it's effort of the Forest Association.
