        According to the officially accepted date, the arrival of Buddhism at Korea took place in 372 A.D. Priest Sundo, a Chinese, was welcomed by the ruler of the Koguryo Kingdom, Sosurim(l7th king), in t h e first year of his reign. Since that, Buddhism has existed to present time, making lots of historically cultural matters. Originally, a buddhist temple area is a scared space which monks practice meditation. But nowadays a temple also provides a resting and sight-seeing place for visitors as it has historically cultural value. This study is a basic research to provide reasonably applicable development guideline for conserving of tradition in the korean buddhist temples. For this, We have researched the Songkwang-sa, Sunam-sa, Hwaum-sa, Chuneun-sa, Baegyang-sa located in Ghonnam Province. The study consists of three parts. The first considers what is the discord elements and how many discord 'elements are in the researched temples. The second classifies types of discord elements, defines the boundary according to religious hierarchy, and analyzes them. The third asks visitors a question about whether they cognize discord elements, and about a degree of harmony of the discord elements and tradition.

      • 아파트 가격에 영향주는 환경적 요인에 관한 연구

        This study analyzes the factors affecting the apartment price in apartment from the viewpoint of four group variables such as access convenience, neighboring facilities, convenience of apartment convenience and physical characteristics. this study investigates 393 apartment houses in 79apartment complexes in relation to all variables including apartment price and as a result, it is shown that the apartment price is determined by the influence of the housing scale. considering the analysis results of correlation of 20 variables, it is shown that apartment price is high as its scale is great, years of apartment are shorter, capacity rate is lower and the number of stories is higher. In addition, as a result of dispersion analysis of 18 price variables, the variables composing access convenience, residence story in the physical side, the number of shopping center, capacity rate, road area, building space, the number of stories of building and years used are significant. as a result of abstracting the variables affecting the apartment price with these variables more exactly, eight variables of the number of schools and shopping centers, capacity rate, road area, building space, the number of stories and building and size can be abstracted and as a result of measuring the influence of apartment price with these variables, the variable affecting apartment price is the size of apartment and followed by the number of shopping center>building space>the number schools>the number of buildings From the above result, apartment price is higher as the size of housing is bigger, but the higher convenience of neighboring environment is, the better environment of apartment complex is and the more recently apartment is constructed, the higher the apartment price is.

      • 광주·전남지역 재실의 건축적 특성에 관한 연구

        This study is to examine the actual conditions of the houses built for ancestral rites in Jeonnam region with them located at Hwasun-gun, Jangseong-gun and Gwangsan-gu in Jeonnam through the process of literature survey, measurement and analysis. The results of this study are as follows. It is found that the location of the houses built for ancestral rites is mostly found at mountain in back of the village, followed by inside and back of the village. According to the period, it was built distant from the village earlier and it was difficult to approach them and was closed space for family, but it has been opened and generalized to the public people because it was built back or inside the village. The location of the houses built for ancestral was mostly 二-letter type, followed by 一-letter type. 一-letter type can be classified according to the number of rooms. The three rooms type has the basic type of "R1-F-R2〔WVF〕", extra type of "R1(Rs)-F-R2(Rs)〔WVF〕" and division type of "R1/Rs-F-R2/Rs〔WVF〕". the four rooms type has the basic type of "R1-F-F-R2〔WVF〕", extra type of "R1/Rs-F-F-R2/Rs〔WVF〕", division type of "R1(Rs)-F-F-R2〔WVF〕" and other type of "R1(Rs)-F-F-R2/Rs〔WVF〕". The five rooms type has four types such as the basic types of "R1-F-F-F-R2〔WVF〕", "S-R1-F-F-F-R2〔WVF, WVL〕", the extra type of "R1/Rs-R/FH-F-F-R2〔WVF〕" and the division type of "R1/Rs-R/R-F-F-R2〔WVF〕".

        This is the second phase of study concering the transformation of urban housing in social change to find the formative background and transformation in korea through the architectural and the historical data analysis in solving problems of urban substandard settlements. The purpose of present study is mainly to reveal the historical characteristics of transformation urban substandard settlement by analyzing both previous architectural and non-architectural research data and thus to delineate some seperate periods. As a result, the characteristics of transformation in substandard housing is the product of social change. I investigated socio-econimic and political background which exerted a great influence on the transformation of substandard settlement.

        Present study is it define the basis of scale formation of Korean hut, is the first habitation in the country, and to analyze the relationship in the physical phenomenon among Area, depth, long and short side, which is hased on the exiting gata and the result of through literature review of the past. The point of analysis is an attempt to define a series of formed in a social change that are closely associated with the habitation scale from the primitive age to the present as I draw up a relationship between a change of social culture and a physical appearance of habitation scale. Thus the purpose of this research is to study historical background of the formation of Korean hut, and to define a series of laws in the social chang, and to find the relationship and consituent factors to the habitation scale, under the hypothesis that habitation scale, physical phenomenon associated with area, depth, long and short side is determined by the result of social change, that is a change in the habitation scale is resulted by a change of social culture.

        A modern architecture was indebted to development of scientific technology and modern artistic movement in a great deal and it was influenced by socio-cultural evolution since the Industrial Revolution, A struggle was matured to overcome the admiration and following to classical ones in the 19th century. Thus, an architectural (artistic) movement is to be settled from 1900 to 1970 as a point of occurrance in the study, and the purpose of this study is to defin There characteristics by There step-by-step characteristics. It can be summarized as follows. 1) Breakway Period(1900-1910) The period was conformed to a period of Art Nouveau line movement as a period of breakway for the past pattern in the 19th century. This movement was opposed to the mass product of impersonal industrial art objects due to the past style and occurred in France and Belgium under the influence of Art and Craft movement Which emphasized morality and sociality. 2) Formative Period of Modern Architecture(1910-1920) This period was the one that the Cubism established a new conception of model in the 20th century as a grafting Period between Architecture and Painting and sculpture in this period. The characteristics of this period was that an effort introducing a graphic conception of space to the architecture was vigorous because it was easy to predict and develop a new conception to the space and significantly expect a functional and formative problem that will be solved comparing painting sculpture to architecture because the both Painting sculpture were pure arts. 3) Period of puberty(1920-1950) the Bauhaus that was established by an influence of the Cubism and the Neo-Plastism movement with the basis of weimar Art School was a formative school to pursue a functional and reasonabls beauty and to synthesize a kind of art and skill with the basis of the modern industrial technology The idea that this school Pursued gave an influence to the establishment of functinal in ternatinal architecture and had made a mainstream of the interna ional style for 50years since 1925 4) The Tendency since(1950-) As a social structure was changed from verticality to horizontality, the artistic pattern was also changed into a multitude-oriented artistic Pattern and inhumanistic unitormity was break down due to a functional and resonable logic of thought by the International school in the tendency that the architecture was not a subordinate Products of the special classes or master builder any more and became a flexible one for the its users activities and formation of society. And it was insisted by them that a variety and response were to be reflected as a change, flexibility, and movement humanely. So in the architecture.
