Resistant problems in the reinforced concrete structures are initially occurred by making a mistake for setting-up of steel-bars when they are under construction. The aim of this study is generally to guide and supplement the imperfections with steel-bar setting-up. Needs for new supplements on the existing regulations are emphasized to be met in this paper, and therefore, things more to be required are the use of spacer and the detailed regulations. Accordingly these, the usages and calculations of spacers are proposed in this paper.

The author wants to discuss about two troubles, one is that the weight of materials for construction is becoming lighter, and the other is that preventions and refuge in case of fire out of the construction. Both are the troubles of today when the steel concrete buildings are becoming higher and higher, which is far beyond the common senses of past days. a. On the weight of construction material; Of late, materials for construction are being developed for more stronger ones, and elements of building are for lighter ones. b. On fire preventions and refuges; Nowadays, the higher buildings go up, the more human lives and property face to danger. It is demanded to study over the security of fire preventions and shelter from fire.

In korea, studies on the structural design of earthquake resistance have now become very important in the field of building structure, according to such background situations as records on earthquake activities in the past and present, and so, enlargement of building volumes. The aim of this study is to inspect and examine the design methods of earthquake and its problem solving in Japan, and then to give a new solution for earthquake resistance in Korea.
BASEL III Counterparty Risk and Credit Value Adjustment: Impact of the Wrong-way Risk

During the financial crisis of 2007 through 2010, BIS estimated that two-thirds of the loss of the financial institutions was due to credit valuation adjustment (CVA). The CVA is the marked-to-market price of credit products which involve counterparties. Hence, in BASEL III, banks are required to capture and allocate CVA capital and wrong-way risk (WWR). In this paper, we show that BASEL III CVA capital charge increases as the credit rating of the counterparty deteriorates. We also show that the extreme WWR can increase the BASEL III CVA charge by 30 times in Davis and Pistorius model.
