As the initial work to apply Ecological Interface Design (EID) technique to the development of car dashboard, this research developed Work Domain Model by performing and using Work Domain Analysis of work scope related to the car operation. Further, Information Requirements were drawn to develop car dashboard on the basis of completed model. Analyzing the drawn Information Requirements, it was confirmed that the information indicated on the car dashboard currently in use is low-leveled (only the physical state of car) among the information necessary for car operation. Thus, the possibility of developing new car dashboard on the basis of newly discerned Information Requirements is confirmed. Based on the result of this research, further study will be conducted to provide basic frame of EID application in the specific development of car dashboard.
극소량 절삭유 분무를 이용한 마이크로 드릴링 가공특성에 관한 실험적 연구

This paper presents the experimental characterization of micro drilling process under conditions of dry, compressed air and minimum quantity lubrication (MQL). A series of micro drilling experiments were conducted in the miniaturized desktop machine tool system. Micro drills with the diameter of 200 um were used in the experiments, and the workpiece was aluminum 6061. The experimental results showed that MQL reduced the adhesion of chips when compared with the case of dry micro drilling. As a result, it was observed that the magnitudes of average drilling torque and thrust force were decreased and the tool life of micro drills was extended in the case of MQL micro drilling.
자동차 계기판 개발을 위한 WDA(Work Domain Analysis) 적용

The purpose of this study is to apply WDA (Work Domain Analysis) for the development of EID (Ecological Interface Design) of vehicle control display. At first, a work domain model on the automobile operation was developed using the AH (Abstraction Hierarchy) which is one of WDA tools. Secondly, information requirements that should be included in vehicle control displays were extracted on the basis of the completed model. The vehicle control information that typical automobiles interface displays currently provide occurred on the low level of the work domain model. This implies that current control displays impose too heavy cognitive workload on automobile drivers. Information requirements that can be included new vehicle control display are also discovered in the high level of the work domain model. The detailed information for EID was not proposed in this study. In the further study, the development of vehicle control display will be deeply conducted, using the results of this study.
이중구조 라이닝의 배수공 막힘에 따른 수리-역학적 상호작용

지하수 작용과 관련하여 현장에서 발생하는 문제는 1차 라이닝의 투수계수의 저하에 따른 영향뿐만 아니라 배수재의 투수성능에 따른 복합적인 요인의 상호 작용의 결과로 볼 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 이중구조라이닝 연계 FEM 해석을 통해 지반-라이닝-배수재의 투수영향에 중점을 두고 배수시스템의 성능저하에 따른 터널구조물에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 해석 결과 배수장애가 발생할 경우의 수압증가는 2차라이닝에 심각한 구조적 부담을 줄 수 일음이 확인되었다. 배수공이 모두 폐색되는 경우 비배수 터널이 되어 수직으로 뜨는 형태의 거동을 보였다. 그리고 배수공의 폐색이 비대칭적으로 발생하는 경우 터널 축방향 비틂 거동을 야기하여 2차라이닝 구조에 심각한 영향을 미칠 수 있음이 확인되었다. Tunnel problems relate to pore water pressure generally occur due to the restriction of groundwater flow into the tunnel which is generally caused by the deterioration of drainage systems. Previous studies have identified the problem as combined mechanical and hydraulic interaction occasions. In this study, detrimental effects of pore water pressure on the lining were investigated using the finite element method considering deterioration of the drainage system. Particularly, double-lined linings with drain-holes are considered. Deterioration of drainage system is represented as blockages of drain-holes. It is identified that the secondary lining ran be influenced by the deterioration of drainage system. It is shown that a tunnel with all drain-holes blocked moved upward, and unbalanced drain-hole blocking may result in torsional behavior of the tunnel which causes significant damages to the secondary linings.
